16. Dominik

DOMINIK

She’s still on her knees, breath stuttering, skin flushed, her thighs a mess of slick and sweat and orgasm. I should let her rest. I should pull her into bed and make her drink water, make her sleep.

Instead, I lean in and kiss her shoulder, then her spine, then the soft dip of her lower back.

She shivers and shifts her weight, turning to look at me, and I catch her mouth before she speaks.

I kiss her slow, messy, using tongue and teeth until she forgets what she was going to say.

She melts under it, under me, fingers dragging into my hair, the taste of herself still on her lips.

She moans into my mouth and I swallow it like I earned it.

“You think we’re finished?” I murmur against her skin.

She huffs a breath, dazed. “I thought maybe you’d finally sleep.”

I drag her into my lap and her thighs part easily, welcoming, already wet again. “Not a fucking chance.”

I kiss her hard again, holding her jaw in one hand while the other slides between her legs. She rocks against my fingers like she needs it more than breath. I want her needy. I want her ruined.

“I missed this,” I tell her, my voice rough against her lips. “The way you fall apart for me. The way you open up and stop pretending you don’t want to be taken.”

She trembles in my arms. Her thighs flex. Her fingers dig into my shoulders.

“Dominik—”

“Say it again,” I cut in. “My name. I want it from your mouth while I make you come.”

Her lips part but she doesn’t speak. Not right away. She’s trying to keep something back.

I ease two fingers into her slowly, watching her head fall back as her walls clench around me.

“I don’t want to do this alone anymore,” she says suddenly, voice cracking mid-word.

“I’ve been running for years. Changing IDs, stealing hours to rest, keeping Mila fed in towns where I couldn’t even trust the water.

I’ve slept in barns. I’ve carried a fevered child five miles through a forest with no cell signal. No help. No one.”

My jaw clenches so hard it hurts.

I curl my fingers inside her and hold her tight against me.

“You’re not doing it alone again,” I growl. “Not one more fucking day. Not while I’m breathing.”

She stares at me like she doesn’t trust it. Like it’s too big a promise. Like she’s still waiting for the moment I’ll take it back.

“The fact that you don’t know who her father is…” she starts, voice hushed, guilt sliding in.

“It bothers me,” I cut her off. I don’t lie. “It’s in my head. But it’s not bigger than this.”

“This?” she asks, voice tight.

“This,” I say again, lifting her onto the bed and crawling after her. “Us. You. The fact that you’re mine and you came back into my sight line, which means I’m never fucking letting you go again.”

Her breath catches.

I push her thighs apart and kiss up her stomach, her ribs, her breasts. I suck one nipple into my mouth and then the other, biting gently until she’s arching for more.

“And Mila?” she asks.

I meet her eyes. “She’s part of you. That makes her part of me. End of story.”

She swallows hard, emotion flickering through her eyes before she gives me a slow nod.

I pull back and reach into my wallet, slide out the second condom, and rip the foil. I’m still half-hard, but it doesn’t take much. She’s watching me stroke myself back to full length, her lip caught between her teeth, her thighs shifting restlessly.

I roll another condom on, then crawl between her legs.

“You ready?” I ask, even though I know the answer.

“Dominik—”

I kiss her again, deep and firm, then slide into her slow, inch by inch. She gasps into my mouth and wraps her legs around me, arms coming up to hold me tighter than she has all night.

I move slowly at first, grinding deep, letting her feel every stroke.

My mouth finds her throat, her collarbone, her jaw.

I whisper filth and truths in equal measure, telling her what I’ll do to anyone who tries to take her from me again.

I kiss the corner of her mouth and make her promise she won’t run.

I bite her shoulder and make her say she’s mine.

She clings to me. She rocks with me. She moans my name like it’s the only word she knows.

I grip her hips and roll, flipping us over so she’s astride me, flushed and wild in the soft light.

Her palms flatten on my chest, steadying herself, and her breath shudders out.

I don’t guide her. I let her choose the pace.

She rocks slowly at first, adjusting to the angle, eyes fluttering shut when I thrust up to meet her.

“Look at me,” I say, voice dark. “I want to watch you fall apart.”

She opens her eyes, lids heavy, lashes damp.

Her lips part around a soft sound, and she starts to move again, hips circling, dragging me deeper with every roll.

My hands grip her waist, then slide up to her ribs, then back down to the curve of her ass.

She’s so wet I can feel the slick heat coating me, dripping down, making each movement louder, filthier.

She rides me harder now, bouncing, then grinding, trying to find more friction, more pressure. Her thighs start to shake.

I slide a hand between us and stroke her clit with slow, steady circles.

Her breath catches. Her body jerks. She grabs my wrist and pants, “Don’t stop—don’t—Dominik—”

She breaks with a cry, thighs clamping, muscles clenching tight around me.

I watch her fall apart like I asked her to.

Her head tips back, neck arched, mouth open.

I don’t stop touching her. I drag it out, make her tremble through the aftershocks.

She collapses onto me, face in my neck, still pulsing around me.

“Again,” I whisper into her hair. “Give me another.”

She laughs, breathless and fucked-out, but she lifts her head.

I shift under her, sit up, and guide her legs around my waist. I kiss her again, deep and slow, before turning her and pushing her back down onto the bed.

She doesn’t protest. Her knees fall apart, thighs loose, already slick and sensitive again.

I slide out, just enough to flip her to her side, lift one leg over mine, and slide back in from behind. She gasps like it surprises her—urgent and needy. The angle is tight and deep. I wrap an arm around her waist and fuck her slow, then faster, then brutal when she pushes back into every thrust.

“Right there,” she whimpers. “Don’t stop—don’t you dare.”

I don’t. I hold her in place and drive into her, each stroke pulling another sound from her throat. She’s loud and unguarded and shaking. I feel her build again, her body going taut, her fingers clawing at the sheets.

I let go of her waist and slide my hand up, cupping her breast, squeezing until she moans again. My mouth finds her neck, her ear, her shoulder. I fuck her through it and whisper, “Come for me, baby.”

She does—hard, sudden, with a cry that breaks on my name. Her whole body goes rigid, then limp, clenching around me with wet heat and pulsing pressure. She’s still shaking when I roll her forward and lift her hips again.

“I’m not done,” I tell her, dragging her back onto my cock, deeper this time, harder. She whimpers, half-laughing, half-broken.

“I can’t. Dominik, I can’t—”

“Yes, you fucking can.”

I keep going, and she takes it. She doesn’t run.

She doesn’t close up. She lets herself be held open and filled, lets me use her the way I need to, lets me fuck her the way I couldn’t for all those years we were apart.

I shift again, fold her in half, knees up, her legs pressed to her chest. The position has her gasping and wide-eyed.

I grind deep and slow until her mouth drops open in a silent moan.

“That’s it,” I say. “Right fucking there. Feel how deep I am?”

She nods, frantic, lips trembling.

I pull almost all the way out, then slam back in, and her scream is pure broken pleasure.

She doesn’t say words anymore. She moans and shakes and clutches at the sheets like she might lose her mind.

Her third orgasm builds fast—faster than either of us expects.

Her whole body convulses, and she goes silent for a second before the cry rips free.

I stop only when she’s limp under me, hair stuck to her face, tears on her cheeks. I don’t pull out yet. I stay there, thick and hard inside her, one hand on her hip, the other brushing her hair back so I can see her eyes.

“Still breathing?” I ask.

She gives me a slow nod and a half-smile, eyes glassy and dazed.

I grin. “Good.”

I shift just enough to press deeper into her again. She gasps, back arching, and I groan, deep in my chest. She’s soaked, swollen, sensitive, and hot as hell around me. I’ve held back long enough. My body is a tight coil, every muscle strained from control.

“I need to finish inside you,” I say, not asking. I wasn’t done the first time, just riding the edge. Now I let it take me.

She pulls me closer instead of answering. Her thighs lift, wrapping weakly around me again.

That’s all the permission I need.

I grip her hips and move. Not slow. Not rough.

Just steady and deep, built for that final climb.

She breathes hard under me, nails dragging across my back, mouth brushing my neck.

Her walls pulse around me with every thrust, her body still clenching from the last orgasm like it doesn’t know how to stop.

I bury my face in her neck and thrust harder. My teeth graze her skin. My hand finds hers and pins it above her head. I fuck her like I’ve earned it—like I own every inch of her and always will.

“Say it,” I growl into her skin. “Say who you belong to.”

Her breath catches. “You.”

“Louder.”

“You, Dominik.”

That does it. I slam into her, one last hard, deep thrust, and I spill into the condom with a groan that tears straight from my chest. My body jerks and my vision blacks out for a second from the force of it.

I stay there, buried in her, shaking with the aftershock. Her fingers stroke my back, gentle now, grounding me.

It takes a full minute before I can move. Before I even want to.

When I finally pull out, she winces and flinches. I kiss her shoulder in apology and get rid of the condom, tying it off and tossing it in the bin. I grab a cloth from the drawer and wet it in the bathroom, then come back to clean her up.

She doesn’t say anything while I do, just watches me with that same dazed expression. Her thighs twitch under my hands when I wipe between them, and I kiss the inside of her knee when I’m done.

I toss the cloth and crawl back in next to her, pulling the blanket over us. She shivers, more from exhaustion than cold.

“Come here,” I say, wrapping an arm around her. She nestles into my chest like she belongs there.

“Dominik,” she whispers.

“Mm?”

“You meant what you said, right?”

I pull her tighter. “Every word.”

“Even about Mila?”

“She’s yours,” I say. “So she’s mine. That’s it.”

She presses her lips together for a beat. “She’s so smart,” she says in a thick voice. “And she always knows when I’m scared. She holds my hand when I’m trying not to cry in grocery stores. She—” Her voice breaks, and she buries her face in my chest.

“I’ve got you now,” I say, stroking her back. “You’re not carrying that alone anymore. Not her. Not the past. Not any of it.”

She clings to me, arms tight, like letting go isn’t an option.

I kiss her hair and pull the blanket higher. “You need sleep. You’re going to feel all of this tomorrow.”

She lets out a soft, broken laugh. “I already do.”

“Good,” I say. “Then maybe next time, you’ll remember not to run.”

She tilts her face up toward me. “There’s going to be a next time?”

I look down at her, brushing a thumb across her cheek. “There’s going to be a lot of next times.”

Her eyes soften. She touches my jaw.

“I don’t know how to be with someone like you,” she admits. “Not when everything’s been survival mode for so long.”

I nod. “Then we start slow. But we start.”

She swallows. “What if I mess it up?”

“You won’t.”

“And if I do?”

“I’ll still be here,” I say. “Still fixing what needs fixing. Still yours.”

Her breath trembles. Her hand finds mine under the blanket.

“Okay,” she finally says. “Then let’s get married.”
