Chapter Twenty-Five
LUCA
I appeared to have stunned Ollie into silence.
“Say something,” I pleaded. “Anything. Even if it’s to tell me to leave. If that’s what you want, I will.”
I’d find it near impossible, but I’d do it. If Ollie wanted me out of his life, I’d make it happen.
Even if it broke me in the process.
“I don’t want you to leave.” Ollie’s hands went around the back of my neck, pulling my forehead to lean against his again. “I want you. This. Us. Whatever that might look like.”
“There’ll be a lot of press speculation.
We won’t be able to hide this. We don’t need to go around doing interviews or anything like that.
” As much as I begrudgingly accepted the media as part of my life, there were lots of things I’d like to keep private.
Ironic that it was now a journalist who held the spot at the top of that list. “But I can’t hide how I feel about you, Ollie. I don’t want to.”
His thumb ghosted over my bottom lip. “I don’t want to either. These past few weeks without you have been hell. If being in the media occasionally is the price I need to pay to be by your side, I’m willing to pay it.”
“What about the travelling?” I persisted. “I’ll try and take you with me as often as we can swing it, but there’ll be times when you need to work. Are you sure you can cope with it?”
Ollie leaned back, amusement twisting his lips. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d ask if you’re trying to push me away again.”
I froze. Was that what I was doing? “I’m not…
I just want to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into.
I might be an easy person to be with, but Luca Weston is a totally different kettle of fish.
I need to know you can cope with that going in because I’m not sure I can cope with losing you again. ”
The tiny space spun as Ollie flipped our positions. Now I was the one with my back to the wall, Ollie crowding me in.
“Listen carefully, Luca.” His voice was soft, but there was an unmistakable note of steel weaving through it. “There is one single thing I can’t cope with. One. And that’s not having you in my life. It might be too fast, might sound soppy as fuck, but nothing matters to me except that.”
Tears burned at the back of my eyes as I struggled to keep my cool. “Really?”
“Really.” He brushed his nose along my jaw. “Fuck, Luca. I’m not used to…this. Admitting this shit. But please don’t make me feel like I have over the past few weeks. I’ll cope with anything else so long as you don’t break my heart again. I’m so fucking in love with you, Luca, and if you—”
His words cut off abruptly, his whole body stiffening as he realised the truth he’d let slip.
I caught his lips with mine, silencing him before he could take back the most beautiful words I’d ever heard. Our kiss was hard, bruising. A brief pause as we reminded ourselves of what we’d almost lost. “I love you too, Ollie.”
He pulled back, his eyes shining. “You do? It isn’t too soon?”
I laughed gruffly. “Who gets to decide whether it’s too soon? Pretty sure I knew how I felt the first day I met you.”
Ollie surged forwards, his hands cupping my face. This time his kiss was ferocious. Claiming.
When he eventually pulled back, I was panting. “So, we’re doing this?”
“We’re doing this.” His lips drew together thoughtfully as he eyed the security camera. “That camera definitely off?”
“Yep.” Not only was it off, but Jack was guarding the monitors to make sure no nosey fuckers turned it back on.
His hand drifted down my front, stopping at the button on my trousers. “How long did you arrange for us to be trapped?”
My cock throbbed, aching at the thought of feeling Ollie’s touch. “An hour.”
Ollie’s tongue ran up my neck, making me shiver. “Hmm. Did you think we’d need the extra time to mess around?”
“No.” I gasped as he palmed my erection. “I figured I’d need that long to persuade you to listen to me.”
“Well, lucky for both of us, I was in a listening mood.” His deft fingers unbuttoned my jeans, pulling the zip down smoothly. “Because I can definitely think of more fun ways to pass the time.”
This man was light years away from the Ollie I’d met in this lift six months ago. This Ollie knew exactly what he wanted, and from the way he was touching me, he had no issue with going after it.
“I seem to have the same dilemma as last time,” he drawled. “I remember you mentioned a few different ways to take care of it for me.”
I groaned as he nibbled his way along my jaw. “You weren’t ready for it back then.”
He slid his hand around my hips and toyed with my crease. “Question is, are you ready for me right now?”
I knew what he was really asking. Even without the camera working, it was still risky for us to fuck in public. Just the fact he was worried about it, worried about me, had me wanting this more than anything. “There’s lube in my wallet. Should be a condom too.”
He fished it from my coat pocket. “Got the lube, but there’s no condom.”
I bit back a groan. “Don’t suppose you have one.”
“Nope…but I haven’t been with anyone else. And I was tested after Suzie and I broke up.”
“I haven’t been with anyone else.” I wove my fingers between his. “I swear to you, there’s been no one else but you.”
“I know that. I trust you.”
My heart swelled in my chest. It might be a small thing, but Ollie being willing to take me bare proved just how much he trusted me.
We didn’t bother stripping off. The lift shouldn’t move for another thirty minutes, but we didn’t want to risk getting literally caught with our trousers down. I pulled mine to my knees while Ollie simply lowered his enough to free his dick.
“Fuck, I’ve missed this.” I couldn’t resist bending and swiping my tongue over the slit of his cock. “Missed the taste of you on my tongue.”
Ollie hissed and pulled me back gently by my hair. “Enough of that. I don’t want to blow until I’m buried deep inside you. I want to watch you on stage tonight, knowing my cum is leaking out of your hole.”
I groaned. “God, yes.”
Ollie didn’t rip the lube open as I’d expected but instead twisted me around until my chest was against the wall.
“Hands on the rail,” he said gruffly. “Stick your arse out for me.”
I bit my lip. “Where’ve you been hiding this version of yourself?”
His hands froze on my cheeks. “Do you not like it?”
I grabbed one of his hands and wrapped it around my throbbing shaft. The amount of precum I was leaking was ridiculous. “Does it feel like I don’t like it?”
“Good.” He sighed, and I felt his breath on my rear. He must’ve knelt behind me. “Because I’ve had a lot of time over the past few weeks to think about what I wished I’d done to you. And this was at the very top of the list.”
That was the only warning he gave me before his tongue tentatively probed my hole. A desperate moan broke from somewhere deep in my chest.
Ollie chuckled, his breath hot against my sensitive skin. “I’ll take that as a good noise.”
I couldn’t respond. Not when Ollie spread my cheeks with his hands and buried his face between them. His five o’clock shadow scraped against my skin, contrasting deliciously with the sensation of his tongue spearing deep inside me.
He didn’t hold back. There was no way to know this was his first time doing this. He ate me like I was his favourite dessert, his tongue devouring me with abandon.
And the noises he made…small, satisfied grunts…were enough to have me hurtling towards the edge.
“Stop,” I gasped when I could take it no more. The thin wooden rail creaked under my grip. “I’ll come if you keep going.”
Ollie kissed his way up my back, his hands leaving my backside as he rustled with something behind me. “As fun as that would be, I have other plans for you.”
“Yes,” I hissed as he slipped a lubed finger into me. It slid in with ease, Ollie’s talented tongue having softened me.
He prepped me quickly, both of us aware we were on a time crunch. The small space was stiflingly hot, sweat running down me as Ollie notched his cock against my hole.
Impatient to feel him, I surged backwards, wincing at the burn. It wasn’t enough to stop me though. I kept moving until I felt his pubic hair brush against my cheeks.
“Oh fuck,” Ollie whimpered, his fingers digging into my hips. “Luca, I’m not going to last.”
“That’s okay,” I panted, pulling off him slightly before thrusting backwards again. “We don’t have much time. We need to make this fast.”
“Good, because I can’t hold back.” He punctuated his statement with a hard thrust that had me throwing my hands against the wall to keep from crashing into it.
“Yes,” I moaned as he dragged his cock across my prostate. My nerves were singing, begging for more. “That’s it. Fuck me hard. I want to feel you while I’m up on stage.”
He growled, his hips slamming forward as he did as I asked.
He reached around to grab my cock, but I batted him away. “No. I want your hands on my hips. I want you to own me.”
Letting out a loud groan, he did as I asked, using his grip to drag me against him with even more force.
Spitting in my hand, I stroked myself furiously. I was so close. It wouldn’t take much to send me over the edge.
Ollie went first. His hips stuttered, and he sank his teeth into the tender skin between my shoulder and neck. The sharp sting had my orgasm slamming through me, my vision whiting out. I caught my cum in my hand, careful not to spill any on my jeans or the floor.
Ollie leaned against my back, his breath heavy in my ear. “Missed you.”
I twisted my head around so I could snag my lips with his. “Missed you more.”
It was only after he’d pulled out and helped me right my clothes that he spotted the mess I’d made in my hand. “Hang on, why didn’t we think of that last time?”
I smirked at him, pulling a tissue from my pocket and using it to clean up. “If I remember rightly, I offered you some tissues. You told me you’d prefer my mouth.”
His heated gaze settled on my full lips. Despite the very recent orgasm, I could feel arousal wending through me once more. “I definitely made the right call.”
With gentle hands, he took the tissue from me and took over clean-up duty. He’d just finished when the overhead lights flickered on, making us both wince at the sudden brightness.
“That was good timing,” he said. “You, ah, might wanna sort your hair.”
I squinted at my blurred reflection in the lift door. Running my hands through it a few times, I gave up with a sigh. “Nah. There’s no use. I can’t hide the fact I’ve been thoroughly fucked.”
Ollie slid his arms around me from behind, nuzzling where he’d bitten. “True. If the hair doesn’t tip Jack off, then this bruise will. Sorry.”
I rolled my eyes. “No, you’re not. I think you like the fact I’ll be up on stage later with your marks on display.”
He paused. “I hadn’t thought of that, but…yeah. I kinda do like that.”
The doors opened. As we’d planned, Jack was waiting for me alone. His searching gaze swept over us, taking in our rumpled clothes and the way Ollie was embracing me. He huffed like he was annoyed at the risk we’d taken, but I could see the truth hiding behind it.
He was happy for me.
“You guys good?” he asked gruffly.
“We’re good.” I stepped forward, taking Ollie’s hand in mine. “And just in time too. We’ve got a show to get to.”
The show that night was the best one of the Rude Awakenings tour.
I was a good-enough actor to fake my way through performances without my fans being able to tell the difference. But even so, tonight was leagues above where I’d been over the past couple of weeks.
Maybe people would say it was because we were on home soil. Or maybe because it was the second to last show of the tour.
But I knew the truth.
It had everything to do with the man standing at the front of the stage.
I couldn’t believe he’d been planning on coming here tonight. That he’d been willing to chase me down. To fight for us.
There was no jealousy on Ollie’s face tonight. Just pure pride as I sauntered across the stage and delivered the show of a lifetime.
Ninety thousand fans were held in the palm of my hand as I teased and flirted with the stadium. All of them believed I was singing to them. That they might be the one to catch my attention and hold it.
But there was only one who knew the truth. The one who’d looked and seen beyond the rock star to the man beneath.
When “Tease” started, I didn’t hesitate.
I passed my bandmates, Arlo grinning and Kai throwing me a wink as I made my way to where Ollie stood.
They’d had my back with Kevin. Once they’d found out the truth about Ollie, they’d helped me come up with the plan to trap him in the lift where we’d first met.
When we’d arrived at the venue that afternoon, my friends had treated Ollie like a returning hero.
He’d been fist bumped, clapped on the back, and hugged.
At first, Ollie had been bewildered, but as he handed over his phone at Arlo’s insistence, his expression turned secretly pleased.
By the time the three of them finished adding their contact info, Ollie almost looked like he was blinking back tears.
“I don’t have many friends,” he’d confided in me quietly after. “Just Riley, really.”
My chest had squeezed at that. “Don’t worry, babe. You can’t escape them now. The three of them are like needy fucking barnacles.”
“Hey!” Silas had protested, overhearing my comment. “Rude.”
“And accurate,” Kai had added, smirking at Ollie. “You’re stuck with us now, I’m afraid.”
They’d gone out of their way to make Ollie feel like one of us before the show. Now they were watching me, waiting for me to perform my party piece. The song we all knew Ollie was waiting for.
The audience was ready. The shouts steadily rose across the stadium.
Kneel. Kneel. Kneel.
I stayed standing, ignoring everything except the amused smirk playing around Ollie’s lips.
The chant rose to a roar. My bandmates continued to play the opening chords over and over, Silas riling up the crowd and encouraging them to yell louder.
But my knees were locked. Waiting.
Finally, it dawned on Ollie what I wanted. A flash of heat crossed his face before his full lips parted.
The word was soundless, lost in the clamour surrounding us.
Kneel.
I lowered myself to the ground, grinning at the feral smirk pulling at Ollie’s lips.
I might be performing for a sold-out stadium, but there was only one man who got to see the real me.
And from this day on, I’d kneel for no one else.
