🌟BONUS CHAPTER🌟

I moaned into Aiden's mouth as he devoured my mouth, his fingers through my hair before cupping the side of my face. His body pressed me further into the couch as his hands slid down to my body, igniting more flames of desire within me.

"Dad?"

He pulled back abruptly, jumping off the couch with wide eyes while I covered my mouth to hold back my giggles at his priceless expressions.

"Dad, what were you doing to mommy?" Asked Aydriana, making it harder for me to control my laughter.

Aiden's face flushed, causing my eyes to widen in surprise that the Aiden Knight was blushing.

He cleared his throat, at a loss for words.

"Nothing, my darlings, come here." I said, controlling my laughter and holding my arms open for our daughters who had ventured unannounced into our bedroom.

They came running up to me, cuddling up on my chest.

"Weren't you guys playing?" I asked gently, running my fingers through their hair simultaneously.

"We missed you." They spoke in unison.

"Do I not get any cuddles?" Aiden complained adorably.

He had turned into a soft, adorable, teddy bear version ever since the birth of our daughters.

At home at least. If I told people outdoors that the cold and scary Aiden Knight they knew of hosted pretend tea parties with his daughters and played dolls with them, they would surely lock me up in a mental asylum.

He was the perfect husband and father, and I knew without a doubt, that he would sacrifice the world if he had to, if it meant protecting us.

"We should let dad join us, don't you think?" I spoke, earning vigorous nods from the twins.

Aiden scooped them both up in his arms effortlessly. "Let's shift to the bed, hmm? Mom, come join us."

He settled in bed with our daughters on either side of him, keeping his arms around them, so I decided to settle on his lap at a very particular spot to tease him.

Resting the back of my head on his chest, I grinned teasingly at him while he menacingly stared down at me. "You just had to sit right there, didn't you?" He grumbled in my ear, causing me to giggle as I shifted on his lap, feeling his erection grow harder beneath.

He uttered a low groan.

"Dad, are you okay?" Asked Olivia.

I snickered, earning a glare from my husband.

"Yes, I'm fine, sweetheart," He replied, his voice strained. "It's almost your bedtime. Let's get you ready for bed, okay?"

I almost laughed, knowing exactly why he was eager to get them to sleep.

"Dad, tell us a bedtime story first." Urged Aydriana.

I shifted again on his lap on purpose, teasing him serving as a source of fun and satisfaction for me.

"I'll tell you guys one tomorrow. How about you just sleep without one tonight?" He suggested.

"No, dad, we want one now." They urged in unison.

"Yes, please tell us a bedtime story." I grinned at him, batting my eyelashes.

He glared at me. "Fine," he gave in. "How about I tell you an original story, my little ones?"

The twins excitedly nodded their heads, getting ready to hear the story. I didn't expect much from him, but when he began his story, he definitely caught me surprise.

"Once upon a time, there lived a handsome but troubled CEO—"

"What's a CEO?" Aydriana cut him off to ask.

I laughed softly. "Your dad. Your's dad's a CEO."

"So this person from the story is like dad?" Olivia asked innocently.

I swallowed, recalling everything he had been through.

"Yes," Aiden replied. "He was exactly like me... he had everything in the world. Money, power and luxury, but he lacked the most important thing. He didn't have a family."

I gulped, a lump forming in throat.

"So he didn't have a mom and dad like us?" Olivia inquired sadly, her eyes wide.

"No one to tell him bedtime stories?" Gasped Aydriana.

"Yup," Aiden nodded. "And that made him very sad. It also made him angry, causing him to... dislike everything and everyone. He believed that life was not worth living and that nothing could ever make him feel happy or normal again,"

The twins pouted while I played with my fingers, sitting in silence.

"Then one day, he... became very sick, so he had to go to the hospital," His words prompted an image of that night in my mind.

The night he was brought to the hospital, bleeding and barely breathing.

When I never could have imagined that I would call him my husband in the future.

"There he met a beautiful, little doctor. .."

I snickered softly, becoming emotional.

"Like mom?" The girls asked together.

He smiled at them. "Yes, exactly like mom."

"Then what happened?" They asked eagerly.

"Well, since the CEO was unhappy with his life and did not see any good in anything or anyone, he got off on the wrong foot with the kind doctor who only wished well for him. He was mean to her and refused to see the kindness in her..."

I snorted.

"That's not nice." Aydriana frowned.

I laughed softly. "I know, right? Mr. CEO should've had some manners, right, girls?"

They nodded in agreement.

Aiden smiled. "Right... so, initially, the two did not get along, but at some point, fate decided that they were meant to be together. Do you know what happened?"

"What?" They asked keenly.

"A fire breathing dragon came into the picture. He wanted to hurt the sweet, little doctor..."

I laughed while the twins gasped, their eyes wide.

"Did it hurt her?" They asked.

"Nope. The CEO was not going to allow that to happen.

So he took it up to himself to protect the little doctor and while he did, the CEO and the doctor grew closer.

The CEO began trusting her and opened up to her, letting her see all of his pain, and the doctor with her expertise, cured all of his pain. .."

"What happened to the dragon?"

"One day, the CEO got into an intense battle with the dragon and managed to finish him off..."

"So he saved the doctor?"

"Yes, but he wouldn't have been able to do so had the doctor not saved him... for she not only saved his life when he was sick, she also showed him all the colours in the world. Colours he could only see with her... she taught him that life was worth living after all..."

I teared up.

"So, the CEO and the doctor ended up getting married, and then they had two adorable little daughters..."

"Like us?!"

I giggled softly. "Yes, like you."

"Yup, and then the sad, lonely CEO was happy again for he now had a family. So, they lived happily ever after with their little ones. The end."

"I loved this story." Said Aydriana, a huge grin on her face.

"Me too!" Olivia agreed.

"Right? I love this story too." Aiden grinned.

I cleared my throat, propelling myself off of his lap. "Okay, guys. Time for bed."

"Can we sleep with you two tonight, please?" Olivia asked, pouting.

I bit my lip to keep my grin from spreading as I looked at Aiden.

"Pleaseee, dad?" They turned to him.

He pulled them closer, giving them both a kiss each on their little heads. "Yes, of course. Let's change first and brush our teeth, okay?"

"Okay!" They jumped off the bed, hopping towards our bathroom.

Aiden groaned when he looked at me. "Go help them. I'm going to take a cold shower."

I chortled. "You could have told them no."

He looked at me as if I had said something highly offensive. "Nobody tells my little ones no... even if it means that I have to keep it in my pants for the sixth time this week."

I threw my head back, laughing. "By the way, wonderful story."

He grinned. "Right? It's crazy what people go through, no?"

I snickered. "You missed the part where the doctor would find the CEO having intense make out sessions with Luna."

He cringed. "You just had to bring that up, didn't you?"

I shrugged. "They should know everything the poor doctor has had to endure because of the CEO."

He shook his head disappointingly.

"I'm gonna help the girls." I announced, turning towards the bathroom, but he grabbed me, pressing up against me from behind.

He kissed my temple. "The CEO greatly regrets ever even looking at other women. Had he known that a gorgeous, little doctor would walk into his life one day, he would have patiently waited."

I blushed, butterflies taking flight in my stomach.

Giving me a kiss on my cheek, he let me go, and I headed to the bathroom where the twins had managed to change on their own, so I helped them brush their teeth.

Soon, we tucked them into bed between us, and our lively little girls took an eternity to fall asleep. When they did, I began dozing off as well, only to get poked on my shoulder by Aiden.

I looked up at him, shooting him an annoyed look. "What?" I whispered.

"They're asleep." He whispered back.

I shot him a glare. "I can see that!"

"So, let's go to the other room." He muttered.

"For what?"

He gave me a lame look. "For some you and me time."

"Let me sleep." I chastised, closing my eyes.

"Please, Aysel." He urged.

"Good night. Dream of you and me having us time."

"You're going to pay for this."

"Mmm hmm." I hummed sleepily, hearing him let out an exasperated huff before I completely dozed off.

The next morning, the twins woke us up when they tried quietly slipping out of bed.

"Oopsie. We woke you." Aydriana said, watching us sit up in bed.

"That's okay... good morning, my beautiful little girls." Aiden spoke excitedly, getting out of bed and wrapping his big arms around both of them.

I joined in on the hug. "Good morning, my loves! What do you both want for breakfast?"

"Waffles!" They replied together.

I grinned, kissing their cheeks before letting Nina know to prepare breakfast for us.

After breakfast, we sat in the living room together, for both Aiden and I had decided to stay home that day.

The twins sat on the floor, colouring together on a colouring book, while Aiden and I talked on the couch, with every second sentence of his comprising of teasing comments as that was his way of getting back at me for teasing him last night.

"I'm gonna have the girls sleep with us again tonight." I warned him.

"No problem. I'll just carry you to the other room after they fall asleep." He replied smugly.

"I'll scream." I threatened.

"And scare our precious girls? No, you wouldn't." He smirked.

His phone rang, interrupting our little banter.

He groaned. "Can you check it for me please?"

His phone was on the table next to me, so I grabbed it for him.

"It's unknown." I frowned, handing it to him.

He looked at the caller ID, his eyebrows scrunching up.

"Imagine if it's Luna after all these years." I joked.

"You are going to get a harsh punishment if you keep this up." He warned playfully.

I rolled my eyes.

"Come with me. I'll put it on speaker." He said.

I snickered. "It's okay. I trust you. She can't know the male anatomy better than me, can she?"

He smirked, grabbing my hand and pulling me off the couch and out of the living room. I sighed as he attended the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hi there..." a male voice came through.

"Luna, huh?" Aiden mouthed at me.

I bit my lip to keep myself from laughing, shrugging.

"I am coming for you and your family..." the mysterious guy on the other end spoke, wiping the smile off my face.

My wide eyes stared into Aiden's.

"Who are you?!" Aiden demanded.

"You will all die!" The guy threatened.

My heart started palpitating in my chest. It felt like I was spiralling back in time.

Aiden's jaw clenched, and he opened his mouth to speak, only to be cut off by a chorus of laughter from the phone.

"You weren't supposed to laugh, you idiot!" A female voice came through.

"Who the hell are you?" Aiden asked angrily.

"Hey, man, sorry. We were playing truth and dare, and I was dared to dial a random number and threaten the person. It was a joke. Sorry." The guy spoke.

I sighed in relief before frowning and snatching the phone from Aiden. "Are you stupid? Is this something to joke about? You good for nothing, pathetic—"

He hung up before I could continue.

Aiden's jaw relaxed as he let out an irritated sigh.

"The nerve of some people!" I said angrily. "I almost had a heart attack!"

Aiden put an arm around me, kissing my temple and rubbing my upper arm. "It's okay. Relax."

"How do people think it's okay to prank someone like that?!" I said as we walked back to the living room.

He kissed my hand as we sat on the couch. "Relax. Forget about it."

I huffed, deciding to drop the topic and focus on the fact that we were all okay. The sight of my daughters colouring without a care in the world relaxed me.

I cuddled up against Aiden's body. "I don't want anything to happen to them."

"No one in the world can hurt you or our daughters while I'm alive. I promise you." He said firmly, kissing the top of my head.

"Let's go upstairs. Nina can watch the kids." I whispered in Aysel's ear.

Her lips stretched up into a beautiful smile. "What will we do upstairs?"

I smirked. "Exactly what we did that caused our little ones to come into this world."

Crimson painted her cheeks, adding to her already breathtaking beauty. "Okay, if you insist."

I kissed her temple before scooping her up in my arms, starting to carry her to our bedroom after telling Nina to keep an eye on the girls.

Gently lowering her on our bed, I climbed on top, capturing her delicate lips with mine without wasting a second. I kissed her passionately, savouring her taste and revelling in the feel of our bodies perfectly intertwined, as if we were made just for each other. Which we very much were.

Abandoning her lips, I pressed kisses all over her beautiful face that brightened up my darkest nights, making sure to cherish her the way she rightfully deserved.

My lips moved down, ensuring that not an inch of her skin remained untouched and unloved as I undressed her, for she deserved to be loved, honoured and desired thoroughly.

As I removed all of her clothing, I took a moment to appreciate the perfection of her body. Her luscious, smooth skin and every single curve that had me under an unbreakable spell. She was exquisite, a masterpiece carefully crafted by God from head to toe.

Her cheeks tinted pink, her gorgeous breasts moving up and down as she took shallow breaths. Her shy eyes kept avoiding eye contact the longer I gazed at her. It was funny how even after a few years into our marriage and countless intimate moments later, she was so bashful.

I grabbed her chin, making her meet my eyes. "You are so beautiful. From head to toe. You have no idea how beguiled I am by you."

Her cheeks turned a shade darker as more blood rushed to them. I chuckled softly before meeting her lips again, running my hands down her body, eager to feel every inch of it and to worship her body.

———

We joined our daughters in the living room after a long, passionate session in bed, where they showed us what they had coloured.

As we sat admiring their colouring, a loud sound caught us all off guard.

Before I could understand anything, a few men barged into our living room, carrying guns. I scuttled to my feet, fear gripping my heart as deja vu hit me hard.

"Who are you?! What are you doing?!" I demanded, shielding my wife and daughters with my body.

They remained eerily silent, aiming their guns at us, while a few circled around me to aim their weapons at my family.

Fear clutched at my chest as I prepared myself to defend my family at any cost.

My eyes snapped open as I felt something moving beneath me. I realised it was Aiden since I had fallen asleep on him after our passionately steamy session.

I blinked a few times to confirm what I was seeing. He stirred in his sleep, mumbling incoherently. It took me back in time to when I had witnessed him having nightmares about his family's murder.

He had not had a single nightmare in the past few years, so seeing him like that had my heart in a painful chokehold.

"Aiden!" I shook him hard, desperate to get him to wake up. "Wake up please." I urged when he didn't open his eyes.

His scared mumbling continued.

"Aiden!" I grabbed both of his shoulders and shook him hard.

That caused him to sit up, panting heavily. A thin layer of sweat glistened on his forehead.

His panicked eyes met my worried ones.

"It's okay," I assured him softly, rubbing his arms. "Everything's okay."

"Where are the girls?" He inquired desperately.

"Downstairs. They're fine." I assured him.

Pulling his arm out of my hold, he swiftly pushed the covers off of his body and dashed out of the room.

"Aiden!" I called, hurriedly getting out of bed and throwing his shirt and my sweatpants on before running downstairs as well.

My heart swelled as I made it downstairs, seeing Aiden clutching on to our daughters like his life depended on them.

Kissing the tops of their heads, he let them go back to playing with their dolls and came walking up to me.

My heart ached as I saw tears glistening in his eyes.

Catching me by surprise, he enveloped me into a tight embrace, burying his face in my neck. "I had the worst nightmare," his voice broke. "I thought it was all going to happen again. That I would lose my family again."

I rubbed his back. "That will never happen, Aiden. You're not going to lose us."

He pulled back, taking a deep breath.

"This is all because of that stupid phone call," I grumbled. "Those stupid pranksters. May they rot in hell."

He sniffled, taking my hands in his and kissing them. "I love you, Aysel."

I smiled. "I love you too, my big, scary CEO."

He pressed his forehead to mine. "I think you should console me."

"I am consoling you, babe." I said, giving him a kiss on his chest.

"No, I need more. I need at least a hundred kisses to feel better." He said cutely.

I laughed. "I see you're already feeling better."

He embraced me again. "You always make me feel better."

"Well, that is literally my job." I grinned.

A smile broke across his face.

"Now stop worrying. The CEO defeated the dragon, remember? It's all over." I said, rubbing his arm.

He pressed his lips together, nodding. "Aysel?"

"Yes?"

"What do you think about having a round three?"

I gasped, slapping his bare chest lightly. "You're never going to change, are you? We were having an emotional moment."

"Come on." He insisted.

I shook my head. "No, my legs already feel like jelly."

He pouted, turning to glance at our daughters.

"They're so adorable..." he murmured.

"Like me?" I grinned.

He grinned back, pressing his forehead to mine. "Yes, my little one. Like you."

"Daddd." Olivia called for his attention, running up to him with her little legs, with Aydriana following behind to not get left out.

"Yes, my dear?" He asked, scooping both of them up in his arms one by one.

"Can we get new dolls?" They asked simultaneously.

"You guys have so many dolls." I pointed out.

"It's okay. There's no such thing as too many dolls, right?" Aiden spoke gently because he very fondly and frequently spoiled our daughters.

The girls readily nodded in agreement, cheering.

After dinner, Aiden took the girls out to get new dolls while I stayed at home to look through some patients' lab reports and make notes.

When they returned, the girls were over the moon, very enthusiastically entering the house with their father carrying a big bag of toys behind them.

It took forever to get them to sleep, but when they did Aiden and I could not help but stare at our beautiful little girls, sleeping peacefully.

Aiden pulled me into his embrace. "They're my whole world."

"And me?"

"You're my whole universe." He replied, causing my heart to flutter.

"Little one?"

"Yes?"

"We never really got to round three..." he said suggestively.

I shook my head at him. "You never give up, do you?"

"Pretty please? How about just a kiss?" He spoke adorably in my ear.

I giggled, pulling him closer. "Think you can do it without waking the twins up?"

"Challenge accepted." He smirked, putting his lips on mine.
