Chapter Eight #7
Well, he had news for him.
He wasn’t done.
Once more, he began moving, and as he did, his hand was braced behind him on Corbin’s thigh. He felt something beneath it and looked down.
There was a scar there.
A bad one.
Instead of going there, he kept moving, and he stared down into his lover’s eyes.
“One more,” Alex said. “I need one more.”
Corbin laughed.
“It’s like Christmas. My man is going to cum, and make me cum with him. Jingle bells,” he joked.
That made Alex laugh as he started riding him again.
Only, he didn’t get to finish.
Corbin moved, flipping him to his back, and sliding into Alex so they were face-to-face.
The man moaned.
“I think I’d like to take my time and change up the view,” he stated, as he started moving.
And Alex held on.
With his legs over Corbin’s thighs, he was boned good.
“Oh, fuck me,” Alex whispered, as his body was rocked with the invasion. “So big,” he muttered, his body bowing at the angle and the way he felt filled.
At his words, Corbin fought for control, and it certainly wasn’t easy. Sex with Alex was absolutely insane. The man found pleasure in everything they did in bed, and it made Corbin want to pull out all the stops.
When Alex tightened his ass up, it felt so incredibly good that Corbin almost came.
“Baby, killing me,” he admitted.
Alex felt so damn good being under this man. Corbin was hitting that one spot over and over again, and he liked it a lot.
It was beyond erotic.
“So good,” he muttered.
Corbin braced himself over his man.
Fuck!
He was fighting not to take that tumble without Alex, and it wasn’t easy.
It might because of the way Alex moaned as Corbin roughly fucked him. He could feel balls slapping against his ass as the man kept begging for more.
This might just kill him.
“Come on, Baby, jerk off for me,” he said. “I’m close, and I need you to cum with me,” Corbin said, as his lover did just that.
As Corbin took his ass, Alex stroked his erection. He was just as hard as he’d been for the first one, and that was a testament to Corbin’s lovemaking.
“Oh, God!” Alex shouted.
Yeah, he was close.
Between how full he felt with Corbin’s erection throbbing in his ass, and his fingers wrapped around his own dick…
He wasn’t lasting for much longer either. Corbin was going to get his wish.
“I can’t hold on,” Alex whispered. “Too good.”
Oh, Corbin knew.
When you found your perfect match, everything was exceptional, including the sex.
Corbin continued to pound that one spot, and before he knew it, there was the shout of pleasure from his man, and his own balls betraying him.
They came.
And they came hard.
Because it felt like the world tipped, Corbin laid over his man, trying to catch his breath.
Well, holy shit.
He loved his sex life.
When the pleasure abated, that’s when Corbin moved off of Alex’s prone body.
“I love makeup sex,” he muttered, rolling to his side.
Immediately, Alex cuddled into his body, not wanting them not to be in contact with each other. Skin-to-skin was comforting, and special. Cuddling was his new favorite past time.
“Mmmmmm,” Alex whispered, as he basked in the afterglow.
A few minutes went by, and when Corbin kissed him on the temple, Alex was curious.
How’d you get the scar?” he asked.
For a brief second, he felt his body tense, and Alex didn’t know why.
“You don’t have to tell me. I’m sorry if I…”
Corbin placed his fingers over the man’s lips to silence him.
“Once upon a time, I was abducted, and raped. They burned me with a lighter and a skull ring. I have one on the back of my sack too.”
The way he said it…
Alex stared into his eyes.
“Is this a landmine? Because I can back my ass out of this field and give you privacy. Just say the word.”
He was honest.
“It’s not anymore. Once, it was. Once, I couldn’t talk about it. Will had a rough couple of years with me. It stole my whole being, and sidelined me for a while.”
Alex ran his fingers through Corbin’s chest hair to soothe him. While he didn’t sound upset, he knew that had to be a scar on his soul.
How could it not be?
“Is this why you’re not able to…”
Corbin cuddled him.
“Pretty much. My ass has been off limits for most of my life, and then that happened. I’m not one to receive to begin with, but after that...”
Alex was curious.
“Can I see your scar?”
Corbin went there.
“Which one?”
Alex stared into his eyes.
“All of them. I want to see everything that the love of my life carries. Your scars are my scars.”
That touched Corbin. Once upon another time, another man said those same things. That was how Corbin knew he’d gotten lucky a second time.
Or Will had sent him a miracle, just when he was unable to hold on any longer.
Because he wanted no secrets between them, he rolled to his back, giving Alex full access to his body.
With gentle fingers, the man focused on his thigh. Then, he left a kiss on it. The tenderness of that moment touched Corbin in ways he couldn’t articulate.
He’d found a good man.
“I won’t let anyone ever hurt you again,” Alex admitted. “I’ll protect you, Corby.”
His heart skipped.
“I’m good, Alex.”
His lover was honest.
“I’m not. That anyone hurt the man I love makes me incredibly sad. I wish I was there. I would have saved you.”
That was sweet.
Cuddling back down into his body, Corbin held him.
“Did they pay?” he asked.
Corbin nodded.
“They paid dearly.”
Well, then, that made him feel better because the mere idea that his man had been sexually assaulted, and then hurt…
It pissed him off.
“Good, because I was going to find their names, and go after them. I wanted to make them bleed for hurting my one-day husband.”
That made him smile.
“Protective, huh?”
He held onto him.
“Yes. You’d better believe it. You’re my partner, Corbin. I’d take a bullet for you. I’d die for you as just your partner. Imagine what I’d do for you as my husband.”
Tears filled Corbin’s eyes.
That was something he hadn’t heard for a long time.
And he’d missed it.
“Live for me, then,” he said. “With me. Forever.”
Alex nuzzled his chin.
“Absolutely. I promise.”
And truthfully, Alex Bartlett would.
For the first time in Alex’s life, he saw the promise of a brighter day.
Nothing would hurt them going forward.
And once more, Alex Bartlett was wrong. Something could hurt them, and they wouldn’t be able to stop it.
