Chapter 18

Eighteen

Peri almost wanted to tell him that he’d never been able to last being edged, but he bit his tongue, too horny and eager for whatever Wash wanted to give him to argue with the man.

When Wash dragged his head down, rubbing his crown against Peri’s swollen lips, Peri moaned and squirmed, his hands flexing in a bid to keep them to himself.

He wanted to be good for Wash, to make up for distracting him during his discussion with Vilyra.

He’d only done it because Wash made such a grumpy sound about the corporate retreat after Peri had already promised to distract him and seeing Wash’s cock kick in response to his touches had gone to his head.

His horny brain got a little reckless, and he wanted to see how far he could go before Wash stopped him.

Answer? He didn’t. Which was so sexy, Peri wanted to come just thinking about it.

“Open up,” Wash growled, and Peri felt another bead of precum escape him.

He parted his lips, eyes fluttering a little as Wash rubbed his cock over Peri’s tongue without shoving it inside.

When he tried to wrap his lips around him to suck, Wash drew back, only allowing Peri to take him at the pace Wash wanted to go.

Why was that so hot?

Peri was squirming by the time Wash pushed into his mouth. His thrusts were slow, measured, and when he sank deeper and Peri only moaned in response, he let out a harsh breath.

“Do you not have a gag reflex?”

Instead of answering with words, which would be silly with Wash’s dick in his mouth, he demonstrated instead, relaxing his throat and taking Wash all the way inside.

“Ungh… Peri…”

Sometimes it felt weird to feel proud of something like this, but it was moments like these, where he could drive his partner absolutely crazy with so little effort on his part, where he felt as smug as a psychic playing poker.

He swallowed Wash down over and over, reveling in the once-grouchy demon’s shouts of pleasure as he writhed in his chair.

Maybe, if he blew his mind enough, he’d forget about the edging thing and punish Peri in more fun ways.

A string of curses left Wash’s lips, and his hands tightened in Peri’s hair. “You’re gonna get me there, sweetheart.”

Peri’s eyes fluttered a little at the term of endearment.

He loved pet names. They made him feel special, coveted, and hearing them from Wash was like a special reward.

He redoubled his efforts, bobbing his head and sucking hard.

Wash’s back arched, choking on a groan, and his cock kicked as he came with a silent shout.

Peri jerked his head back, wanting to taste him, and the minute Wash’s release hit his tongue, that tingly feeling that had been buzzing under his skin since they started exploded, sending him over the edge completely untouched.

Embarrassment made him want to hide his face, and he buried it in Wash’s hoodie after the demon’s cock slipped from his lips.

It wasn’t the first time he came untouched just by getting his partners off, but it was usually when said partners started taking a closer look at his…

enthusiasm like there was something wrong with him.

He didn't want that with Wash, he wanted to hold out like Wash had asked. He couldn’t help himself.

“Peri?” Wash’s voice was soft, and his touch was gentle when he ran his claws through Peri’s hair. “Did I hurt you?”

Peri shook his head without looking up, hugging Wash’s middle to keep his face buried. Maybe Wash wouldn’t notice. He could whisper a cleaning spell, hide the evidence and–

He yelped as Wash scooped him under the armpits and pulled him into his lap.

He paid no mind to the state either of them were in, cupping Peri’s face and forcing him to make eye contact as he said, “If you’re this upset after sex, I have to assume I did something wrong.

Your comfort matters, Peri. Tell me what I did so I can fix it. ”

“No, no, you didn’t do anything!” Peri insisted, clutching Wash’s hoodie in his fists. He felt the burn of embarrassment in his ears, and he had to squeeze his eyes shut to admit, “I-I was trying to be good, to wait like you asked, but…”

“Did you enjoy it?”

It wasn’t the question Peri expected, and he blinked his eyes open to look at Wash again. “What? Of course I did.”

Wash raised an eyebrow at him. “Then why would I be mad?”

Before Peri could point out again that he’d asked him to wait, Wash continued.

“The demand before was only play, Peri. And if it doesn’t work for you, then we readjust and move on.

You’re not going to find me complaining that you enjoyed what we were doing so much that you came. That would defeat the purpose.”

With a whimper, Peri buried his face against Wash’s neck, letting out a sigh of relief when Wash wrapped his arms around him. He wasn’t usually so insecure about sex, but with Wash… he wanted things to work out. He didn’t want things to end the same way they did with his exes.

“How are your wings? I didn’t need you to hide like that, you know. I could have just teleported us.”

Peri froze for a long moment, and he jerked back, mouth gaped open. “I totally forgot about that. I just reacted.”

Wash chuckled, running his hands up Peri’s thighs in a soothing motion. “You disappeared so fast, I couldn’t grab you before she already saw me. Next time just jump into my lap, and I’ll teleport us to your place instead.”

“Next time?” Peri grinned, tossing his arms around Wash’s neck.

He’d honestly thought messing around in the office would be a one and done thing.

You know, besides the first time. Peri pursed his lips thoughtfully.

Actually, they did hook up a lot here. Either they started here or Wash got him off at least once before teleporting them back to Peri’s place.

Maybe he needed to adjust his expectations.

“I’m not encouraging you to suck me off while someone else is in here,” Wash smirked. “We were lucky it was Vilyra. If it had been Ozen, he would have known right away.”

Peri giggled. “I promise not to touch if the CEO comes to visit then.”

Wash rolled his eyes. “I work with Taron, you know. I know exactly what it means when brats get specific like that. You’re saying it like that on purpose so you can get away with it if someone else comes in.

And as much as I enjoyed it, I’d rather keep you all to myself.

No more sucking me off if another person is in the same room with us. ”

Pouting, Peri reluctantly agreed. He wasn’t normally so reckless, at least not at the office. There was just something about Wash that riled him up.

“Come on.” Wash encouraged him to stand, and they righted their clothes and cleaned up before Wash offered his hand to teleport them. Peri bounced closer, plastering himself against Wash’s side, and beamed up at him.

“Does this mean I’m not going to get punished anymore?”

“Oh, no, that’s still happening. But I’m going to feed you first and email Taron that I’m bringing you along to the retreat.”

“And after?” he asked breathlessly.

Wash’s smirk was all wicked intention, and Peri felt his stomach flip with anticipation.

“You’ll see.”

Peri was starting to believe Wash when he said he could keep up with his needs.

His demon spent the entire night wearing Peri out until his limbs turned into cooked noodles, and his body throbbed from the multiple orgasms coursing through his system.

Peri had never been so well taken care of in his life.

Stretching, he fluttered his wings with a sigh.

Wash had checked more than once to make sure Peri’s wings hadn’t gotten strained or bruised when he hid under the desk.

Thankfully, Peri had tucked them quickly enough and he was small enough to hide under the desk without damaging them.

It got frustrating sometimes, having such a fragile piece of himself so out in the open, but he loved how much Wash cared.

A few of his exes thought they were an inconvenience and complained when he wouldn’t let them fuck him on his back or with his back against a wall.

There were plenty of other positions, but it bothered some of them that they had to limit themselves even a little bit.

Wash didn’t seem to mind. If anything, he just got more creative to make sure Peri was comfortable while still having fun with it.

Remembering the night before when he’d picked Peri up like he weighed nothing and fucked him without being pressed against anything at all had been a fun surprise.

His phone buzzed, and he finally opened his eyes, reaching for where it was plugged in on his nightstand. He didn’t remember doing that and a smile stretched across his face realizing it must have been Wash.

That does it. Peri was keeping him.

“Hello?” he murmured into the phone, the smile still stretched across his face.

“Good morning, sunshine!” Taron exclaimed. “A little birdy tells me you’re joining us on our retreat today. Is it safe to assume you’ve got our grumpy demon well in hand?”

Peri hummed sleepily. “He asked me to go with him. I figured I could make sure he had a fun time. He seemed convinced it’d be awful for some reason.”

He could hear the indignation in Taron’s voice as he went on a rant about how Wash could be so cruel and how he was only looking out for him and trying to get him to relax more.

Peri wholeheartedly agreed, he wanted Wash to relax too, but Taron was going about it the wrong way if he was only making Wash grumpy instead of relaxed.

“What’s the plan? Maybe I can spin it so he’ll look forward to it.”

Anything to make Wash happy.

“There isn’t anything you can say that can make me look forward to an event planned by Taron,” Wash grumbled.

Peri sat up in a rush, already beaming as he twisted toward his doorway to find Wash standing there with coffee cups in his hand and a sour expression on his face.

He stomped into the room, putting the cups on the nightstand as he smacked a kiss on Peri’s lips and used the distraction to snatch the phone away.

He put it to his ear, his face twisting in confusion as he heard whatever Taron had been in the middle of saying.

“Wait, hold on. There’s no way you got SR approval for that.

” He paused, running his fingers through Peri’s hair as he listened to Taron’s explanation.

“It’s a company retreat, that’s why. You need SR’s approval.

No, I’m not just– You know what, fine. Go ahead and plan it.

Remind me, how many SR reps are going to be there for this thing? ”

Peri ignored the conversation, melting into Wash’s touch as he leaned against him and sipped the coffee Wash handed him.

It was sweet, with chocolate and caramel in it.

It was like sipping candy first thing in the morning, and Peri wanted to hoard the drink and inhale it at the same time. It was that good.

“If we must,” Wash grumbled. “But I’m not arriving there a minute before I have to.” He listened for another second, then Peri noticed Wash stiffen and sat up with a frown.

“What’s wrong?”

The doorbell rang, and Wash’s head turned slowly in that direction, eyes wide with horror. “Taron, you better be lying.”

“About what?” Peri asked again, snagging a robe and pulling it over his shoulders as he followed Wash out of his room and to the door. When he threw it open, Taron was standing on the other side, a beaming grin on his face and his phone still pressed to his ear.

“Well, this is a fun surprise. Did you come over early, or did you have a sleepover and I wasn’t invited?” Taron teased.

“What are you doing here?” Wash growled, hanging up the phone and ignoring Taron’s question.

Taron shrugged. “I’m here to give Peri a ride. I figured if I kidnapped him, you’d have to come along. And look! I was right. Now let’s go, people! We’ve got a retreat to get to!”
