Let the fun begin.
Nikolai strides into my office. “We have one of the MC men in the basement as requested,” he tells me point blank, no inflection in his tone.
A deep sense of pleasure and anticipation fills me. “Good. I’ll be down shortly. And the women and children?”
“All alive, according to the rat,” Nikolai answers. “But Athena Sutton has been injured.”
“Even better. That means she’ll be easy to take. For now, though, I’ll be down to see to our guest as soon as I’ve finished. Tell our men to be ready on my order, because I want those whores and brats dead.” Nikolai nods and leaves the room.
Finally, things are looking up. It’s time to find out just what information the Devil’s Soldiers know and what better way than to get it straight from a source. And when I’m done, I’ll send him back in pieces to them, to remind them just what awaits them all by the time we’re finished.
