The Djinn’s Wish Waylon #6

I looked down at the lamp in my hand, then back up at the magnificent being before me. “One wish? That’s it? No catches? No tricks?”

Azir threw his head back and laughed, a sound like distant thunder. “So suspicious! The humans of this age are all the same.” His expression softened slightly. “No tricks, Waylon. One wish, freely given, with no strings attached.”

“You know my name,” I said, surprised.

“I know many things about you,” Azir replied, trailing a blue finger along my shoulder.

His touch left a trail of tingling warmth on my skin.

“I know you fix what others break. I know you seek pleasure without attachment. I know you run from something in your past.” His glowing eyes met mine.

“But most importantly, I know what you truly desire, even if you yourself do not.”

I shivered despite the warm water. “And what’s that?”

“Ah,” Azir’s smile widened. “That would be telling. The wish must come from you, not from my suggestion.”

My mind raced with possibilities. Money? Power? Fame? I could ask for anything. Immortality? Perfect health? The ability to control the supernatural? The options were endless, overwhelming.

“Take your time,” Azir said, as if reading my thoughts. He reclined in mid-air, lounging on nothing as if it were the most comfortable chaise lounge. “I have waited centuries in that lamp. A few more minutes won’t matter.”

“How did you end up in there anyway?” I asked, curiosity temporarily overriding my shock.

Azir’s expression darkened momentarily. “A tale for another time, perhaps. Let’s just say I angered someone I shouldn’t have.” He waved his hand dismissively. “But now, thanks to you, I am free. At least until I fulfill your wish and must return to my vessel.”

I waded to the edge of the pool and sat on the stone rim, the lamp still warm in my hand. This was too much to process. A real djinn offering me one wish, anything I wanted... It felt like a dream or a hallucination. Had Brad really set all this up? Talk about a hellacious tip.

“How do I know this is real?” I asked.

Azir sighed dramatically. “Humans and their need for proof.” He snapped his fingers, and suddenly the room transformed.

The walls fell away to reveal a vast desert under a night sky filled with more stars than I had ever seen.

I could feel the cool desert air on my skin, hear the distant howl of a wolf, smell the dry sand and exotic spices.

Then, just as suddenly, we were back in the steam-filled room.

“Convinced?” Azir asked, looking smug.

I nodded, slightly dazed. “Yeah, that’ll do it.”

“Good. Now, about your wish...”

I thought about what I truly wanted. Money would be nice, but it wouldn’t solve everything. Power came with responsibility I wasn’t sure I wanted. Immortality seemed lonely.

“Can I wish for more wishes?” I asked with a half-smile.

Azir rolled his eyes. “Every human asks that. No, you cannot. One wish only.”

“Worth a shot,” I shrugged.

As I sat there contemplating, I realized there was something I wanted more than anything else. Something I’d been missing my entire life without fully acknowledging it.

“I think...” I began slowly, “I think it would be great to find someone who truly understands me. Someone I can connect with on every level. Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.” The words surprised me as they left my mouth, but they felt right.

Azir’s eyes widened slightly, as if he hadn’t expected this particular wish. Then his expression softened into something almost like respect.

“An unusual wish,” he said quietly. “Most humans ask for wealth or power or revenge. Few ask for connection.” He floated closer until he was directly in front of me. “Are you certain this is what you desire above all else? If it is, you must say it properly.”

I paused for a moment, suddenly self-conscious. “Wait…” I said, holding up a hand. “I have a question first.”

“Of course,” he nodded. “Ask your question.”

I looked up into those glowing eyes of his that were so beautiful and mischievous. “What would you wish for?”

Azir’s smile faded. “I dare not say.”

“Please,” I insisted. “I want to know.”

He stared at me for a long moment, his eyes darting between mine. “Freedom,” he said at last. “To be free of this lamp. That is what I would wish for.”

It was my turn to stare at him, his words hanging in the air between us. Freedom. Of course that’s what he would want. What being wouldn’t want to be free of their prison?

“Then that’s what I wish for,” I said firmly, feeling like it was the only right thing to do. “I wish for your freedom, Azir.”

The lamp grew scalding hot in my hand. I yelped and dropped it into the water where it sizzled and steamed. Azir’s eyes widened in shock, his mouth falling open.

“You... you wish for my freedom? Not your own happiness or wealth or power?” His voice trembled slightly, as if he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Yes,” I nodded. “I wish for you to be free of that lamp forever.”

The water around us began to churn and bubble violently.

The golden symbols on the walls glowed with increasing intensity until they were almost too bright to look at.

Azir threw his head back, his spine arching as tendrils of golden light erupted from his chest. His golden bracelets shattered, the pieces dissolving into sparks that swirled around us like fireflies.

A deafening crack split the air, and the lamp beneath the water broke into countless fragments that dissolved instantly. The water turned gold, then blue, then clear again.

When the chaos subsided, Azir stood before me, no longer floating, but standing in the pool, the water lapping at his thighs just as it did mine. He looked down at his hands in wonder, turning them over as if seeing them for the first time.

“Free,” he whispered. “After three thousand years... I am free.”

His eyes met mine, and the intensity in them made my breath catch. In a flash, he closed the distance between us, his powerful hands gripping my shoulders.

“Do you understand what you’ve done?” he asked, his face inches from mine. “Do you comprehend the gift you’ve given me?”

I swallowed hard, suddenly aware of how vulnerable I was. “I think so.”

“No human has ever...” He shook his head, seemingly at a loss for words. “In all my centuries, no one has ever used their wish to free me. They always want something for themselves.”

“Well, I guess I’m not like most people then,” I said with a small shrug.

Azir laughed, a sound of pure joy that reverberated through the chamber. “No, Waylon. You certainly are not.”

His hands slid from my shoulders to cup my face.

“I am in your debt, a debt I can never fully repay. But I will try.” His thumbs stroked my cheekbones gently.

“Allow me to show you pleasures unknown to mortals. Let me give you ecstasy beyond your wildest dreams. Let me show you what I’ve perfected over the last three thousand years. ”

Before I could respond, his lips were on mine. The kiss was electric, sending shockwaves of pleasure through my entire body. His mouth was hot, impossibly hot, yet it didn’t burn. It felt like drinking liquid fire that warmed me from the inside out.

I moaned against his lips, my hands finding purchase on his broad chest. His skin was smooth and firm, radiating heat like a furnace. As my fingers explored the ridges of his muscles, I felt a vibration beneath my touch, a strange power contained within physical form.

Azir’s tongue slipped past my lips, tasting of exotic spices and something otherworldly that defied description. As our tongues danced, I felt my consciousness expanding, as if the kiss was opening doors in my mind I never knew existed.

Images flashed behind my closed eyelids. I saw ancient temples, desert nights, bodies writhing in pleasure by firelight, and civilizations rising and falling like the tides. Thousands of years of memories, of experiences, of pleasures given and received.

When we finally broke apart, I was gasping for breath, my cock achingly hard. Azir’s eyes glowed brighter than before, and his smile was predatory.

“That was just a taste,” he promised, his voice deeper, richer somehow. “A mere appetizer before the feast.”

His hands slid down my body, leaving trails of tingling sensation wherever they touched.

When his fingers wrapped around my cock, I nearly came on the spot.

His touch was unlike anything I’d ever felt.

It was warm and cool at the same time, firm yet impossibly gentle, as if he knew exactly how much pressure to apply to drive me wild without pushing me over the edge.

“Azir,” I gasped, my hips jerking involuntarily.

“Yes?” he purred, stroking me with maddening slowness. “Tell me what you desire, my savior. Tell me how to please you.”

“I... I want to feel you,” I managed to say between ragged breaths. “All of you.”

His smile widened. “As you wish.”

In one fluid motion, he lifted me out of the water as if I weighed nothing. He carried me to a large cushioned platform that had appeared along one wall, a bed that hadn’t been there moments before. He laid me down gently on silk sheets that felt cool against my heated skin.

Azir stood at the foot of the bed, magnificent in his naked glory. His blue skin glistened with droplets of water that caught the light like diamonds. His cock stood proud and thick, the gold ring at its tip gleaming enticingly.

“For three thousand years, I have given pleasure at the command of others,” he said, his voice resonating with power. “Tonight, I give it freely, by my choice, to the one who set me free.”

He crawled onto the bed with the grace of a predator, his movements fluid and purposeful. He hovered over me, his larger frame making me feel deliciously small beneath him. His eyes roamed my body with undisguised hunger.
