Chapter 32 Turning Over The Criminals To The Police

When she called the police, Kendall had already given the dispatcher the route she would be taking and the license plate number of the small van.

When Kendall and the others saw the police cars, the police who had come to the rescue also spotted the van Kendall was driving. The police cars stopped on one side, and the ambulance followed closely behind.

Kendall adjusted her hat, opened the car door, and nimbly jumped out. Kendall opened the back door of the van and said to the doctors and nurses who had gotten out of the ambulance, "The patients are here!"

A nurse immediately bent down and got into the car to check on the two children.

The police officers also got out of their cars and quickly came over. Their eyes were on Kendall. "Did you call the police?" They couldn't help but ask.

Kendall looked too young. Even though she was wearing a mask and a hat, they could still feel her youthful and bright aura. She looked like a college student.

According to the information Kendall had given them, the traffickers were two grown men! How could a small girl like her escape from such a dangerous situation and defeat two grown men on her own?

"Yes," Kendall nodded.

"Captain Edward, look!" a young police officer standing behind him suddenly raised his hand and pointed at the roof of the van. The unconscious Joe and John were tied tightly to the roof, as if they were being taken to a funeral.

Edward: "..."

Edward, who was about to ask where the two traffickers were, was speechless. He looked at the roof and then at Kendall. He looked surprised. "You did this, too?"

Kendall pursed her lips and nodded sheepishly, giving him a righteous reason for her actions.

"They're too big. Putting them in the back of the van would take up too much space and scare the girls sitting in the back. It's not a good idea."

Edward: "..."

Edward didn't know what to say. It sounded like her reasoning was sound. The other young police officers standing behind him had also never seen such a strange sight. They looked like they wanted to laugh but were holding back.

Edward raised his hand and said to the other police officers, "Let's get them down first."

Although Kendall's actions were satisfying, it wasn't right to keep them tied to the roof. It was a good thing they weren't in the city, or it would have scared the people who saw it. It was the 21st century, and no one paraded criminals around anymore.

Several officers climbed onto the roof and untied Joe and John.

Edward stood on the side and asked Kendall some questions. A police recorder followed him with a camera. They were not malicious and were only asking her questions for the record.

In just one week, Kendall had already had two experiences giving a police statement. She answered Edward's questions with ease.

In the end, Kendall even asked with concern, "Did you catch the old lady at Ruby Road? She was the one who drugged me."

"She has been caught. As we were on our way to meet you, our colleagues also quickly responded and arrived at the location you provided to arrest the suspect," Edward said.

Kendall was slightly relieved. To make her vulnerable victim act look realistic, she had deliberately let Helen find her phone, camera, and tablet, making them believe she was a genuine target. In just one night, Helen probably hadn't had the time to sell them all.

Mike twisted the throttle and drove his motorcycle at top speed.

After chasing for a while, he finally saw the small van blocked by police cars not far from the village entrance!

Mike was happy. He hadn't expected the police to arrive so quickly!

They were amazing!

He looked closer and saw that even an ambulance had arrived!

They were so thoughtful and thorough!

With such timely rescue, the two people on the roof should be okay, right?

Mike rode his motorcycle and arrived in front of everyone in no time.
