SUJIT

S tepping toward her, I pinned her to the wall. Everything I had been waiting for in life was within my reach. She was the fire I needed, and I didn’t even know it.

Aarti’s lips parted and her eyes glimmered with desire as I gazed at her intensely. I ran a firm thumb over her lower lip and watched her tremble against me.

Placing my hands on the wall, I caged her between them. “Now, I need to know how far you want to take this tonight,” I said, bringing my hand to her waist. “Because once I start, I’m not inclined to stop—until you ask me to.”

A shuddered gasp met my question, and I ran my hand down from her waist to let it rest on her hip. “Tell me. How far should I go tonight?

She curved her index finger and beckoned me. I drew closer until my nose brushed with hers. “I want you to stop only when you’ve filled me up completely and I’m dripping down my thighs,” she whispered against my lips.

My cock came alive at her words. At the visual. “If you keep saying such things, I’ll have to keep doing it over and over again, my sweet girl,” I threatened.

“I want you to,” came her trembling words. “I want you to fuck me over and over and over again until I can barely walk. I want to be devastated, Sujit. I want to be devastated by you.”

I stepped back. My body was burning up. I ran my fingers through my hair. “Damn, Aarti!”

She leaned in. “You’re not the only one who’s hungry,” she whispered in my ear. “I’ve been starving, and you’re the only thing that can satiate me.”

“I’ve been waiting for this moment for an eternity, Aarti Bhatia.”

I moved closer and breathed on her lips.

They parted, and she panted with need. Her hands clasped into fists at her sides.

Gently, I placed my mouth on hers. Her plush, warm petals felt perfect between my lips.

She tasted like sunshine and happiness on a cold, dreary winter night.

I tugged at her lower lip and allowed it to fill my mouth.

A moan escaped her, and her patience broke.

When she pushed her tongue in, I held her shoulders and let her kiss me with the ferocity of a wild cat.

Then I pushed her deeper against the wall and crushed her gently with my weight.

With her hands on my chest, she bought just enough space for me to flick the robe off her shoulders. As the garment dropped to the floor, I pounced on her again.

“You know, I was always a gentle lover,” I said against her cheek.

“Was?” Her lips curved into a smirk.

“Until I met you. You are fire, and I run to you like moth to a candle, knowing full well it means my obliteration. But I can’t help it. I want to burst in your flames.”

“Ah, poetry! It’s prettier in Urdu.”

“Yeah? Tell me.” I gripped the string of her nightie in my teeth and tugged it down her shoulder.

Her breath caught, and she waited with anticipation. Her bare shoulder was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. I placed my lips upon it with reverence.

“Don’t get distracted, sweet girl.”

With a choppy breath, she said, “Candle is called shamaa…moth is parwaanaa.” A gasp as I slid my hand up her thigh, lingering at her hip.

With my eyes on her, I whispered, “That’s beautiful, lyrical. Tell me what happens when the parwaanaa flies close to the shamaa.”

The warmth of my words sent another shiver rippling across her body. Her skin came alive with goosebumps. My fingers felt the string of her slight underclothes, and I hooked a finger into it. “Go on, tell me what happens when my moth flies into your flame.”

I reached down to kiss the swell of her breast, and she threw her head back in a sigh and fisted my hair.

Her breath shuddered. “The flame says, don’t come near me, you stupid moth. You’re going to burn. You’ll die.”

I gathered her hair and kissed her neck. “But the moth doesn’t heed, does he?”

With another broken breath, she shook her head. “The stubborn Parwaanaa responds, I’ll die for my love, become one with the flame.”

“Romantic, but stupid.”

“Yeah? What would you do?”

“I’d kiss the flame, just enough to let her know what she’d miss if she engulfed me. Tease her, torment her.” I placed a tender kiss on her lips, just a graze. Then moved my mouth to her chest and neck and jaw, while my hand moved to her bottom. She shuddered.

“You think that’ll work?”

I brought my eyes back to her face. “No, it’ll never work. If she stops being a flame, he’ll not be attracted to her. He can never dull her brilliance, her power, for that’s what makes her who she is, what she is. That fire is what attracts him to her.”

She stared into my eyes for a few seconds, then kissed me like it was our first kiss. Hunger, passion, and anticipation in a single touch. When I tried to remove my glasses, she held my hand.

“No!” she cried urgently. “Keep them on.”

“Is that what you like?”

With downcast eyes, she returned a shy nod. “Whenever you look at me from over the rim of your glasses, I find myself dripping wet.”

My heart rumbled. “How about we test that theory?” I teased.

Peering over my glasses had been an old habit. But no more. From here on, this was for Aarti alone. I looked at her like she wanted me to.

“Is it working?” I said, running my hand along her inner thigh. She sighed aloud. I inched my fingers toward her panties. She readily parted her legs for me.

“Check for yourself,” she offered.

I moved the delicate fabric aside and ran my finger between the perfectly swollen lips. I didn’t have to venture too far. She was dripping, alright.

“Fuck, Aarti! You wanted me to devastate you, but I’m going to be the one to end up devastated.”

A proud smile illuminated her face, and she clamped her legs closed around my hand. With sighs and moans, she gyrated her hips, grinding on my finger.

“I never thought I’d be this needy, Sujit. What have you done to me?”

“My question exactly, sweet girl. What have you done to me? Do you have any idea what effect you have on me?”

She rubbed her hand on the front of my trousers, feeling my hardened cock against her palm, and giggled. “I think I’m getting an idea.”

Yanking my hand out from between her legs with urgent need, she pulled off my jacket and shirt to fling them away.

Her fingers began to trace every inch of my torso, setting my skin ablaze.

Sighs and hisses escaped my mouth as her lips landed on my neck.

I gripped her shoulders to ground myself when her soft kisses caressed my chest and all the way to my abdomen.

My muscles tensed as her soft palm cupped the strong bulge.

I threw my head back as she gave it repeated gentle squeezes.

It was getting harder and unbearable in my skin.

My legs struggled to find their strength.

I gripped her hand and brought it back to my chest.

“Have some mercy, my darling,” I pleaded, fisting her hair tenderly.

It was impossible to keep my eyes off her face.

They roved in worship, admiring her every flawless feature.

Her seductive lips, their wide curve crowned with the most perfect bow.

Her smooth skin and that beauty mark that I could kiss for life.

The strong cut of her jaw and chin. The powerful eyes with the most brilliant deep browns I had ever seen.

She could kill you with those eyes. Nothing I had ever imagined or dreamed about could come close to having her in my arms like this.

She was the epitome of power and grace. A goddess. A queen.

“It was you,” I whispered against her cheek before placing a light kiss on her beauty mark. “It was you I dreamt of that day at the beach. You were responsible for my condition that evening.”

A surprised gasp escaped her lips. She held my face between her hands. “I need to tell you something, Sujit. I…I feel so helpless, and I don’t want to be left looking like a fool again.”

As her hands dropped to her side, I stepped back to give her the space she needed. I lifted her chin with my finger. “You know you can tell me anything, sweet girl.”

“I said I liked you…a lot. But…that’s not the whole truth.”

My brows furrowed in confusion.

“I think I’m in love with you.”

My hand dropped as my frown deepened, and she got a look on her face like she had just made the biggest mistake of her life.

“ Think ?” I prodded. “So you aren’t sure?”

She blinked. “I am sure.” The words that came out were tentative.

“I thought you didn’t believe in love and rosy endings?” I continued my sweet torture.

She saw the jest behind my serious facade and rolled her eyes. “I didn’t. Then I met a hopeless romantic who changed my worldview.”

“Is that right?” I said and gripped her earlobe between my teeth.

“Sujit,” she said, putting her hand on my chest. “You aren’t bothered by it, are you? This is no longer a what-if situation. It’s a what-now one.”

I smiled. “We don’t have to worry about what-now because I know exactly what’s going to happen next.”

“What’s that?”

“We are going to say fuck-you to the world and live happily ever after because I’m absolutely, positively, life-threateningly in love with you.”

She brought her hands around my nape and pulled me in for the most rapacious kiss I could have ever imagined.

My breaths came in short huffs, my hands incapable of deciding where to rest.

“Bedroom. Now,” she ordered, and I pounced on her mouth again. Her breath was alluring and reassuring. Her touch, both fire and its salve.

She held my hand and rushed us to the bedroom.

At the edge of the bed, she dropped the nightie down her glorious body and stood before me.

The dark red rubies gleamed with pride on those mounds of gold.

She brought my mouth over them, one after the other, and sighed as I licked and nipped at her nipples.

They were so tight and felt so right in my mouth.

As if they were made for me. I wanted more of her. All of her.

“Let me taste you, sweet girl,” I said, and her face flushed.

She slipped up the bed and opened her thighs very slightly. Reluctantly.
