Amick

The last thing I mean to do is sound insensitive, but today has been so relieving.

I’m elated to be back in a routine.

I got so much work done.

All the Attendants who came from the Goddess of Seduction’s home have been processed, but I won’t be doing interviews with them until they go through extensive healing with Iric and other healers.

There are a few who can aid in an emotional capacity such as he can, but none who meet his level of care, sensitivity, and understanding.

When I checked on him today, he told me he may need Creed’s help. He can’t be sure, but there’s a possibility even their souls may be damaged from the repeated destruction of the faux connections my mother forged.

Disgusting.

I found it utterly repulsive when Thayla shared that information with us, but actually laying my eyes on the afflicted Attendants was a true punch in the gut.

How can a being created to bring life and abundance in this realm be so…destructive?

My body shivers at the thought of her and I lift my pen from my parchment so I don’t spread the ink.

There are countless texts I wasn’t supposed to take but still did from the Athenaeum.

I’m currently sifting through them and attempting to document any mention of when the Beginning Gods may have used their Bindings.

So far, no luck, but I will push on.

Other than checking on Iric in my breaks from profiling the Attendants, I also reported in with Doren and Nero. Both seemed happy enough in their new roles.

Nero didn’t express it, but I’m sure the pointless squabbles of the Godsdawn gods are mediocre compared to those in Valveilious. I think with time, he’ll appreciate the mundane.

Doren was just thrilled to be useful. He’s now in charge of hunting down locations for rumored relics, history, and other artifacts that may be scattered among the Godsdawn and Godsden.

Let’s hope he discovers a Binding just lying around.

My pun pulls a small chuckle from my chest. The last thing I was expecting was another to respond to it.

My gaze whips up, and Thayla’s smiling face greets me.

“That was adorable.”

I fight back my lips’ desire to curve into a smirk.

“I didn’t hear you sneak in here.”

“I didn’t sneak. I walked in and happily announced myself. You didn’t take your eyes from the parchment.”

I glance down at the piece of paper detailing everything Creed shared with me about his trip and conversation to Hellveilious today.

All positive notes, might I add.

“I’m sorry. I was distracted with my thoughts of the day, and going over everything Creed shared at dinner.”

She hums as she takes a seat.

“Him getting on a better foot with Phoelius, Barir, and Zareb did make you happy. Also, them agreeing to keep a close eye on Delun pleased him. The moment the conversation and dinner ended, you scurried on in here.”

“I most certainly did not scurry.”

Those teasing, tempting lips of hers pucker together.

“What else have you been working on?” she asks.

“Well, now that he’s officially agreed to go down to Hellveilious more often, I decided to get a jump start on a rotation for him.

I believe once every two weeks visiting the Soul Chamber is more than adequate and we each can fit that in our rotations.

If something pressing comes up, then any three of them can reach out.

He’ll need to make a spare trip there sooner rather than later to get a feel for any pure souls who are there but shouldn’t be. Next—”

“Amick,” she says, reaching across the desk and gripping my hand. “I know you’re trying to help him, and he will appreciate your help, but let’s maybe let him ask for the help, okay?”

“He’ll never ask on his own.”

“He might. He needs to get used to his newest ability first, and managing Hell is something he needs to do for himself. We just need to be there to support him the whole way through.”

I sigh as she pins me in place with those understanding eyes of hers.

“I just wanted to help.”

“And you are. File your notes away and once he grows frustrated or pissed off, you’ll have them ready.”

I contemplate that for a moment. “That’s very true. Given his track record for losing his patience, it won’t take long.”

She bites back a snort as I do as she advised and file my parchment in my drawer. Then I pull out a clean, fresh one.

“Another one? Really? You realize you’ve been in here for ages, right?”

“It’s not been ages. A couple of hours max.”

“Well, how long do you think it’ll take you to work on whatever you’re about to work on?”

“I’m not sure. As long as it takes, I suppose, or until you tell me to come to bed.”

Her eyes trace me in a way that makes my back straighten a little bit.

“Very well,” she finally says as she pushes out her chair and rounds my desk.

She pulls my chair out just enough to where she can squeeze between my knees, then she lowers herself to the ground.

“What are you doing?” I ask as she scoots underneath my desk.

“You focus on your work. I’ll focus on you.”

My brows draw together until her hands find their way to my pants, and my eyes fly open.

“Thayla.”

“Can you not multitask, God of Knowledge?”

Multitasking is not my issue.

Having her touch me while attempting to think straight is.

A hiss tears from my lips the second she frees me from the confines of my pants. In a second flat, I’m painfully hard for her.

“Get to work,” she commands.

Her breath fans across my flesh and a shiver races down my spine. The moment her warm mouth wraps around me, my pen falls on my parchment.

“No, sir. This is the agreement. You work, I enjoy myself.”

“Y-you.” My teeth clench together as I force my stutter away. It takes considerable will to keep my eyes open. “You enjoy doing this to me?”

“Very much. I love bringing you pleasure as much as you love providing it for me.”

Valories.

Get it together.

As she said, you are the God of Knowledge.

You most certainly can handle doodling a few notes while your Binder sucks your soul out of you.

As if she sensed the second I resolved myself and picked the pointless writing tool back up, she takes every inch of me in, gagging around me.

It doesn’t slow her down, nor does it stop her.

My grip tightens around my pen to the point I’m surprised it doesn’t snap in half while my other hand crumbles the parchment in front of me. The low moans in the back of her throat vibrate down the length of me and settle inside my bones.

My breathing deepens as she picks up her pace and her soul flows across mine. Every bob of her head has me inching closer to my release.

The little anomaly has way too much faith in my capabilities.

There will never be a moment in this lifetime when anything can hold my attention more than she can.

Especially not when she’s in my bedroom, on her knees under my desk, and blessing me with one of the greatest forms of pleasure in the realm.

My head tilts back and my hand tangles in her hair. Not to guide her. She doesn’t need that. I need stability while I lose myself to her.

“Is Thayla still in here?”

My lower stomach tightens and a prayer of her name rips from my mouth as my release roars through me.

“Yep. She’s in here.”

Kyzen’s voice is nothing but muffled nonsense in my ears as Thayla slowly drags her mouth off of me. I shove from my chair and grip her under her arms before she can rise herself. Her surprised squeal echoes through the room as I lay her back on my desk and tear her pointless shorts out of my way.

Faster than she can take a breath, my tongue is inside of her.

The evidence of what having me at her mercy did for her drips down my chin.

I plunge two fingers inside of her and cast my gaze up to her eyes as she moans my name. She’s none the wiser that she’s being watched, stalked, whatever you want to call that prowl my brothers are doing as they slowly approach my desk.

“Well, well, well, little burden. This most certainly is one way to come check on him.”

She slings her head back, arching across my desk as I run my finger across the pleasure point inside of her.

Creed tangles his hand in her hair, holding her head back where it is.

“Come for him. For us. Now.”

She screams out on his command, but I don’t relent my feverish need to lick up every drop of her.

Only once she tries to lock her thighs around my head for the third time do I back off.

“Don’t get up. Shirt off and on all fours, Mysenta,” I order when she pushes herself up on her elbows.

I crash back into my chair and put myself away.

When I glance back up, I’m very pleased that she’s done as I told her to.

“Now Riven’s going to come take you from behind and you’re going to take turns giving Creed and Kyzen the same pleasure you gave me. ”

Her eyes flare with my tone, and I arch my brow.

“Yes, sir.”

“Oh, gods, this is thrilling.” Riven giggles as he makes his way around my desk. “We’ve never fucked in here before.”

I bite my bottom lip to hide my smirk.

First and last, unless it’s just her and me.

They should enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Thayla pushes her ass back as soon as he lines himself up with her, and in one thrust, he’s buried inside of her. I sit back, relax, and let my interest pique on how this sharing is going to go between Kyzen and Creed.

They’re still staring at one another like their eyes will do all the talking for them.

Them standing there displeases Thayla, and she takes matters into her own hands. Literally.

Her fingers wrap around Creed while her mouth pulls Kyzen in. Back and forth, she perfects a rotation for them that should be impossible given her position, but it isn’t.

Her hands flawlessly shift, one holding her up while the other holds her man. Then they switch along with her mouth.

She’s incredible.

Every single thing about her is utter perfection.

There’s no way to explain how much pleasure it brings me watching her find pleasure. I will spend the rest of my life finding new ways to provide that for her.

“Fuck she’s choking my cock. She’s about to explode,” Riven grits out.
