Chapter Thirty-Nine

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

LEENA

“ S o what’s the problem?” Luke asks, as if he didn’t already know.

“The problem? The fucking problem is that you guys seem to have forgotten in our little briefing, to warn me that my best friend and employee would be fucking a woman on stage in front of me!” I whisper-shout at them over the loud music then stop to stare at one of the very tall chairs at the bar, wondering how in the hell I’m going to get up into it while wearing this dress.

“We thought it would be a fun surprise.” Sebastian shrugs, lifting me up onto my seat and placing an innocent kiss on my cheek before leaning casually against the counter next to me.

“Well, it was one hell of a fucking surprise, Seb!”

“It shouldn’t have been. I told you it was big,” Colton says from behind me. I let out a long sigh, closing my eyes as he spins my chair around to face him. When I open them, he’s back to his normal, relaxed state. His hair is back in a bun, and he’s resting one elbow on the bar counter, fucking smirking at me. Except, my endorphin-flooded brain can’t help but notice, that he’s still all greased up and wearing that goddamn harness. Fuck.

At least he managed to pull on some jeans.

That he didn’t button.

Or zip.

Without underwear.

My god.

I put my face in my hands so I don’t have to look at him anymore.

He grabs my wrists, gently pulling them away and getting way too close to me. I guess he always gets too close, but now that I’ve seen his dick and my guys said it was okay if I fuck him, it feels a bit different.

“Aside from my scene, what did you think?” he nearly whispers, searching my eyes as if my answer is really important to him. I take pity, not wanting to hurt my best friend’s feelings. I let out a breath.

“It was really beautiful,” I admit, even though I know I’m blushing. But I’m glad I told him, because his face softens and he gives me a smile. Not a smirk , an actual smile. I don’t see one of those often, but I love it.

I can’t seem to look away.

Neither can he.

“Hey, boss, catch!” I instinctually turn toward the bar and the voice that says those words to me so often…but it’s Colton who has a towel thrown in his direction. I start to stare as he runs it over his pecs and down his abs, then decide better of it, turning back to the man who threw it.

“Jace?!” I say, watching him polish a glass behind the bar.

“Oh, hey, boss!” he says, smiling wide. “Never thought I’d see you here!”

“Um hey! Never thought I’d see you bartending at a sex club with your shirt off. And your nipples are pierced?! Holy shit, are those real?” I lean in, then shake my head in disbelief. Because the bodyguard with the shy, quirky smile that we hired to run ops with us, is not the man standing in front of me right now. And he has his nipples pierced.

What the fuck is happening today?!

“Yeah, I’ve had them for a while. One of my Doms did them, I just never took them out. And I’m not just a bartender.” He tips his chin toward the stage behind me as he hands me my drink.

I stare at him. Then at the stage. Of. Fucking. Course.

Colton chuckles, hopping up onto the bar to sit his ass next to my drink. Which pisses me off, because now his abs, and the bare skin where his zipper should be closed, are at eye level.

I glare at him and take my drink off the counter so he doesn’t fucking spill it.

Colton gives me that infuriating smirk of his as he ceremoniously swivels around then hops from the bartop to behind the counter… barefoot. I roll my eyes as he waltzes over to where the guys are standing and leans over the bar like he’s about to take their fucking orders. Typical .

“Hey, guys! Leena said she liked my dick!” he shouts over the loud music.

“That’s not what I said, Fisher!” I shout back.

“Oh-ho! Back to the last name. You really did it this time, boss,” Jace says to him, slapping him on the shoulder as he passes.

“Oh, here!” Colton raises one finger signaling for me to wait, then heads further down the bar, ducking to pull something out from under it. He practically skips back over with the entire container of cherries, setting them in front of me as a peace offering.

He knows I like these damn things and they never give me enough of them.

“I’m so sorry, Leena Rose Hart, will you please forgive me so I can have my first name back? Or does calling me Fisher turn you on? I’m fine either way.” He gives me a sideways grin.

“You can’t just steal all their cherries, Colt,” I lecture, pushing them away from me.

He grabs one out by the stem, then uses it to point at the area behind me. “My stage. My bar. My cherries,” he says, putting it between his teeth and popping it off the stem, chewing and smiling as he pushes the bowl forward. Then he fucking winks at me before turning to lean on the bar in front of the guys, joining their conversation.

I stare after him, brows furrowed as I work out what the hell that meant.

“How do you know the owner?” a soft voice says behind me.

I turn to find the woman who was in the show with Colton standing against the counter beside me. She’s let her hair down, is wearing heels and threw on a shimmery, practically see-through dress over her harness, but she’s definitely still naked under there.

“The owner? Him?” I point over at Colton, my eyes going wide.

“Yeah, that’s him… the man who just gave me five orgasms.” She smiles sweetly.

“Five?” I try to count in my head, she laughs at the effort.

“One was right before the lights came up, that’s why I was already out of breath. I get nervous in front of people sometimes, and well…” She smiles. “He’s the only Dom who can get me off while we’re on stage. With everyone else, I just fake it when I’m up there.”

I shove a cherry in my mouth while I try to think of literally anything other than how good my roommate is at giving orgasms. It’s then I remember she asked me a question.

“Oh, um… I met Colton this past summer, he works for us,” I say, realizing how weird it sounds that her boss is my employee.

“Oh, shit! You mean the fancy bodyguard service he’s always running off to? I’m so glad you hired him, he’s been a lot less moody since you did,” she says.

“He has?” I ask, because I can’t picture Colton being moody. But I guess I didn’t know him before.

“Absolutely.” She chuckles, and I push that aside to overthink later.

“So how long has he owned it?” I ask, still trying to wrap my head around all of this.

“Oh gosh, probably about two years now? Business was slow and the old owner couldn’t afford it. We were going to lose this place.” She looks around fondly. “For some of us, it’s our only income, and we have families, ya know? Hell, we’re a family,” she says, pointing toward where Jace and several of the other staff are laughing at the far end of the bar. “Colton was already working here as a Dom, and so when the owner went to sell, he just… bought it. He fixed the place up, added the restaurant, the show, does all the choreography. He keeps us in business. He even shows up most nights to perform, help out behind the bar or train new Doms. I know he has a million other things to do, so we really appreciate it when he does.”

I look back at Colton who’s carelessly laughing with my guys. I can’t imagine how much is involved in running a place like this, and he’s doing it while working for us?

“Oh! And those are the Doms who trained him,” the woman says, pointing between my guys and Colton.

My eyes snap back at her.

“Excuse me, what?” I stare at her wide-eyed, and she looks confused.

Then I feel a large hand on my back. “Is Mia getting us into trouble over here, sweetheart?” Sebastian glances down at me and smiles, before making his way over to the woman. He crouches down so she can wrap her arms around his neck and he hugs her tight, giving her one quick lift before setting her down. When she pulls away, he kisses her hand in a very gentlemanly gesture considering that the woman is naked. “How’ve you been?” he asks, both of them smiling wide.

“I’ve been great. The show has really been helping with my confidence. And the kids are both in school, can you believe it?” She chuckles.

“No way! And they like it?” he asks.

“They really do. Luke!” she squeals as Luke shoves past Sebastian to scoop the small woman up in a similar hug before setting her back on her heels.

I stare.

“Amazing fucking job tonight, Mia. You’ve come a long way. Super proud of you.” Luke beams at her.

“Thank you.” She smiles sweetly up at him.

Okay. What the fuck is happening?

“Mia, I see you’ve met Leena?” Luke asks.

“Not officially,” she says, holding out a hand to me. “I’m Mia.”

“Leena,” I say warily, trying to figure out how well this woman knows my men.

“Leena is with me and Seb,” Luke says confidently, wrapping an arm around me. It warms my heart how proud he sounds. I love that we can be ourselves here without a second thought.

“Aw, I’m so happy for you. That’s really great.” She smiles between the three of us. “Oh! I’ve never fucked them,” she clarifies, pointing between Sebastian and Luke, clearly picking up on my wariness a moment ago. “I was a waitress back then.”

Thank fuck for that. I relax immediately and smile at her.

Then I hear the voice of the man who has fucked her… probably a lot. No way in hell was tonight the first time.

That shit was rehearsed.

Thoroughly.

“Mia, your drinks!” Colton calls out from behind the bar, the joy of blindsiding me still plastered all over his face. She smiles over at him, then steps up to lean against the bar where he sets a water and a glass of red wine.

“Oh, do you want a chair?” I say, pointing at the one I’m sitting on. Because it seems rude not to offer after her… workout.

“I’ll stand, thank you.” She chuckles, giving Colton pointed glance. He winks at her and she smiles back.

Wow. He’s just winking at everyone tonight.

I suppose one would want to stand after being flogged and given five fucking orgasms.

I quickly down half my drink, then turn to stare at my men.

“Come on,” Luke says, offering me his hand. “Let’s all go sit down so you can ask us your questions.”

He helps me off the chair, and I grab my drink from the counter.

“It was so nice to meet you, Leena!” Mia waves.

“Nice to meet you, too!” I smile, entranced by this woman. You would never know she was so sweet and quiet by the way her and Colton stalked each other around the stage.

I sit down in a silvery velvet chair, then point for the guys to sit on the curved couch facing me.

Right where I can fucking see them.

“You used to work here,” I start.

“That’s not a question, sugar.” Sebastian smirks at me.

“What exactly did you do while you were working here?” I tap my glass with my fingers, looking between them. They glance at each other, and Sebastian gives Luke the go-ahead.

“We trained submissives and Dominants. Either partners or individuals looking to join the lifestyle but not sure where to start, or people in it who were wanting to try new things. It can be dangerous, so it’s important to understand not only how to use the equipment properly, but also how to establish and maintain trust, rules and boundaries between everyone involved,” he explains.

I have so many questions.

I knew they were into the lifestyle, but working here? And what the fuck is involved with training someone? I take a breath, then decide to start from the beginning.

“How did you get into all of this?” I ask, and this time it’s Sebastian who answers.

“You already know we were starting to get mixed up with the Deck back in high school. Luke’s cousins are Ace of Clubs and they ran a club nearby. They would let us in whenever we wanted,” he explains.

“As you can imagine, it was a dream hangout spot for a couple of horny teenage boys,” Luke adds, and I nod because I’m sure it was. “Anyway, we got pretty into it. But eventually, we started getting dragged into all the other activities the Card was running through the back office. And well, you know the rest of that story.”

“That’s when you decided to become cops.” Luke nods.

“Exactly. We were never officially in the Card, and then they didn’t want anything to do with us when we joined the academy. Once we graduated and got jobs with the PD, we found this place.” Luke gestures around the room. “It wasn’t run by anyone in the Deck, and well, we just sort of picked up where we left off. We eventually started working here on our days off, and most nights after work. It was how we wound down from the stress of the job.” He shrugs.

“What about relationships? How did that work? Didn’t you have girlfriends in high school? Or anytime after?” I ask.

Sebastian chuckles. “Who needs a teenage girlfriend when there are full-grown women taking their tops off and serving you drinks every night.”

“Well that’s not fucking healthy.” I stare between them.

“I know,” Luke says a little sadly, then shrugs. “We knew it was wrong, spending all our time at The Club instead of having friends or relationships, that’s why we hid it from the rest of my family. When we got older, I think we just kept ourselves busy to avoid any type of real relationship. We each had our share of submissives, but as much as we love this lifestyle, it never lasted long. So, we went on dates and had one-night stands, both together and separately. They were all wonderful women, and it was fun. But I never loved any of them, Leena. Never found someone who felt like they were… meant for me,” Luke says, his light blue eyes glistening in the low light.

“Me either. You’re it darling. We’re all fucking yours,” Sebastian says softly.

I stare at them, and they are looking at me like I’m the most precious thing in the world.

I don’t even hear the music anymore, or the laughter coming from the bar. Right now it’s only the three of us.

I smile back as I let more of their story sink in, adding it to the pieces that make up… them. Us.

My heart aches for their lost childhoods. I’m angry at how the Deck took advantage of them, sad they spent so many years lost and so fucking happy that we get this chance to put it all behind us.

That we have this new life together.

And after watching them tonight, I can tell they miss this lifestyle, this place and the people here. I know they said they didn’t need this with me, but hell. I might want it.

I make my way over, finding a place between them on the couch. “So… did you guys ever…” I gesture toward the stage. Now that the tables and chairs are shifted off to the sides, I can see that it makes up part of the large dancefloor, which is crowded with people dressed anywhere between black tie to completely naked after being in the show.

“No.” Sebastian chuckles. “Colton added that after we left. Thank fuck.”

“Colton. The man you… trained .” I stare at them, blinking slowly.

They both laugh.

“We trained lots of Doms, but Colton turned out to be one of the best. I’m glad he’s the one who bought it. The staff already respected him, and he’s done a great fucking job with the place,” Luke says, looking around thoughtfully.

“So this is where you met him?” They both nod. “And what… exactly… is involved with training a Dom?” I pinch my eyes shut, not entirely sure if I want to know the answer to this question.

I don’t need any more images of Colton running through my mind this evening.

Sebastian turns to face me, resting his arm on the couch behind me and leaning in close. “Let’s just say,” he says slowly, his gorgeous dark blue eyes staring at me intently, “if you wanted the three of us to fuck you, sweetheart, it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve worked together. Not even fucking close.”
