I just finished putting Daisy to bed, and the last thing she told me was how much she loves you.

Awww, Ridge. I love her. We had such a good day together.
Ridge
She said good night to the flowers. It was really cute.

Thank you for today. I’ll never forget it.

You know … you never gave me an answer about the wedding.

We got a little interrupted, and then Daisy pretty much owned me up until I left.
Ridge
She’s as obsessed with you as I am.

I wish you could see how hard I’m smiling right now.
And I love that you asked me to attend the wedding, and I would be honored to be your date.

I just received your package and opened it. Are you nuts? Why are you spoiling me like this? I’m sitting in my room, staring at this giant box, and I’m in complete awe.

The dress, the shoes, the bag—they’re all so stunning. And the fact that it’s from you and Daisy made me all swoony. I can’t wait to wear them to the wedding, Ridge. 3
Ridge
When I told Daisy you were coming and that I wanted to get you something to wear, she insisted on going shopping with me. She helped me pick it out. Everything was approved by her.

How did you even know my size?
Ridge
Baby, I don’t forget details, not when they’re about you.

My mind just exploded, in case you were wondering.
I just tried everything on, and I’m going to send you a pic. Wait until you see how it looks. It’s like this dress was made for me.
Ridge
No, don’t. I want it to be a surprise when I see it on you in Edinburgh.

I love that. And I love you. Thank you for giving me the most gorgeous dress that has ever been on my body and shoes that I’m dying over and a bag I can’t stop staring at.
You know, you’re lucky you cut off all the tags because I know everything is designer, and if I found out how much you’d spent on it, I’d make you return it.
Ridge
Do you think this is the only time I’m going to do something like this? I’ve told you before, this is only the beginning …
Ridge
I’ve been staring at my phone all morning, waiting for you to text me. I’m on fucking pins and needles over here, Addison. Tell me the meeting with your principal is over.
Me
Sorry, it just ended. I popped into his office during my lunch break. That was the only time he had available today.
Ridge
And?
If you tell me he has an issue with us and your job is in jeopardy, I’ll go into his office myself and have a chat with him. Because you’re not losing your job over us dating—I’m telling you that right now.
Me
He was pleased that I came in and discussed things even though I’m not contractually obligated to tell him anything. He just appreciated the transparency in case something does come up, that way, he’s prepared and not completely taken off guard.
The only thing he did say was that if things end between us and either you or Jana wants her moved to a different teacher, then he would address things then. A plan would then be made and followed. Aside from that, he was pretty indifferent about our situation.
