Chapter Seven
Time was ticking and Evander knew he should get Callie back to his home so he could deal with his hit with Bastian.
He had never considered his work an inconvenience before.
In fact, he rather enjoyed his job, and being a contract killer came easy to him.
He wasn’t a good guy. Had never claimed to be.
He’d never had to worry about what his job entailed. There had never been a woman out there that ever swayed his head. Sure, he enjoyed them from time to time, but not long enough to stick around, nor long enough to give a shit.
Callie was different. She had been unique from the moment he first caught sight of her. Maybe it was the innocence in her eyes. Even though life had dealt her a shit hand, she hadn’t let it tarnish her soul, and that was fucking beautiful. She’d endured rather than let life corrupt her.
He saw the cruelty and bullshit in the world.
He was part of it. It darkened every part of his life—he couldn’t deny it.
The world was fucking shit. But one look at Callie and he lost his mind for all the good reasons.
She meant everything to him. The light to his darkness.
He couldn’t get enough of her. He didn’t want to get enough of her.
She called to him in ways he didn’t even understand.
Evander watched her eat, and he just couldn’t do it anymore. After licking at her cunt on the drive over here, he thought he would be able to handle not being balls-deep inside her. His plan had been to feed her, then take her home, fuck her, and get his job done. He couldn’t wait that long.
After she finished, and even though the animals were so incredibly cute, he needed to be inside Callie.
Grabbing her hand, she let out a little giggle but didn’t argue with him as he walked her toward the men’s toilets.
There was a lock on the door, and it provided them with enough privacy, so he slid the bolt into place and moved Callie so that she was facing the bathroom mirror.
He eased the straps of her top down, and she cried out as he pushed her bra out of the way, exposing her large, full tits.
He cupped them within his palms, marveling at the softness of her skin.
His cock was already hard as rock. He let go of one of her tits, to slide his hand down her side, going to her thigh.
He forced her pants down and tore the panties right off her, and quickly shoved them in his pocket.
She was not going to be needing them for the rest of the night.
He cupped her full ripe ass in his free palm and let out a groan at just how sexy she felt within his grip.
She drove him wild. He squeezed the flesh, then positioned her at just the right angle over the counter, so that he could fill her tight cunt.
The reflection of her gorgeous tits and flushed cheeks in the mirror was perfection.
Once he had her where he wanted her, he pressed his palm to her pussy to find her still dripping wet.
He pressed a single finger inside her, and she was so incredibly tight.
He added a second finger, stretching her cunt, and then he moved his finger to her clit and started to dance across it. She cried out, rocking against him.
He leaned over and kissed her neck. “You want my dick, don’t you, baby?” he asked.
She whimpered.
“Tell me you fucking want it,” he said.
“Yes, I want it.”
“Tell me.”
“I want your dick, please, Evander. I want you.”
That was all he needed. He pulled his fingers out of her pussy and quickly eased his zipper down, pulling out his cock.
He had no choice but to open the button, to give him a little extra room.
He gritted his teeth because he was so close to coming all over the cheeks of her ass. This woman made him lose his mind.
Lining up the tip to her entrance, he started to slowly ease inside her, going deeper and deeper.
He let go of his cock, to hold onto her hips and started to pull her back against him.
It was a beautiful sight. When there was just an inch remaining, he couldn’t resist tugging hard, so their bodies slapped together as he joined them completely. He was to the hilt within her.
She cried out as he ran his hands up her sides and cupped her tits, watching as her eyes closed. Her pussy pulsed around his length, and he started to tease her nipples.
“Look at me, beautiful,” he said.
She opened her eyes, and she looked so loved up and fucked.
This was perfect, this was how he had imagined taking her for so fucking long.
He couldn’t believe he had sat back and waited, not just taken her and fucked her.
There had been so many chances and he’d not taken them, just watched her, expecting his obsession to pass.
That hadn’t happened. He should have known Callie wasn’t some little fascination, but an obsession he couldn’t cure.
Evander let go of her tits and grabbed her hips as he pulled out of her, watching her eyes, as she looked sad at the thought of his cock not being deep within her cunt.
He rewarded her with a hard, deep thrust that made her cry out.
He went slow, making her feel every inch, and then he couldn’t help it, he sped up, thrusting inside her, harder and faster, until the sounds that filled the room were ones of them grunting, and the slapping of flesh.
Gritting his teeth, he was close to losing it. He needed to come inside her. He wanted to spill his seed deep into her womb, and have it take. It completely blew his mind that he wanted to make a baby with her.
Callie was everything. All his life, he had taken, killed, and the cycle repeated. He was a man that didn’t deserve happiness, but he craved it with Callie.
“What have you fucking done to me?” he asked.
He didn’t have time to bring her to orgasm, as he filled her one final time, and his seed flooded her cunt, filling her, and as it did, he prayed she would get pregnant. He needed Callie to be pregnant, so when she found out the truth of who he really was, she didn’t run from him.
****
Callie was not an idiot. She was not a fool.
There were a ton of red flags when it came to Evander.
She just didn’t want to see them. The fact he wouldn’t let her go back to her old life at Guy’s Titties was off, even though she never put up a fight.
Who in their right mind wanted to work at a place like that if they had a choice?
He seemed to know so much about her, the oddities at the hospital, and now at his home. How he freaked out when she did a little bit of gardening. How he seemed to be dressed a little differently each time he came home. The odd injuries.
She noticed he didn’t talk about his job.
There were strange little pieces that didn’t make any sense.
She didn’t respond to them because he had never hurt her.
He’d only been there for her, and if she was being honest with herself, she was a little addicted to the sex, and the compliments, and the nice life he had given her in such a short time.
She knew alarm bells should be going off inside her head.
But she didn’t care. Callie knew she was in blissful denial and didn’t give a shit.
Evander was not who he said he was. But every time he touched her, she felt things she never had before.
She looked forward to seeing him, and even if there was a lie between them, she got the feeling he was real with her in every way.
Not some creep juggling two families, but something darker.
Callie knew she could go snooping around his home, but she didn’t want to.
That didn’t build trust, that fed the lie.
Her silk and white negligee felt so soft against her skin. She made herself a hot chocolate, then went and waited in the sitting room. It was getting late. The hours ticked by, and she thought about reading a book, but she was too wired to read.
Part of her brain told her to forget about this and just let it go.
She didn’t need to know what Evander did for a living.
She didn’t need to know anything, did she?
But a tiny part of her brain craved the knowledge, no matter how bad it may be.
Lies infected a relationship, and she didn’t want that with Evander.
She was ready to not like what he did and still accept it. How bad could it be?
She blew across her hot chocolate and waited.
Her mind threw every scenario there was, and at two in the morning, she wasn’t any closer to sleep when Evander finally walked into the house.
Like so many other times before, she heard him type in a code.
He was a man that cared about his security.
He stepped closer and then stopped, and she had a feeling he was already aware she was there.
“I thought you would be in bed,” he said.
Callie stood, and she watched as his gaze roamed her body, from her tits down to her exposed thighs, and back up again.
“I’m not tired,” she said.
Her stomach was twisted into knots, because she didn’t know what to say. If she pushed, he could push her away, and that was the last thing she wanted. Her insecurities flared strong.
“You wanted to wait up for me?” he asked.
Callie looked at him and knew it would be easy to fall into his arms, just forget about this, but she wanted to make this real. Forever.
“What do you do?” she whispered.
There was nothing nine-to-five about this man, especially as it was two in the morning, and he didn’t even carry a briefcase. He lived in luxury, but mostly carried a black duffel bag, and didn’t give the businessman vibe. At least Guy’s Titties had provided her with that kind of knowledge.
“I think we should go to bed,” he said.
Callie knew there was a chance he would try to stop this, so she pulled her negligee over her head. The truth was, she had no idea what she was doing. Standing completely naked and vulnerable to him, she stared in his eyes. Evander didn’t waver.
“I’m yours,” she said. “Every single part of me belongs to you. There is no part of me I will hide. I’ll be open and honest with you. All I ask in return, is that you be the same with me. You should trust that I won’t run away screaming from the man you are. Really are.”
This time, she didn’t waver, not even as he took a step toward her, then another. She kept her gaze locked on him. There was no reason to look away. Evander was not going to hurt her. The heat in his eyes told her the only risk was being fucked until she couldn’t remember her name.
She waited.
He stood right in front of her, and there was no denying he smelled so damn good.
A mix of masculinity with the darkness of the night.
She wanted to reach out and touch him, instead, she put her hands at the base of her back, and she knew it pushed her tits out even more.
Callie wasn’t even trying to tempt him, but it felt like she was being seductive. She tilted her head to the side.
“Do you think you’re ready to know who I am?” he asked.
“You’re not a businessman. I know them. You’re something else,” she said. “And no, I don’t think vampire or otherworldly being. I think you’re something more.”
He chuckled, reached out, cupped her cheek, and she turned her head to kiss the inside of his palm.
“The question is, Evander, do you trust me enough to tell me the truth and keep me around?”
Both his hands cupped her face, and he tilted her head back to look at him.
“You’re smart,” he said.
“Or stupid.”
“No, you’re not stupid. You know I won’t hurt you, and you know I’m not who I say I am.” He took possession of her lips. “I’m not a good man.”
In between each kiss, he told her exactly who he was.
“I kill people.”
Another kiss.
“Bad people, most of the time.”
And his lips were creating havoc with her senses.
“I do it for money.”
And Callie was not shocked, nor was she scared. This made sense to her, and she ran her hands up his chest. Most women might be afraid, almost terrified, but she wasn’t most women.
Evander could have killed her back in that alley, but he didn’t. He removed her from an awful life, gave her a taste of this one, and the truth was, she was falling for him.
There was nothing more intoxicating than a man who would take care of his woman, and she felt like she was his.
