"Give me all the details on how everything has been going. There are fresh marks on you and some are fading and that's a good sign." Solana said as she crossed her leg over the other, sipping on blood in a wine glass.
"Athena isn't the only one that lives in this estate, you know that, right?"
"Athena would kill the person for touching you."
I folded my lips at that.
Maybe.
"Back then, she didn't want anything to do with me so maybe she wouldn't have." I told her and Solana raised an eyebrow.
"She wanted everything to do with you. She's just a pussy."
"And what makes you say that?"
"She wanted a mate, she searched for them, all the nations and didn't find them.
She still had hope but it wasn't something that she put out there— "oh I want a mate" — she did it under the quiet.
Another thing that she believes, even though she searched for her mate, Athena believed that having a mate was also a weakness so she was stuck battling her thoughts when she found you. "
I smiled and shook my head. "She—"
"Plus, I know she's been fucking you so don't tell me that those aren't from her." She used her finger to motion to my neck and my eyes widened.
"She told you?!"
Solana smirked. "I didn't know. You just confirmed it."
I threw one of the cushions at her and she laughed, catching it before it came in contact with her.
"So spill the details, everything. Who initiated the first move? Has any one of her flings come to visit her as yet? Any fights? I want to know everything."
"Solana—"
"Yes?" She drawled out the word and batted her eyelashes at me.
"Fine. Only because you're my only friend right now and I need to yap."
Solana took a sip of the blood and motioned for me to talk.
"I don't remember who made the first move. I think it was me," I tried to remember. "No, that's a lie. When Diana beated me—"
"Diana beat you?!"
I nodded in embarrassment and puffed my cheeks.
"Weren't you here?"
Solana shrugged.
"Anyways, after she did all that, Athena came, rescued me like my knight in shining armour, and healed me.
When I woke up, she apologized and asked for a chance.
I gave her the chance and then from there, we started tal— yes!
I think she did initiate the first move.
I think our first kiss was in the garden when we found the rabbit. "
My timeline is so messy.
"Man, I don't know." I whined.
"How, why did Diana–" she made a fist and punched the air.
"Jealousy. While we were fighting, I remember her saying something like Athena is hers and I should stay away and basically claiming her and being possessive." I explained and Solana raised her eyebrows.
"Now, see if you were mine, none of that would've happened."
I threw another pillow at her.
"Remember, at that time, Athena and I weren't close." I pointed out and Solana tilted her head.
"Right, she must've smelt your scent in the room and assumed that you were sleeping with Athena because you clean there daily so the scent lingers."
You know, that actually makes sense.
"How's the sex?"
"Amazing." I smacked my thigh and leaned forward. "Girl, girl."
"That good?"
"Wait, what do you consider as sex?" She could be talking strapped, scissoring, anything.
"Fingering, eating you out, strapping you down, all that."
"Well, we've done the first two options but not the third."
Solana nodded in amusement.
"Why am I discussing your sister's sex life with you?"
"I really don't care for Athena. I'm prying into your sex life. Want to know how you feel throughout it so I can have something to put my body at ease later on."
I could hear the teasing tone and it just made me laugh.
"Next question."
"Her flings, anyone yet?"
"Miles."
"Miles?"
"The beta's sister."
"Yes, I know who she is. She's the calmest of them all so you don't have to worry about her."
"She's knows we're mates so, that's that."
Solana nodded.
"You're making it sound like there's a lot." I scrunched my nose.
"Darling, Athena is whore."
My eyebrows shot up. "And you're saying you aren't?"
"Never said I wasn't." She finished drinking the blood in the cup.
"Are you a hybrid, too?"
"No. Athena and I have different mothers. Hers was a witch, our father a royal blood."
"And they were mated or just randoms?"
"Athena's mother was our father's girlfriend for a few decades.
Our father traveled and met my mother, who was his destined mate.
It caused a slight rude between her mother and our father but in the end, her mother was accepting and understanding.
Athena was still the heir to the throne because she was the first born.
" Solana explained and I nodded as I listened to her.
"Are your parents alive?"
"Our mothers are dead but our father is alive. He's still travelling."
"Do you guys keep contact with him?"
"Yes." She nodded. "I spoke to him recently, can't say the same about Athena. He complained about not speaking to her in a month now and normally, she'd call him every week."
"I'll be sure to remind her to call him."
Mind, set a reminder for this.
Last time, you disappointed me and didn't remind me to start an argument about that reminder.
Sigh.
"Can you read my mind?"
"Am I your mate?"
"Only Athena can read it?"
"Unless you drink my blood."
"Yes, I know that bit but I thought you could read it regardless."
"Here's the thing." Solana placed the glass down. "Once you're mated, I cannot read your mind and you're not mated so I'm confused as to why I cant right now. Royal bloods can read the mind of any and everyone."
"But you can't read mine?" I furrowed my eyebrows and Solana shook her head.
"It's probably Athena's doing."
"Probably." I shrugged. It's for the best. The things I think I doubt she'd want to know about those. "Let's have a girls day."
Solana raised her eyebrows.
"What's that?"
"What's that? What's that?" I stared at her in shock. "It's a day where just girls go out and do what girls do, get their nails done and hair and all that."
"Ooh that sounds fun. Let's do it." She clapped excitedly.
My mood immediately dampened when I realize I don't have any money.
"Nevermind. We can't."
"And why not?"
"I don't have any money."
I know a girls day can happen without money but I was feeling for one of those girls day.
Solana laughed.
"Go shower, get dressed and we head out in an hour." She fanned me off and I raised my eyebrows.
"No, Solana. You're not going to use your money on me."
"Oh, it's not my money that you'll be using."

I was dressed in a red sundress and slides. I did my edges and took up one of Athena's bags incase I needed to put any little things in it. I took a few pictures of myself and sent some to Athena.
I descended the stairs and Solana waited for me. We planned to wear red together. She smiled at me and we left the house and headed towards the garage.
"You look beautiful." she said in the walk to the garage.
"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."
We got in the red BMW X4 and the engine purred underneath us as she started the car.
"Where to first?" She asked me as she drove out of the estate.
I connected my phone through AUX and went to Spotify. Everything was already set up on the phone, Athena's premium accounts were already on it for everything: Netflix, Spotify, Disney Plus, HBO Max, App Store, YouTube, anything that could possibly have a premium to it was there.
"Okay, so I was thinking maybe to the mall and then maybe somewhere to buy bags, undergarments and other stuff like that." I told her as I scrolled through the many playlists that I managed to save within the span of a few hours of getting the device. "Clean or Explicit?"
"Hit me with explicit."
I pressed the playlist and pressed on shuffle.
Peaches and Eggplants by Young Nudy ft 21 Savage.
I rested the phone down and nodded to the beat.
"If all this song says is 'buh buh buh', I'm gonna 'buh buh buh' you two punches." I laughed at her empty threat.
"It's a good song. Just wait it out."
The drive was anything but peaceful. Solana and I listened to music the entire way. She parked in the parking lot of Louis Vuitton along with two other SUVS and we got out of the car. She handed me a black card and I looked at it but took it nonetheless.
"It's Athena's. She said to use it and go crazy."
"How'd you get this? Didn't she bring her wallet with her?"
"She teleported the card to me."
Right, she has magic.
I placed the card in my bag.

I told myself, "Don't go crazy, Lauren. Her money has a limit", but here I am, walking out of Louis Vuitton with over six bags. Solana left with two.
I wanted everything.
Oh my god.
I've never been in a designer store before and everything caught my eye. Solana picked up on that and as soon as I looked at something for too long, she had someone taking it to the cashier.
I tried to protest but she shushed me.
The area that we were in was filled with many different species. Humans were here but just a handful.
The supernatural world and the human world was separated, like half and half of the world.
Of course, there wasn't just four types of species.
There were dragons, mermaids, animal shifters and other shifters underwater.
They all had different ways in which they considered themselves: clans, packs, rogues, etc.
The four nations, werewolf nation, vampire nation, faerie nation and the coven, were just the main nations, the vampire nation being the strongest and the coven following in second place.
Solana and I went to Chanel, Victoria Secret and many other designer stores.
The backseat was filled with bags and so was the trunk by time we were done with shopping.
We didn't eat until we were done with the shopping.
With the adrenaline that was pumping through me, I didn't even feel hungry until she mentioned food.
"We're buying food for the guys, too." I told her as we entered Pizza Hut.
It was my decision.
I love pizza.
If I could eat pizza everyday, I would.
We ordered 12 boxes of pizza, each of them containing different toppings.
There were ten of us but one of the boxes I bought for Athena — if she was back home.
She haven't responded to the numerous messages I sent to her today and I was worried but Solana told me to worry because Athena was probably busy.
I handed the pizza to the four guys that were in one of the SUVs.
"Thank you, your highness." One of them said and my eyes widened.
"What?" I blurted out and he chuckled.
"It's obvious you're her mate. You reek of the queen, those," he motioned to the hickeys, "were done by her, everytime I see you, I see her, and I could go on and on as to how obvious it is."
Oh.
My cheeks heated and the others nodded, agreeing with him.
"I'm Dominic." The guy that was talking introduced himself with a smile. "That's Nicolas, Dominico and Nicholás."
I looked at them.
They all looked alike— black hair, blue eyes, same lips, same nose structure and seemingly the same height
"We're quadruplets."
My eyes widened.
