The following morning

Athena cuddled into my body as my eyes fluttered open. Her heartbeat greeted my ears and her strawberry scent evaded my nostrils.
She shifted her arms, loosening her grip so that I could get up if needed to. I realized that she was awake.

"I suppose it could but it would take the humans some time to warm up to the idea of us just dropping the process like that. They could see this as a sign of vulnerability and attack us once more so I don't exactly know. I haven't given this a lot of thought."

"Exactly."

Athena laughed as we neared the throne room.
"If you're waiting for me to deny it then keep waiting."

"That was quick! What the fuck?" We walked to her seat. I didn't sit beside Athena because not everyone was here as yet so the meeting haven't started as yet. "How far along are you?"
"A few weeks."
"And you know already?"
"It's a werewolf, full breed, and the baby develops quickly." London said. "We did the ultrasound sound and the baby has all of its body parts already. It's small but I know that as time passes by, they'll get bigger."

"I don't know the gender so I said they." She rolled her eyes. "I don't want to refer to them as it."
I nodded in understanding.

"Same but Judas wants a boy since he's going to have the alpha title passed down to him."
"Isn't it usually the alpha's child who gets the alpha title?" I asked in confusion.
"Yes, but Mateo doesn't have any children and he wants to step down.
By the rules, the beta gets that position and then his mate becomes Luna or the latter.
" I nodded as I processed this. "So tell me about your life.

"Yes." She turned to Judas and stretched her hand out. He placed a phone in her hand and she showed me the phone case. It's a pink mirror case with her initial on the bottom plus Judas' own, L+J.

I took her number since I had Judas' own and I texted her.
The others arrived as London and I finished our conversation. I went and sat down beside Athena. She smirked at me.
"As soon as this meeting is done, we're going shopping."
