Chapter 70

Chapter Seventy

Killian

Vidalia is tied to a chair, his disheveled hair sticking to his forehead, a mixture of sweat and fear glistening on his skin. I always find a certain satisfaction in the power dynamic of these situations, but this time is different. This time, it is personal.

“Where is she, Nico?” My voice drips with menace, echoing slightly in the cramped space, holding onto one of his fingers I just cut off. “You know I don’t have the patience for games.”

Nico meets my gaze, defiance flickering in his eyes. “I won’t tell you anything,” he spits, his voice wavering only slightly.

I chuckle softly, the sound low and dangerous.

The man has spirit, but spirit can be broken.

I straighten, stepping back to consider my options.

I have no intention of dragging this out longer than necessary.

Lily is out there, and every second that passes could mean she is slipping further away from me.

“Let’s make this simple.” I twist the knife between my fingers. “You can save yourself a lot of pain if you just tell me where she is. Last chance.”

Nico shakes his head, his breath coming in shallow pants. “You think you can scare me? I’m not afraid of you. Go ahead, just take the whole damn hand.”

My smile widens. “Oh, I’m not trying to scare you, Nico. I’m trying to help you understand the consequences of your silence.” I step forward, the knife now hovering inches from Nico’s face, the tip barely grazing his cheek. “You’re going to wish you had talked when this is over.”

“Do your worst,” Nico challenges.

“Your approval is my pleasure.” With a swift motion, I press the blade harder against Nico’s skin, drawing a thin line of blood. Nico winces, but the defiance still lingers in his eyes.

Nico closes his eyes, breathing heavily. I can almost see the gears turning in his mind. But no matter how tough Nico is, I’ve dealt with men like him before. They all have their breaking points.

I withdraw the knife, letting the blood drip onto the floor. “You’re strong. I admire that.” I reach for a nearby metal pipe, its weight reassuring in my hands. “Let’s find out just how strong you really are.”

The first strike lands against Nico’s side, a dull thud that echoes through the room. He gasps, but I can see the determination etched on his face. “You think this will make me talk?” Nico grunts, his voice strained but defiant.

“Not yet,” I reply, swinging the pipe again, this time connecting with Nico’s shoulder. The sound is sickening to most, but the crunch sends a thrill of satisfaction through my veins. “But it will make you reconsider your options.”

As the blows continue, Nico’s breath comes in desperate gasps.

“Tell me, where is Lily?” Cameron demands, his voice low and steady.

“Go to hell,” Nico spits, his voice barely above a whisper now.

I pause, taking a deep breath to regain my composure. I step back, letting the weight of silence settle between them. “Then we’ll do this the hard way,” I say, a dark promise lacing my words.

I thrive in this chaos, but I can’t afford to lose focus.

With each word, I feel the pulse of control thrum in my veins.

The thrill of the hunt, the satisfaction of breaking down my prey.

It’s intoxicating. But deep down, this is more than just an interrogation.

It’s a race against time, and I have every intention of winning.

“Take his pants off,” I command to Cameron.

“His pants?” Cameron repeats it back, hoping he misheard me.

“He doesn’t mind losing some limbs, so I’m going to take the one that will strip him of any kind of pleasure from his line of work.”

Now I can smell the fear radiating off Nico, a sweet scent that only fuels my determination.

Nico continues to hold off to see if I’m bluffing.

Cameron isn’t thrilled to carry out this task, but he knows we are running out of time.

He manages to get Nico’s pants undone and hesitates when he has to reach in and pull out the man’s dick.

“You owe me,” Cameron spits over his shoulder to me. “And if you ever speak of this to anyone, you’re dead.”

When Cameron is done, he steps back, wiping his hands on his shirt like he touched something contaminated.

“For such a big ego, you have a small dick,” I comment, seeing Vidalia practically fuming by the ears.

The same knife that Cameron stabbed him with is placed at the base of his shaft. He’s breathing heavily, knowing he has no choice—lose his manhood or his dignity.

“Last chance,” I press the blade, cutting through some skin. “Three, Two—”

“Basement of the lounge on Douglas Ave!” he spits out.

I take the blade off his shaft. “If I go check it out and she’s not there.

I’m calling Cameron to finish this.” I point to his bleeding dick.

“And I’m going to have him shove it so far down your throat you’ll vomit.

And with that vomit, he’ll use it like lube and stick up your ass then drop you off in front of your men.

Let’s see what respect you’ll have then. ”

As I walk away and hand Cameron the knife, he whispers, “You have to be fucking kidding me.”

“When this is over, and I leave, I’ll make sure you get all my resources.” I pat him on the shoulder.
