Chapter 31 No More Patience #2

When his mouth finally brushed the outer lips of my pussy, I gasped, sharp, involuntary. He paused there, letting me feel the heat of his exhale, then pressed the flattest, slowest kiss directly to my clit.

My back arched off the mattress.

He didn’t rush.

He kissed again, soft, closed, lipped, then parted me with the lightest sweep of his tongue. One long, languid stroke from entrance to clit. Then another. And another. Each pass deliberate, unhurried, tasting me like he had all night to learn every inch.

My thighs trembled.

He hummed low in his throat, the vibration rolling straight through me, and the sound pulled a broken moan from my chest.

His hands slid under my hips, lifting me just enough to angle me toward his mouth.

Then he sealed his lips around my clit and sucked, gentle at first, rhythmic pulses that made my toes curl.

“Alexander , ”

His name came out shaky, pleading.

He answered by flattening his tongue and dragging it up again, slow and firm, circling the swollen bud before dipping lower to push inside me , shallow, teasing thrusts that had my hips rocking helplessly against his face.

I needed more.

He knew.

The next time he sucked my clit he added the lightest scrape of teeth, just enough to make a lightning streak behind my eyelids. My fingers flew to his hair, gripping, not guiding, just holding on. He groaned against me at the pull, the sound vibrating deep, and that was it , I was lost.

He ate me like he was starving and patient all at once.

Long licks that parted me completely. Swirling circles around my clit.

Sucking hard enough to make my thighs shake, then easing off to soft, fluttering strokes that left me whimpering.

He alternated , sucked, lick, thrust his tongue inside, then back to my clit , never settling into one rhythm long enough for me to catch my breath.

My hips bucked.

“Please , harder , ”

He gave me what I begged for.

One hand pressed down on my lower stomach, pinning me in place, while the other gripped my thigh, spreading me wider.

Then his mouth turned ruthless in the gentlest way possible , sucking my clit hard, tongue flicking fast and relentless against the underside, two fingers sliding inside me, curling upward to stroke that spot that made my vision blur.

I screamed his name.

The sound tore out of me, raw and desperate. My whole body clenched , thighs, stomach, walls fluttering around his fingers. He didn’t stop. He curled harder, sucked deeper, tongue working in tight, merciless circles until the pleasure sharpened into something almost painful.

My hand shoved at the back of his head, pressing him closer, grinding against his face. He let me. Growled against me , low, approving , and doubled everything. Fingers pumping. Tongue relentless. Suction so perfect my spine bowed off the bed.

I came apart screaming.

Wave after wave crashed through me, thighs clamping around his ears, fingers yanking his hair, hips jerking uncontrollably. He kept going , slower now, softer licks, easing me through the aftershocks until every muscle in my body went liquid.

Only then did he lift his head.

Lips glistening. Eyes dark and molten. Hair wrecked from my hands.

He rose slowly, crawling over me until his weight braced on his forearms beside my head. His mouth found mine , slow, deep, tasting of me. I kissed him back like I was drowning and he was air.

When he finally pulled away just enough to speak, his voice was rough, wrecked.

“You’re beautiful when you come for me, Isabella.”

He slipped onto the mattress beside me, the mattress dipping under his weight.

With unhurried movements he pushed his slacks away, leaving only dark briefs that did nothing to hide how hard , and how thick , he was.

My breath caught; a flicker of nerves mixed with the after-shiver of release.

Alexander noticed. A faint line formed between his brows, and his hand came to rest on my thigh in a reassuring glide rather than a possessive grip.

“You’re still trembling,” he murmured, brushing his knuckles down the outside of my leg.

I shook my head, but he must have heard the hitch in my breathing.

Instead of rolling over me, he eased onto his side, propping himself on one elbow. His free hand traced lazy patterns along my stomach, up to the curve beneath my breast , soft, almost tentative.

“You’re beautiful,” he whispered, as if the words cost something.

His gaze searched mine, like he wanted to add more but couldn’t shape it.

I swallowed. “I thought you were going to … ” The sentence trailed off when his thumb swept across my lower lip.

“I planned to,” he admitted, voice husky. “But plans can change.”

He leaned in, kissing me slow and deep , nothing brutal, only warmth and lingering heat. When he drew back, his breathing was uneven, the muscle in his jaw flexing like he fought an inner battle.

“We have time,” he said at last, lips ghosting across my cheek. “Tonight isn’t about taking everything. It’s about learning you.”

He gathered me against his chest, the steady rise and fall of his breathing calming the last wild sparks in my body. A strong arm anchored around my waist; the other stroked my hair.

I lay there stunned , half from what he’d done to me, half from what he hadn’t done. The man who’d promised to break my will now tucked me close, fingers drawing light circles on my back as if soothing a fever.

“Sleep,” he murmured against my temple, voice low but softer than I’d ever heard it. “When you’re ready, we’ll keep going.”

A quiet vow, not a threat.

Confusion moved through me in slow waves. I was still shocked , by his gentleness, by how soft he had been. Just hours ago at dinner he’d promised to take me the second we got home. He’d been cold, dominant, certain.

Now he was careful. Patient. Almost sweet.

And what shocked me even more… was myself.

I hadn’t fought him.

Not really.

Where was the anger? The resistance? I’d sworn I would never give in easily. I’d even told myself I would rather choose someone else than let him have me. And yet tonight, I hadn’t pushed him away. I hadn’t argued. I hadn’t tried to run.

I had melted.

I let out a quiet breath, staring at the ceiling. Can you blame me? The man is unfairly attractive , strong, confident, intense in a way that makes your body react before your brain can protest. Still… that wasn’t enough of an excuse.

I was confused by how easily I had responded to him. How quickly my body had trusted his hands.

The thoughts tangled together until they became too heavy to hold.

Exhaustion won.

My muscles loosened, the last tension draining from me as my head rested against his shoulder. His scent , clean, warm, with something darker underneath , filled each slow breath. The city lights beyond the windows blurred as my eyes closed.

His heartbeat was steady beneath my ear.

Strong. Grounding.

Wrapped in his arms , still cautious, still unsure , I let sleep take me.

And even as I drifted off, one truth lingered in my mind:

Nothing about this man was simple.

And nothing about what I felt for him was, either.
