Chapter Eighteen

Jericho

When Sean straddled my thighs, I nearly shot off. I wasn’t lying when I’d said I hadn’t been intimate with a man since I’d lost my foot. Hell, when I was drinking so much, I couldn’t even get hard by watching porn on my fucking phone.

Only recently had I resumed self-abuse, and in every one of those fantasies, Sean and I had done exactly what we were getting ready to do. Now I was worried I’d shoot too fast.

He handed me the lube, and I flipped the cap, squeezing some gel onto my fingers before I moved my hand to his crease and slid my fingers down to his entrance. Sean leaned forward and kissed my cheek, nibbling his way along my jaw. “That feels so good, Jeri.”

This part was always the way my fantasies started, Sean kissing me and making me feel wanted. “You feel good, Sean.” I circled my index finger around his hole, feeling the flesh quiver from my touch.

I slid the tip of my finger inside him slowly. “This okay?” His lips landed on my neck, and he mimicked my motions with his tongue. I removed my finger and squeezed more lube into my hand.

“Two fingers this time, all the way in. I want this cock.” Sean reached down and wrapped his hand around my hard rod. Fuck if it didn’t feel amazing.

He stroked a couple of times, so I did as he said and quickly slid both of my fingers inside him, touching his silky walls until I curled my fingers in search of his prostate. “Fuck, that’s it. Right there,” Sean gasped, so I did it again.

“Okay, suit up, cowboy. You’re going to make me shoot off. I’m not a young man like you.” Sean kissed my lips as I reached for one of the condoms.

I ripped it open with my teeth, and he took it from the foil. He scooted back and my dick popped from under him. He slid the rubber down my length and picked up the lube, slicking the condom before he moved forward and positioned my cock at his entrance.

He slowly inched down until his sexy cheeks rested on my groin. I held him still. “Gimme a sec.”

Sean grinned. “I’ll give you as long as you need, cowboy. I’ve got all kinds of time.”

I wiped my messy hands on the fitted sheet and wrapped my arms around his waist. “You are a walking temptation. Do you know that?”

Sean chuckled, which did fantastic things to my dick. “You’re one to talk. Can I move?”

I laughed as I released my hold and folded my hands behind my head.

“Ride ’em cowboy.” We both laughed at my cockiness.

Sean gyrated his hips before he rose all the way and slid back down. His moves were perfect, and my mind was blown pretty fucking fast.

I didn’t let my brain dwell on the fact he’d done this with other guys. It wasn’t that I wanted a virgin, but thinking about how many men may have enjoyed the same sexy lap dance I was getting had me wishing I didn’t know anything about Sean’s history.

He stopped and touched my cheeks. “Hey, where are you?”

I opened my eyes to see his brow drawn in concern. “I’m sorry, baby. It feels incredible. I’m trying not to make the ride too short.” It was as good a lie as I could come up with, considering most of the blood in my body had pooled in one specific place.

Sean leaned forward and kissed my lips, sliding his tongue over the seam before I opened and accepted him inside. I put my hands on his hips and planted my foot and the stump on the bed to get some leverage.

We began moving in opposite directions, both of us moaning into each other’s mouths. Fuck if it didn’t feel like heaven.

Finally, I couldn’t take the slow movements, so I began thrusting up harder as I grasped his throbbing cock and stroked him.

“Fuck, yes.” He began moving faster, and I got lost in the sensation, my brain shutting down completely.

I’d never been with anyone who could bring me so much pleasure that I couldn’t form a coherent thought.

I was consumed with what Sean was doing, and when he reached around and caressed my balls, I groaned loudly.

I needed more, so I flipped him onto his back and began pounding him into the fucking mattress. “You’re mine.” It came from nowhere, but I meant it with everything inside me.

“God, I want to be yours. I want you more than anything. Fuck me harder, Jeri. I want to feel you for days.”

I lifted his ass to rest on my thighs and looked down to where we were joined. I would own that hole. He’d never want another man but me. I’d make damn sure to keep him satisfied. He’d know he had someone who loved him more than anything.

The tingle began deep in my balls. “Oh, fuck. I’m gonna...”

“Me too.” His cock warmed in my hand and shots of cum covered my hand and his belly. It was so fucking sexy to see him come undone, I couldn’t stop myself. I filled the condom inside him and collapsed on his firm body, breathing hard.

I glanced up to see his perfect red hair slick with sweat. His drunken smile told me he was perfectly wrecked. I’d never been prouder of myself.

We ordered Chinese takeout, and I went downstairs to pick it up when the delivery app chimed that it was on its way. I started to walk out without my gun, but something told me it was a bad idea.

I stepped out of the door in my boots, jeans, and with my western shirt untucked. A thought occurred to me so I opened it again. “Baby, lock this and don’t open it until I text you that it’s me at the door. Can you get my phone from the counter?”

Sean picked up my phone and brought it to me, giving me a sweet kiss. “Yes, boss.”

I reached around and gave his sexy naked ass a pat. “See that you do. Stay like that. I love looking at you.”

Considering everything going on, I decided to get off on the second floor to take the stairs down.

The whole thing gave me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Why the fuck weren’t they coming to Sean’s condo?

It wasn’t that fucking hard to find out where a high-powered lobbyist lived in Washington, DC.

When the elevator stopped, I got off and walked down the hall to the stairwell. I called the front desk, and the phone rang. I could hear the ringing up the stairwell as I lightly made my way down.

I glanced through the window, but I couldn’t see anything. I listened, but it was perfectly quiet. My training told me not to go out that door. It might be a trap, so I took the stairs down to the garage and called Sean.

“Are they giving you shit about the order? I paid on the app.”

“Sean, baby, get some clothes on and get in the service elevator. Go to the second floor. I’m in the stairwell. Hurry, baby. Leave the phone on.”

I stepped out of the stairwell and took off my boot to hold the door open for him so he didn’t make a sound. I dropped to the floor and commando-crawled to the open railing that looked down onto the lobby. I wished to fuck I had my Mossberg and a scope.

Footsteps on the tile floor below caught my attention. I slid up the pony wall and glanced over the top to see that Adriana was behind the desk, her mouth covered with tape and her hands zip-tied behind the back of the rolling chair.

Ralph was on his back behind the desk as a white-haired guy kneeled on his chest. Blood covered Ralph’s face, and he wore a terrified expression. “Tell me which unit is Sean Fitzpatrick’s. I’ll fuckin’ kill her if you don’t,” the guy snarled, aiming a gun at Adriana.

“Psst!” I glanced over to see that Sean had come down the stairs and out into the hallway.

I motioned for him to get down on the floor, and he did, quickly, crawling to where I was crouched.

I couldn’t take a chance that they would figure out which apartment was his and get to him while I was on the second floor.

“What’s going on?” Sean whispered into my ear.

“They’re here looking for you. Go back to the stairwell. Don’t go downstairs because I have no idea how many are here and some might be staking out the garage. Close the door and call the police.”

“I’m not leaving you out here alone. I just found you, Jericho.” The whispered tremble of his voice touched me.

“And I just found you and won’t let anyone hurt you. We can’t plan a future together if you get hurt. Now, go.” Thankfully, Sean did as I asked, gently closing the door.

I got my feet under me and stood. “Hit him again, and I’ll paint that marble with your fucking brains.”

The white-haired guy shifted to look at me as another came out of the shadows, aiming his gun at me before I dropped to the floor. The shot pinged off the metal railing on top of the pony wall, raining debris onto me.

I ducked my head to shield my eyes before popping up and shooting the other guy in the shoulder. I dropped to the floor as two more shots came my way, and when I popped up again, I heard the elevator bell ding on the first floor.

“Down. Down. Down.” I shouted in hope that whoever got off that elevator heard me.

I dared to kneel so I could see over the railing. Dominic and Austin stepped out of the elevator, both with guns drawn.

I saw a guy step from the shadows, so I stood. “Freeze!”

The fucker looked up and aimed his gun at me, but Austin shot him in the thigh, taking him to the floor and stomping on his gun hand until he released the pistol, which Austin kicked away.

The sirens were coming close, so I headed to the stairwell to see Sean kneeling on the landing.

His hands were over his ears, and I could see he was freaking out.

I left my gun on the step at the top and slowly walked down, kneeling in front of him. “I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t want to scare you, but I needed you safe. It’s over, I believe. I think we got them.”

He leaped into my arms and wrapped himself around me, sobbing. I got it. He’d never been through anything like that, and it was scary as fuck.

“Shh. I’m here. You’re safe, I promise.”

“Eh, that’s not entirely true.” I glanced up to see a brown-haired woman with a gun pointed at Sean.

“Hey, no. He didn’t do anything. Point that at me,” I encouraged.

The woman cackled like she was out of her mind. “I got no problem killing you, Green Beret. You’re as much of a scourge as him.”

My gun was two steps above my reach. I couldn’t get it without putting Sean in jeopardy. “Who are you?”

“I am a Defender of the Faithful. I am here to destroy Sean Fitzpatrick because he is an instrument of Satan. He will not become a martyr to the cause. He will be exposed as the vile creature he is, leading men down a sick and twisted path. His kind took my husband from his family.”

She hadn’t identified herself, but I didn’t give a fuck. I wanted to shoot the hag in the head, but I needed a diversion. I reached under my pant leg and unlatched my prosthetic as she spouted the same tired Bible verses her kind used as their call to action against the LGBTQ+ community.

“Oh, God told you to do this? To kill Sean? What, you got a hotline to heaven where you get your orders?”

When the woman’s gaze met mine, I shoved Sean out of the way and pulled my fiberglass foot out of the leg of my jeans, tossing it at the bitch’s head. She didn’t see it coming, and when the metal and fiberglass hit her in the face, she pulled the trigger and Sean fell to the ground.

There was blood everywhere. No, it wouldn’t fucking end this way.
