Chapter 27
TWENTY-SEVEN
PUCK
After splashing some water in my face and getting myself some food, I eased into the living room where everyone was gathered around Kieran.
Brigid was all smiles and Clancy looked more relieved than I’d ever seen him.
Everyone in their family held up a shot glass full of what looked like whiskey before clinking their glasses together.
Then, they all took their shot and slammed their glasses onto the coffee table.
“An Irish ritual when someone survives, apparently,” Stone said as he walked up to me.
I smiled softly. “Good for them. I’m glad he’s okay.”
He patted my shoulder. “Are you okay?”
I watched as Brigid peeked around her father long enough to smile at me and my heart did somersaults.
“Yeah, I’m perfect,” I said breathlessly.
Stone squeezed my shoulder before he pulled away, trading places with Brigid.
I watched as she came up to me and took my hand, and together she led the way down the hallway.
We made it all the way into her room before she closed the door behind us.
As she looked up into my eyes, I heard her flip the lock.
Before she dropped to her knees.
“Brigid, you don’t—oh, fuck,” I groaned.
She giggled. “Benefit to wearing sweatpants, I guess.”
With one hand pressed into the wall, I gripped her hair with my other hand.
Her warm, wet lips encompassed my morning wood.
The more she licked, the harder my cock became.
Growls fell forth from my lips as I pumped down the back of her throat, fucking her face and tugging on her hair as she hollowed out her cheeks.
“Jesus fuck,” I hissed, “just like that, Brigid.”
She hummed around my dick. “God, you taste divine.”
My toes curled into the hardwood floor as my fingers gripped her hair even tighter.
My balls pulled up into my body and my cock pulsed with a need to release as she wrapped her tight hand around the base of my dick.
She sucked on its tip, teasing it and wrapping her tongue around it as she slicked her hand with her spit dribbling down my girth.
And the quicker she worked me, the more I thrusted against her face.
“That’s it,” I growled. “Suck that dick. Milk me dry, beautiful.”
“I love you,” she choked out.
I dragged her lips away from my cock long enough to gaze into her eyes. “Say it again.”
She smiled. “I love you so much.”
I pulled her up by her hair and crashed my lips against hers. “My God, I love you, too.”
I hoisted her against the wall and pulled her panties out of the way.
She clung to me desperately, her lips peppering kisses everywhere her mouth could reach.
My dick sank effortlessly into her tight wetness as our bodies collided, shooting me into the clouds of ecstasy that cushioned our bodies.
Our hips rolled in sync with one another, our eyes locked in a dance of lust and passion.
And as I pinned her wrists above her head, her pussy clamped down around me.
“You always know what to do to me,” she gasped.
I leaned forward and nibbled on her pulse point. “And I’ll never stop learning how to drive you wild.”
We climbed the precipice of our ecstasy before we both fell over the edge. Her pussy gripped hold of me and refused to let go as she gasped and choked out my name. My body pressed flush against her own, her tits puckered and her body shivering as my balls shot their load deep inside of her.
And as we collapsed together on the floor, our intermingled juices dripped out from between her legs.
Marking me yet again as it soaked my balls.
“Wait, do you hear that?” Brigid asked breathlessly.
I squeezed my eyes shut and focused my ears before the sirens off in the distance caught my attention. “Yeah, I hear them, too.”
“Do sirens ever come this close?”
As they steadily approached, I quickly pulled away from her. “We have to go. Come on.”
A stampede of feet met us as we ripped the door open. With both of us stuffed back into our clothes, I took her hand and rushed out into the living room. Stone was packing things away and hiding them beneath floorboards while Clancy commanded his boys to do a hard reset on their phones.
Police officers by the boatload poured into our parking lot, and I knew we were fucked.
“What the hell is happening?” Brigid asked.
A knock came at the door. “Diego Martinez?”
Ruby’s gasp turned me in her direction. “What? They’re looking for you?”
And when I looked over at Diego, he had a sickened look on his face.
“Oh no,” I whispered.
The pounding happened again on the door. “Diego Martinez! Open up!”
Clancy walked toward the door. “We can’t ignore them. It only looks worse.”
But Ruby reached out for him. “No, don’t do—”
The second Clancy opened the front door, chaos ensued.
Lori screamed off in the distance while Ruby clung to Diego as the police wrestled him to the ground.
A man picked Ruby up around her waist and Puck took off, ready to put his fist through the face of the cop that dared lay hands on his sister.
It was absolute chaos as I watched the circus unfold before my very eyes.
Ending with Diego being hauled out in handcuffs.
“You’ve got the wrong guy! Please!” Ruby shrieked.
“Diego Martinez,” the massive police officer barked, “you’re under arrest for the shooting at a cafe in Encinitas.”
“What?!” Stone bellowed.
“Nooooo! Stop!” Ruby cried out.
The desperation in her voice pushed tears behind my eyes as Puck wrapped his arms around his sister.
Lori trembled in a corner, and I rushed toward her, wrapping her up tightly while Diego was hauled out of the fucking warehouse.
The police took a good look at the place before they stared us all down, as if to give us some sort of wordless threat on what might happen if they had to come back.
Ruby cried out for the love of her life while I held onto Lori as tightly as I could.
While they shoved Diego into a cop car and drove off.
