Chapter 13 Lex

LEX

My heart hammered against my ribs as West’s hands clenched at his sides. I wasn’t sure where the bravery had come from, but it swirled around me now. “You need to make a choice. Take what you want or leave me alone.”

Something in West snapped. He hauled me into his arms, his mouth crashing down on mine. There was no easing into this kiss. He drank me in like a man who’d been lost in a desert for months.

My legs encircled his waist, hooking at his back. His hardening cock pressed against my center, and I moaned into West’s mouth. The sound sent a wave of vibration through us both.

West turned, striding into my bedroom and slamming the sliding door behind him. A second later, my back hit the mattress, my mouth torn away from West’s.

He stared down at me, straightening. His fingers skimmed my jaw, moving down my neck to my breast and circling the peak of my nipple through the fabric. “Been dying to see what’s under this dress from the moment you walked out in it this morning.”

A smile stretched across my face. “Why don’t you find out?”

West’s hands ghosted farther down my body. The barest touch skated over my center, diverting to my leg. “Smooth as silk.”

West pulled off one boot and then the other. Then his hands were taunting my skin again, stroking up my thighs and dipping beneath the hem of my dress. “These damn buttons. They’ve been torturing me all day.”

The sundress I wore had a line of buttons down the front that held the fabric together. They were more for fashion than practicality, but I didn’t care. “They’re cute,” I argued.

“They’re gone.” West gripped both sides of my dress and pulled hard.

Buttons flew across the room as the dress ripped open. I gaped at him. “You did not just do that.”

West sucked in a breath as he stared down at me. His thumb stroked me through the lace of my thong. “You tell me you touch yourself thinking of me, I get in a bit of a rush.”

“You owe me a dress,” I growled.

“Worth it.” West’s thumb circled, and my hips rose to meet his strokes. “Need more?”

“Yes,” I breathed.

His fingers hooked in the waistband of my thong and tugged it down, tossing it onto the floor. He stared at the apex of my thighs. “So damn pretty.”

West closed the distance before I had a chance to brace. His tongue circled my clit, his fingers sliding inside. I nearly bowed off the bed.

“West…” His name curled around my tongue in a sensual caress.

He hummed against that bundle of nerves, and I nearly lost it. But this wasn’t how I wanted to come apart. Not the first time. Not with West.

I gripped his shoulders, squeezing hard. His head popped up, questions in his eyes.

“You. I want to come with you inside me.”

West’s brown eyes heated as a devilish grin spread across his face. He stood, kicking off his shoes and then pulling out his wallet. There was a flash of foil, and then he was tugging off his tee.

I had to bite my lip to keep another moan from slipping free. West was so gorgeous it was almost painful to look at him—a sea of tanned skin pulled taut over defined muscles. And when he shucked off his jeans, I had to suck in a breath. Even his cock was beautiful.

West rolled the condom over his length, and I swallowed hard as he stalked toward me. He bent, unhooking my bra and pulling it and the remnants of my dress free. “Need to see all of you.”

He kissed one breast, then the other, and then took my mouth, slow and deep. He pressed his forehead to mine. “It’s you and me. Like it always should’ve been.”

Tears stung my eyes. “You and me.”

West slid inside me. My legs encircled his hips as I arched to meet him. His strokes were long and languid at first but quickly picked up speed. I met him with each tilt of his hips.

Waves of sensation coursed through me, and I gripped West’s shoulders, trying to hold on.

“Not going to last,” he growled. “You’re too perfect. Been waiting too long.”

My nails dug into West’s back as my mouth fell open. He thrust impossibly deeper, setting off a storm of pleasure. Wave after wave crashed over me as I clamped down around him.

West came on a shout, sending us both spiraling. Together. It was more feeling than I’d ever experienced in a single moment. But, somehow, I’d always known that West would be more. Just as I’d always known that merely one moment with him would ruin me. But I welcomed the destruction.
