Chapter Eleven #2

Being careful not to lift my top too high and expose too much, I pull my t-shirt up to reveal the large mandala heart that rests just underneath my boobs.

I watch as all of the guys seem to gravitate towards me and seemingly at the same time reach out to brush their fingers against one of the sections.

It becomes glaring clear that the five sections are for each one of my men.

The dark purplish black for Hunter.

The bright sunshine yellow for Kai.

The deep forest green for Levi.

The rich royal blue for Maverick.

And finally, the calming sky blue for Jax.

As soon as their fingers touch the parts of the heart that belong to them, a rush of searing power flows through me causing my back to arch and the same white light that exploded from me in the alley at the club, encompasses me gentler this time as it travels from me and flows towards my men and down their arms.

It’s like the feeling I get with the sparks but a thousand times stronger.

The light gathers around all of the guys staying for a heartbeat as if assessing them before, suddenly it shoots straight back towards me.

The shock of absorbing the sudden abundance of light knocks the breath out of me and sends me spiralling towards the floor taking Maverick down with me.

“Sage? Titch? Are you ok?” Maverick asks from underneath me his arms wrapped around me causing a gentle electricity to hum through me instantly calming me.

“Yeah I’m fine, Mav.” I say as Hunter pulls me to feet sending the same calming sparks through me. “What the hell was that though?” I ask.

Jax starts to answer me but before he can, he and the others start rubbing their chests and without any warning, all of them apart from Jax, take off their shirts as Jax pulls his shirt down at the collar to expose the top of his chest, over his heart.

I’m suddenly surrounded by incredibly well toned chests and stomachs.

All of them with that delectable ‘V’ on their stomachs that drives me wild.

My mouth suddenly feels dry and I swear I can hear my pulse beating like a drum.

Holy hotness my men are fucking gorgeous.

My mind starts to veer off track and into some very X-rated places and I can feel the wickedly naughty grin adorn my lips, as my greedy eyes take in my men in all their half-naked glory. A throat clearing has my eyes snapping up to meet Kai’s.

“Beautiful, you’re going to have stop looking at us like that.” His voice is even deeper than normal, and his stunning grass green eyes have darkened with heat.

I clench my thighs together trying to assuage the ache building between them and causing several deep groans to erupt from around me. I take a deep breath trying to calm myself, knowing that they wouldn’t have just stripped for no reason.

Well I’m assuming they don’t normally just strip randomly and all at the same time, although a small part of me sort of hopes that they do.

I’m definitely not opposed to all the rippling muscles on display right now.

My eyes widen at my train of thought and my cheeks redden as I imagine them stripping down in random places, until I can’t help but giggle causing Levi to raise his eyebrow at me.

“Do I want to know what you’re thinking about Sage?” he asks me smirking.

Still giggling I shake my head.

“Screw that! I want to know!” Jax grins lavishly. “It seemed dirty.” He winks at me causing me to blush hard, damn it.

“Definitely dirty.” Kai smirks.

“Are you going to tell us Sweetheart?” Hunter says winking at me.

I shake my head and clear my throat desperately searching for something else to talk about.

Still staring at their gorgeous bodies, I spot a small mandala heart, outlined in black with a teal mandala pattern inside and just so happens to be my favourite colour, resting above each of their hearts.

It’s faded though. Like it’s an old tattoo.

“Did you all get matching tattoos?” I ask curiously, pointing at their chests.

They all look down and their eyes widen in unison.

“No, we didn’t.” Hunter says frowning.

“I felt it when the light went through us.” Kai adds.

“It must be our Soulmate Tattoo,” Levi states, “the book mentioned something about the Soulmate’s Bondmates getting a Soulmate Tattoo but not as intricate as the Centrum, since they carry the bonds of all their Soulmates and the Bondmates only carry the bond of their Centrum.” He explains.

“It’s faded though, that can’t be right?” Maverick questions.

“I think it might be time to call Mr. S, he obviously knows more about what’s happening.” Jax says firmly.

“Mr. S?” I question.

“He’s our boss, he’s also the one who gave me the book about Soulmates and told me I would know when I needed it.” Levi explains. “Everyone get dressed and I’ll set up a secure connection.” He adds.

We all go off in separate directions before I remember, I still don’t know where my bag is.

“It’s in your room Darling.” Levi smiles at me just as I’m about to ask him where it is.

I grin and kiss him lightly on the cheek as I pass.

“Thank you, Levi.” I whisper in his ear and smile as I see him shudder.

When I arrive back in the room I slept in last night, I glance around. I was too upset last night to take in any of the details of the room.

It’s a decent size at least double the size of my room at mothers, the carpet is thick and soft and a light grey colour.

The room is painted in a slightly darker shade than the carpet, adding to the overall soothing effect.

In the centre stands the large bed that we all slept in, with the white covers still rumpled.

Dark brown bedside tables stand on either side of the large bed with a silver lamp on each.

I wander over to the window on the other side of the bed that looks out over the back yard.

Turning to my left I step forward and pull open one of the doors on this side of the room, behind it is a small closet.

Striding back towards the bedroom door I pull open the other door to the right of me to find a small but neat and modern bathroom that I vaguely remember showering in last night.

Having done a loop of the room and realising I’m probably running low on time now; I rush over to my bag searching through it to find a suitable outfit.

Now that my exploration of the room is done my mind of course, immediately goes back to thinking about my five wonderful, amazing and incredibly handsome men.

My mind continues to wonder as I dress in black skinny jeans, a white tank and simple flip flops.

It is obviously going to be a learning curve for all of us and I’m not naive enough to think that it’s going to be all smooth sailing.

I mean there are six of us for fucks sake.

A relationship between only two people requires enough work, and most commonly fails because of a lack of communication, and that’s with only two people’s feelings and needs to take into consideration.

We are going to have to be aware of five other people. It’s going to take work, but I understand that if something is worth it then you have to be willing to put in the effort and fight for it, especially through the difficult times.

I am willing to fight with everything that I am for this, for my men. I have every faith that although it may not be easy it will sure as hell be worth it and whatever gets thrown at us, we will all get through it together.

I walk out of the room plaiting my long, dark hair into a French braid to keep it out of the way. I follow the voices into the lounge, grabbing a fresh cup of coffee on the way. I take a seat in between Kai and Jax and watch Levi as he finishes his phone call.

“ . . . yes Sir, right away.” He hangs up the phone and turns to look at us.

“Mr. S wants to see us right away.”

“On the secure video line?” Maverick asks.

“No, in person and he wants us to bring Sage, he said it would be incredibly uncomfortable for us to be away from her now, but he wouldn’t explain more over the phone.”

“I can’t go with you though, what about my mother? I can’t just leave without telling her and there is absolutely no freaking, way she would let me go.” I start to panic, I instinctively know it would be bad to be away from them not just uncomfortable, but really bad.

Jax crouches down in front of me and gently places his hands on my face.

“Calm down, Darling. I know, I can feel it too. We have a plan though and it will work, there is no way we would ever leave you behind. We can feel what it would do to us, not mention that all of us would simply hate to be away from you now.” He tells me gently, I can easily hear the sincerity in his softly spoken words.

I hear all the others chime in their agreement and my heart fills with joy.

Levi smiles and gently kisses my forehead before standing back up and addressing all of us again.

“As I said, we have a plan. Using our connections someone is going to contact the school and explain that there has been a last minute spot that has opened up. To go to an exclusive martial arts training facility for an undetermined amount of time and that you will have to leave immediately. The same person will contact your mother. Now we don’t want you to have to go back there so we have stated that you had to leave early this morning.

None of this will be suspect as you are eighteen and will not need a parental signature and as it’s for martial arts your mother will, hopefully be happy to let you go, although as you’re eighteen there’s not much she can do about it either way. ” Levi informs me.

“That sounds like an excellent plan, in regards to the school, but my mother was very specific about where I learnt to train. She will not be happy to find out I left to go to a training facility she didn’t approve of and will not be happy when I get back.” I grimace.

“Do you want to go back, Beautiful?” Kai asks intently.

“Fuck no!” I scoff.

“Then don’t, stay with us. It’s looking like it’s going to be ridiculously hard for us to be away from each other now, and we all want you to stay with us.” Jax says.

Surely it couldn’t be that easy? Just don’t go back to that witches’ house.

“I agree with Jax, Darling but one thing at a time. You don’t have to make a decision now.” He says calmly.

I nod in agreement and smile softly, glad that I don’t have to think about it right now.

“I can send one of the guys over to pack some of your things and stock up the alcohol. Is this all ok with you?” Levi asks.

I take a while to think about it. I honestly do not want to deal with my mother and the rest of the plan they suggested sounds like it will work.

“I agree but I have one adjustment to make, when one of you goes to pick up my things and drop the alcohol off could you also deliver a note that I will write explaining what’s happening as well.

My mother is more likely to believe it if I leave a note too, I’d like to cover all of my bases in case I do have to go back. ”

“Good idea.” Hunter agrees handing me a notepad and pen. “Although, I really hope you don’t go back, Sweetheart.”

“What about the ongoing case here? Mr. S can’t expect us to just abandon it surely?” Jax asks.

“No, he’s sending another team down to run surveillance, temporarily.” Levi tells them.

Everyone nods in agreement and I hand my note to Hunter who seems to have self-appointed himself as the one who is going to go to my mothers’ house.

“No-one is to go anywhere alone; Brent is still around and looking for Sage. Hunter take Jax with you to go to her mothers and be vigilant. We leave in three hours, after lunch. Kai and Mav pack the bags and sort the notes out for the temporary team.” Hunter warns us all.

Everyone starts to get up and sets off to do their tasks, I think of what I can do to help.

“I’m going to make lunch for everyone.” I state making my way to the kitchen to have a look at what groceries they have, so I know what I’m working with to make us lunch.

“You don’t have to do that, Sweetheart.” Hunter says.

“I know, I want to.”

“Ok, Darling. Everyone be back here by midday for lunch. We leave at one.”

Everyone sets off to do their own tasks, leaving me in my own world in the kitchen.
