Chapter 44 You're everything I crave.
"Bhaiyaah!" His brothers called him as he texted them about the situation. As soon as as he saw them, he hugged his three brothers while crying. It's the first time they're witnessing this version of his. They know he loves Vanya but to this extent, they had no idea.
"She'll be fine bhaiyaah!" Ariv said with a heavy voice as he himself couldn't see his elder brother crying vigorously. And he don't want to loose his new found mother in Vanya.
"She has to be fine for her family!" Aaryaant consoled placing his hand on his head.
"Is she critical?" Ariv scaredly asked.
"The doctors haven't come out yet!" Aaryaant informed.
After a while, a doctor and a nurse came out after checking her.
"Mr. Dandwani!" The doctor called out and they immediately strode to him.
"She's better..... It's because of falling with a jerk on a hard surface, her knee ligaments have dislocated which are already in the process of locating!" The doctor relieved them.
"How long will it take to recover?" Aaryaant asked.
"She might take a month to recover but don't let her walk or move her leg for more than one month. After a month, help her walk without pressuring the ligaments. Then the last check-up will be done in two months!" The doctor said.
"Also I prescribe you to not let her wear anything below her knees!" The doctor said and left.
"Avi go and look after the formalities" Aaryaant said.
"Ji bhaiyaah" Aavyaan said and left.
"Vir make sure to arrange my closet with short length and comfortable clothes!" Aaryaant said.
"Ji bhaiyaah!" Ariv said and left to make the arrangements.
"Aru go inform my three girls!" Aaryaant again said.
"Ji bhaiyaah!" Aaryan said and left.
Aaryaant sat on the bench looking at his brothers leaving to obey his orders. He was relieved feeling lucky to have his brothers.
Aaryaant entered inside the room after Vanya was shifted into a private ward room. He saw her sleeping soundly on the bed. Kissing her cheeks, he sat holding her hand.
After a long time, she flickering opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was his hand gently yet tightly clutching her hand. She smiled at the sight and turned her head to see him already watching her from the start. And her smile reached her eyes. She tried to lift her hand but couldn't as he didn't let her. It's the same hand, veer stabbed the broken glass.
"Don't!" Aaryaant coldly said. She frowned on his tone and expressions.
"What happened to you?" She asked. He royally ignored her and left the room. After ten minutes he came back with the whole family.
"Kaisi hai meri chidiya! " Kairav asked, caressing her cheek.

Vanya peaked from kairav's shoulder and indicated to him to keep quiet by placing her index finger on her lips. Everyone looked at Aaryaant, then at Vanya with wide eyes as none can make him quiet or even utter a word in front of him.
But here she's angrily ordering him to keep quiet and he isn't defying her. He obeyed her, gestured by zipping his lips with his hand.
"And yes I'm absolutely fine!" Vanya said.
"Yeah we can see di!" Ariv mockingly smiled at her.
"We'll aadhya wanted to take off an evil eye from her!" Kairav said while video calling aadhya.
She picked up in one ring and did some circles with a black thread while murmuring something.
"Mere bachhe ko kisi ki Nazar na Lage!" Aadhya said and Vanya gave her a teary smile. Kairav side hugged her after ending the call. Ariv and Aaryaant were looking at them with keen interest.
"Vir get me some healthy food and it shouldn't be tasteless or else madam will throw tantrums while eating!" Aaryaant said. Ariv chuckled and left.
"Everyone! go back to work! I'm here!" Aaryaant said.
"But bhaiyaa-" vartika said but was interrupted by him.
"My little baby don't worry I'm here!" Aaryaant said cupping vartika's face.
"Ohkay! Take care of yourself too!" Vartika said and he smiled.
"Dad Aaric will drop you!" Aaryaant said.
"Young man, I can drive" kairav stated as a matter of fact.
"Fine but still my guard will accompany you!" Aaryaant said and kairav sulking agreed.
She was all the time looking at him craving for his attention when he was busy. And now there's no one except her and him. She cleared her throat to gain his attention. He looked at her before moving towards the couch and started working, deliberately ignoring her.
"Will you tell me what happened?" She asked, confused about his behaviour.
"As if you don't know!"
"I really don't know!"
"As I remember, you promised something to me. Right?"
"Ohh that!"
"Yes that!"
"So, I-"
"You what"
"I didn't break my promise!" She stammered.
"I almost died Vanya!" He uttered looking at her emotionally.
She understood the sincerity of the situation and tried to stand up but couldn't as her legs were still under anesthesia. She got scared and again tried to move but couldn't move.
"Aarya!" She whispered, almost crying gazing at her legs.
He understood what she might be thinking. Immediately standing up, he went to her engulfing her in his arms.
"I-I can't m-move my legs. W-Why?" She asked hiccuping.
"Relax! Nothing has happened. It's Just your ligaments have dislocated. You'll again start walking in two months!" He consoled her in his arms placing small kisses on her head.
"You aren't lying?" She asked while sobbing.
"No I'm not. And I promise you'll start walking before two months." He assured kissing her cheek soundly. And she hugged him hiding herself in his embrace.
Ariv entered with their meal and saw Vanya sleeping in his arms. He gently placed the bags on the table without making any noise.
"Bhaiyaah if you need anything, I'm just a call away!" Ariv lowly said. Aaryaant nodded and Ariv left.
"Anyu wake up!" Aaryaant said removing the strands from her face.
"No!"
"Achha wake up, eat then sleep as much you want!"
"No!"
"Do you want me to wake you my way?" He mischievously asked.
"I'm awake!" She sat up immediately and said while making a low bun. But as she couldn't do it, he made it for her.
He laughed at her and went to take the bags. After eating, he cleaned her mouth and made her lie on the bed. Setting back the bag, he joined her on the bed, taking her in his arms. He didn't let her hug him back as her right hand was badly injured.
"You know I already started feeling for you before I knew that you are only my Anyu!" He said caressing her hair.
"And I felt like I'm betraying my Anyu by feeling for Vanya!" He expressed.
"And see your kanha ji made it simple for me by making you both. My Anyu and Vanya!" He said pecking her lips. She smiled at him still drowsy with the effect of medicine.
"Let me confess something too!" She said.
"When I saw you for the first time, I felt some unknown sparkle towards you. I didn't know what that feeling was but it was the best feeling I had ever felt." She said resting her head on his chest.
"And when I slept in your arms for the first time that night, I knew I need you. I didn't had any nightmare or panic attack in the middle of my sleep. I slept peacefully that night in your embrace." She gazed at him placing her chin on his chest. He smiled pecking her nose.
"You can't even think what I'm feeling after hearing this!" He expressed lovingly looking at her. He thanked his god thinking about her.
"You're everything I crave for !"
