Chapter 54 Adorned in mehendi!
The Kapoor Paradise was filled with love, laughter, giggles, music and the aroma of mehendi as the mehendi ritual started.
Vanya was in her room waiting for the invitation to grace her presence among the people. A fuchsia pink saree paired with a deep neckline and half sleeves blouse draped around her figure elegantly. She looked enchanted as the colour reflecting her skin giving a soft look. She opted for no ornaments but a bindi adoring her forehead as he loves to see her with bindi.
Blushing at the thought, she clicked some pictures of herself.
"Di dadda-" vani stopped seeing her elder sister decked up beautifully.
"How do you always look so enchanting?" Vani gasped. Vanya chuckled and without saying anything, she left.
The fierce flame is a blushing mess!
As she reached the massive garden of theirs, the dhol started beating. She turned to see Ariv playing the dhol for her while swaying himself.
Reaching them, she swayed with him as he handed the dhol over to the man present there.
"Let me just take evil eyes off you! Bohot log hai yahan meri di ko nazar lagane k liye!" He said applying a dot of kajol behind her ear makes her smile contently at him.
"Fir toh muje hamesha tumhari Nazar utarni padegi! My homeboy!" He grinned at her.
"True that!" He said making them laugh.
"Is that gorgeous woman my chidiya?" Kairav dramatically said from behind them.
"Vir what was the first thing you did after meeting her?" Kairav asked hopefully.
"Take evil eyes off her!"
"That's my boy!"
"Move aside!!!!!!!!" Aaryaant yelled from behind as he still couldn't see his woman. They were standing covering her completely.
"I need to see my woman!" He cried.
"I need to see my love too!" Vanya said pushing everyone aside and coming in front of him.
She twirled, showing him the saree. But he was so engrossed in admiring her innocent smile, twinkling eyes and her red nose.
"How am I looking?" She asked, once she was standing by his side.
"I am at a loss for words to capture such beauty!" He whispered gazing at her from head to toe.
"Really!!"
"You look no less than a God!" She uttered, impressed by his choice. He wore a black kurta with loose black pants. There was a beautiful gold zari work done on his kurta. Black makes him look more efficient and powered!

"Amm hmm!" He said picking her and twirled up in the air. Her giggles and laughter filled their surroundings the others admired them.
"It's time for the ceremony to start!" Kairav said.
He came forward. Gently grabbing vanya's palm, he guided her to the well decorated swing and made her sit on it.
It is believed that the ritual only starts when one of the family members applies a small amount of mehendi on the bride's hand for a symbolic start.
Taking the mehendi, Kairav made a small V on her hand. She gazed at him confused as he was supposed to write A.
"Before being someone's sister, mom and wife. You're VANYA. Self-made powerful women!" He cleared her doubt.
"I love you dadda!" She smiled with teary eyes.
"I love you too meri chidiya!" He kissed her temple showing his love for her as a father but not a father in law.
The professional mehendi artists begin designing intricate patterns on her hands and feet. Her sisters, relatives and friends also get the mehendi applied.
Aaryaant's dadi came forward to apply mehendi on Vanya's hand but Aaryaant refused to let her as he doesn't want his bride to get evil eyes. She was disheartened by this but stayed quiet knowing the mistakes she had done are nothing in front of this.
"Bhaiyaah you also have to apply a little amount of mehendi!" One of his cousins, said.
"I'll be gratified!" He said forwarding his hand to Vanya.
"You'll be the only one to design your name!" He said watching her giving confusing reactions.
She smiled while heartedly before grabbing his hand and made him sit beside her. But instead, he sat on the floor beside her legs.
"It will be easy for you!" He said placing his palm on her lap.
She kissed his hand before engraving her name in a beautiful manner by her right hand as the artist was applying the mehendi on her left hand.
Her both hands were done and now it was time for her feet to be dipped in the colour of mehendi. Aaryaant didn't leave her for a second. He tilted her saree up to her knees so that the artists could start their art on her feet.
The guests enjoyed the delicious snacks, sweets and drinks while celebrating. And the boys made sure to comfort their girls.
Aaryaant left her and came back with a dish full of fruits, nuts and berries. Sitting beside her on the swing, he forwarded a berry to her.
"No! I'm fine!" She said with a smile.
"I don't remember asking you!" He said and shoved the berry into her mouth. She made a crying face but ate silently as she saw him giving her stern expressions.
"Put a slice between my teeth!" She said and he obliged.
She held the slice between her teeth and leaned forward, offering him the other half to eat with her. He smiled at her before eating the half and gently pecked her. He winked at her, completely enjoying her blushing state.
After making her finish everything, he turned to put the dish back and saw avi was making vani drink grape juice. He smiled at them and went back to his woman.
"They look cute!" Vanya said adoring Ariv and vartika.
Ariv was sternly looking at her as she refused to open her mouth so that he could make her drink lemonade for energy.
"You'll not open your mouth?" He asked her and she denied with her head leaned down.
"Fine then You're responsible for this now!" He said gently grabbing her jaw and forcefully made her drink the whole glass.
He went to put the glass back and came with a dish full of fruits and nuts. Sitting beside her, he saw her making faces at the fruits.
"They are! Indeed!" Aaryaant adored them.
"I'll kiss you so roughly in front of everyone if you showed tantrums eating this!" He warned her and she turned a deep shade of red. Silently eating everything he was making her eat.
"You're Nirdayi!" She cursed him.
"Thank you!" He said wiping her lips with a tissue.
"Did you eat?" She asked him.
"Hmm!"
"Don't lie to me!"
"Hmm!"
"I swear I'll ruin this mehendi of mine if YOU DID NOT GO AND EAT RIGHT NOW!" she warned him in a low voice. He immediately left to take care of her demand.
After half an hour, he came back and sat beside her.
"Did you?" She asked him.
"Good" she smiled.
Watching her grandsons happy with their partners, she blessed them and prayed for their happiness, prosperity and a healthy life ahead. And hoping for their forgiveness.
