Chapter Eleven

Quill

He’s cute. He’s cute. I want to mate with him and make porcupettes.

My beast had no filters. He was referring to Pierce. But Rafe was not to be left out.

Can I claim the wolf, too? Can I?

His emotions went all over the place when he was active. Which, admittedly, hadn’t been much due to my own neglect. Now, it was as if he was dancing inside me.

As soon as Rafe opened the front door to his loft, my beast wanted to rush to the bedroom. He had zero social graces when he was so excited. I had to admit, my heart fluttered in excitement. Every cell of my being was aroused for my mates. But my parents had taught me some manners and I held back, waiting to be invited.

“Would anyone like anything? A snack? Something to drink?” Rafe asked.

“Water would be nice,” I said. My head was spinning from their scents. Still the shock of finding out I had two mates made me reel.

“Yes, water,” Pierce echoed.

Rafe led us through a huge, high-ceilinged room lined with windows on one side. The view was of the lights of downtown, flickering against night’s horizon. The floors were wood with dark rug accents in the living area. We walked past a huge, L-shaped leather couch facing a glass coffee table. On the wall hung the hugest flatscreen TV I’d ever seen. Below the TV was an electronic fireplace. Awesome.

We traipsed past recliners and end tables and fancy lamps. Most of the furniture was either black or white. He had beautiful orchids on a long silver table by one of the windows. They looked healthy and strong.

The kitchen had all-black appliances. As Rafe opened the fridge door, I saw it was packed with yummy food. Wine chilled on the top shelf.

He must be loaded. I’d done well in my corporate job, but nothing that could afford a luxurious loft like this.

He handed me and Pierce our waters then set out a tray of neatly arranged cold cuts. “Looks like my housekeeper left me this. Help yourselves.”

I was hungry but not for food.

I glanced around the loft again, taking in everything. Where was his bed?

As if reading my mind, Rafe led us around the back kitchen wall to another large area with windows lit up by the downtown view. Against the back wall was a huge bed covered with a slinky, black comforter. It looked bigger than a king-size. What were the odds that it would fit all three of us so perfectly?

“You knew we were coming and ordered this bed delivered by phone while we were at the bar,” I accused.

“Nope.” Rafe winked. “I love big beds. I like a lot of room.”

“It shows,” Pierce said, twirling around the huge bedroom area. He bent his knees as if about to hop upward. “This rug is so thick, like walking on clouds. I could sleep on it and not notice I was on the floor.”

Rafe smiled. “You can sleep wherever you want. But I was hoping you would both join me.”

Pierce went to him and leaned his head against his broad shoulder. “I still can’t believe it all. Shifters. You both are shifters. And I’m an omega.”

“Yes, you are,” I confirmed.

“I’ve always felt different than the way the other betas described their feelings. But lots of people feel that way, right? Different. Weird.”

“You’re not weird. You’re perfect,” I said, going up to both him and Rafe and putting my arms around them. “A beautiful omega human.”

“I’ve never responded to anyone like to you two. Like I need you. More than just for sex. I want you to—um—I don’t know, own me or something. It’s weird. But I need you to say I’m yours or, well, like that.” He shrugged.

I kissed his forehead. Rafe kissed just above it and said, “You’re ours. Fate says so.”

I pressed into his back. “Mine.”

“And I can actually have children.” It wasn’t a question like it had been in our discussion at the club.

We both nodded.

He looked happy and frightened at the same time. Then he said something that surprised us both. “Confession time. I always secretly wished I could have children. It wasn’t a gender question; it was that I always wondered what it would be like. I’ve dreamed of it.”

“Of being pregnant?” Rafe asked.

Pierce nodded.

“Somehow, deep inside, you’ve always known you’re an omega. You just didn’t have a word for it until tonight,” Rafe said.

Pierce put one arm around Rafe and one around my waist. “I’m so happy. Just nervous. You’ll explain things if I have questions?”

“Anything you want,” I said.

The kiss came naturally, without any bumps or wobbles or hesitation. The three of us bent our heads in the exact ways we needed to meet in a three-way lip-lock.

A zing of electricity went through all our bodies. Something inside me opened up wide, a sensation I’d never known. Now, I sensed them stronger in my mind. Not exact thoughts but emotions. Joy, ecstasy, anticipation, nervousness, triumph, arousal. All emotions were ramped up, human and beast alike. The wolf jumped up and down on his hind legs. My porcupine wiggled his spiky ass. And our omega was experiencing slick for the first time in his life.

I instantly felt his panic. I pulled back. “It’s natural. You’re making slick. All omegas can.”

“Oh my.” Pierce’s cheeks were flushed.

When the download of that dropped from our alpha minds and into Pierce’s, it was as if we’d had a whole conversation about it in a matter of seconds.

“I need my clothes off now,” Pierce demanded.

“Happy to oblige,” Rafe replied.

We practically tore him out of his lovely tight jeans and long-sleeved pullover. He was even more beautiful without clothes. Like a sculpture bathed in city light. The traits in many omegas were less or no body hair, a lean waist, baby-soft skin. He had all of that.

As we removed his briefs, his pretty pink cock bounced up. The insides of his thighs were damp and shiny.

“Amazing,” Rafe and I said at the same time.

My body burned.

We ripped off our clothes and tackled him to the bed. Naked bodies met, pressed, undulated. Hard cocks rubbed. Instantly, three sets of moans filled the big loft.

Rafe and I bent our heads to Pierce, licking all over his body. When we got to his cock, we had him coming in minutes. But he was just getting started. He turned over, ass up, and began to beg.

“I need you to fill me. I’m desperate. Please.”

Rafe’s glorious dark eyes met mine. “Who first?”

Pierce called out, “I don’t care. Either one of you. Now.”

Rafe’s cock slid across Pierce’s ass cheek and found its target. Before he thrust, his eyebrows questioned me.

“Yes,” I said. “Do it. He needs you.”

Rafe plunged into Pierce’s slick and gaping hole with a huge groan.

“I’ve never felt like this. Not ever. Harder!” Pierce started off making sense, but his vocalizations quickly turned to gibberish.

I kissed Rafe, running my hands up and down his back, over his tight-as-a-drum ass, and waited for my turn. Truthfully, it didn’t feel like waiting. My senses were awash in the pleasure of my mate. As if I was inside Pierce while at the same time Rafe was in me. I felt them both as if we were one tight unit in the vastness of the all.

Both Rafe and Pierce came hard. My arms went around them both, holding them while Rafe’s knot held them together for a long few minutes.

“Not done. I need you, Quill,” Pierce said. He turned over and drew back his legs, exposing his wet hole.

Rafe moved out of my way and I steered myself inside the warmth of my omega. His body welcomed mine. His arms went around my back. We were made for each other.

I leaned down and kissed him deep. He gasped for air, and his mouth moved over my jaw and to my neck. I bent my head, exposing my neck to him.

His mouth closed on the skin between my shoulder and neck and bit down. Hard.

I saw stars. But not from pain. Ecstasy rolled through me in a tumble of golden flashing lights and joy. He’d just given me a claim bite without ever having to be told to do it. Instinct had led him. Now, everything was shiny, bright, and whole.
