31. Everest #2
“Yeah it was so peaceful listening to you fuck…” he trails off, as Daemon walks into the kitchen, his eyes instantly locking with mine.
“Good morning,” he says softly, moving straight to the fridge to start pulling out ingredients, and it’s obvious what he’s doing when he starts pulling out all of Archer’s favorite breakfast foods.
We all greet each other with a varying degree of grunted good mornings, before the kitchen settles into a comfortable silence.
Daemon gets breakfast going before pouring himself a coffee, and though Harden and Griffin remain quiet, they still seem to be watching one another and communicating silently.
I’ve definitely missed something when it comes to them, I just don’t know what.
Like they are fucking magnets for one another, Archer appears a little while later, going straight to Daemon and wrapping him in his arms from behind. “You left me,” he scoffs playfully, nipping his ear, and I avert my eyes only to find both Harden and Griffin now watching them with keen interest.
What the fuck is going on?
“Someone has to feed you,” Daemon grunts back, and I can tell he’s trying his best to allow my brother free reign to touch him.
Archer has only told me a little of what happened to him, when he was drunk and sad one night, and after learning Harden’s secrets, it suddenly seems a little harder to swallow.
“You fed me plenty last night,” Archer teases, just as Aurora appears and groans in disgust.
“You could at least let me eat first before you make me nauseous,” she complains, and my eyes instantly track her as she makes her way to the stool beside Harden.
There is a slight limp in her step that no one else seems to notice but me, and it strokes the beast inside of me.
Archer only rolls his eyes, jumping up onto the stool closest to Daemon and looking between us all. “So did anyone besides me get laid last night?”
Daemon sighs slightly, more than used to his bullshit, but still scolding him for it. “Baby, please,” he pleads, even though he knows how dysfunctional our sibling relationship is.
“That’s what you said to me last night, when you were begging for my ass,” Archer winks, leaning in to press a kiss to his financé’s lips, and Harden makes a small sound in the back of his throat.
When Archer pulls back, Griffin opens his mouth to say something, but Archer instantly points at him and cuts him off.
“Not you, dick, I saw the way you were dancing with my sister,” he snaps, a real anger I’ve never heard before lining his tone, and Aurora instantly starts to blush, her eyes immediately snapping to mine.
Which means I see the light disappear in them instantly when Archer adds, “What about you, Monroe the Hoe, any pussy?”
I love Arch, I really do, but right now I want to take the knife Daemon is using to slice up some fruit and fucking stab my brother with it.
That feeling only grows wider and more far spread when Griffin smirks. “Yeah, Monroe, how was your night?”
I’m going to fucking kill him, and the smirk on his face tells me he knows that.
I swear Harden touches him beneath the island, because his gaze snaps away from me to his lap, but I don’t have time to even decipher what the fuck is happening with them, because when I look back up, I find Daemon watching them with a knowing look too.
When he meets my stare I swear he subconsciously nods, confirming something I don’t even know myself, before I push my attention back to my brother.
I can’t exactly tell him I had the best sex of my life with our fucking sister last night, so I remain quiet, all too aware of Aurora’s leg nervously bouncing up and down.
“Really? You were there as Archer Gray’s little brother, with that fucking face, and you didn’t nail any pussy?
” Archer’s tone is laced in disbelief, as he scoffs in disappointment.
“I’ve seen you fuck some absolute tens. Remember that TA last year?
Or those twins? Or even that young secretary your dad had to fire?
” He starts reeling off my conquests and my ears start to burn, as Aurora’s shoulders slump more and more.
I open my mouth to say something, but what would I even say?
That I’ve been obsessed with the little sister he asked me to protect?
That I fucked her so hard last night that it took multiple scrubs to get her blood off my dick?
I doubt he’d appreciate either, and thankfully, Daemon senses I need his help and comes to the rescue.
“Alright, come on, you really need to learn boundaries when it comes to your siblings,” he scolds, shaking his head, and Archer looks at him completely perplexed.
“Why? You split me seven ways to Sunday last night, and they don’t care,” Archer shrugs, and Harden makes another noise, as Griffin smirks, clearly enjoying this whole thing.
“Yeah, Arch, we really do care. I don’t need to hear about any of my brother’s conquests,” Aurora snaps, and I feel like a fucking dick for even having any, and wish I could erase every girl I used to try and make my feelings for her go away.
After that, we enjoy a breakfast that doesn’t involve any sex talk, and instead, to no one’s surprise, revolves completely around hockey.
We make plans to see some of Archer’s games over the next few months, and talk about Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Once we’re done, we pack up our things and bid both my brother and Daemon goodbye.
Roger is taking us back to Fairfield, because we’re all back in class tomorrow, and we need to make sure we have everything in order.
“I need to go back to my dorm first,” Aurora announces to no one in particular, and I see her flick her eyes between me and Roger in warning.
“Sure thing, Miss Gray,” he calls over his shoulder, and I make sure my voice is quiet when I lean toward her.
“You have two hours to shower, change, and pack, before I come looking for you princess,” I whisper, knowing the other two can hear me, but not caring in the slightest.
However, it’s the heated gleam that flashes across her stare at my words that grips my attention. It’s a look that has me thinking that maybe fucking her in front of my best friends might not be a bad idea after all.
Fuck.
I really am screwed when it comes to her.
