CHAPTER 19 (One love) #2
Before retiring, I decided to check on Krish first, as I really wanted to contribute in some way to the plan he and Ayaan had devised for their mission to capture the Bat gang.
As an agent of GLEN, I wanted to be an active participant.
Maybe if I showed enough interest, Krish might agree to let me join.
I made my way to his room and saw Ayaan coming out, carrying a file. Spotting me at the door, he smiled.
“Is Krish inside? I wanted to speak with him,” I asked.
“He’s in the bathroom,” Ayaan replied. “But you can wait for him.” He turned to leave but paused, adding, “Oh, and thanks for watching out for Meher today.”
I shrugged. “That’s my job.”
“I know,” he smiled back with a nod. “Get some rest, Trisha. You’ve earned it.”
I nodded, thanking him. “Good night, Boss.”
As Ayaan left, I debated whether to intervene now or come back later. Deciding to meet with Krish immediately, I barged into his room and shut the door behind me.
The moment the door click shut, Krish shouted from inside the bathroom.
“Ayaan, are you still there? If yes, pass me a towel, please. I forgot to take it.”
I sighed, imagining how someone could forget to grab a towel before showering. Opening his closet, I fetched a towel and first locked the bedroom door, ensuring no one would see me inside. After all, we were in the Shergill Mansion, and our relationship was still a secret.
“Ayaan, don’t tell me you didn’t find that silly towel in my closet. You need to check your eyesight, buddy,” Krish mocked from the bathroom.
I held back a chuckle, realising he had no idea it was me and not Ayaan in the room. Knocking softly on the bathroom door, I waited for him to extend his hand to grab the towel before playfully pulling it away.
“Ayaan, what the f*ck? I’m dripping wet here. Give me the towel. Play these tricks with your partner, not me,” Krish groaned in frustration.
“I’m doing the same, Krish...” I replied, unable to resist teasing him further.
The moment he heard my voice, he peeked his head out from behind the bathroom door, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he laid eyes on me.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, a hint of surprise in his tone.
“I wanted to discuss something very important,” I explained, handing him the towel. “Come out soon.”
Instead of taking the towel, Krish grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the door. Surprised by his sudden move, I managed to shrug off his hold and pass him the towel.
“Krish, what are you doing? Come out soon. I want to get out of this dress too.”
With a roguish grin, he shut the bathroom door, leaving me waiting for him in his room. I couldn’t help but grin at his playfulness.
A few minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Krish emerged, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist, beads of water glistening on his toned physique. My breath caught in my throat as I drank in the sight of him, desire pooling in my belly.
“Now, what was so important that you had to barge into my room?” he asked, his voice low and teasing as he closed the distance between us.
I opened my mouth to speak, but the words seemed to evaporate on my tongue as he drew nearer, his masculine scent and raw presence rendering me momentarily speechless.
Krish chuckled, clearly aware of the effect he was having on me. “Cat got your tongue, Agent Chaudhary?”
Regaining my composure, I swatted his arm playfully. “Don’t be cocky, Director. I wanted to discuss my involvement in the upcoming mission against the Bat gang.”
His expression sobered, and he nodded, understanding dawning in his eyes. “I see. And what did you have in mind?”
“I want to be an active participant,” I stated firmly. “I’m not just Meher’s bodyguard; I’m a trained GLEN agent. I can contribute, Krish. Let me help take down those who threatened our lives.”
Krish regarded me silently for a moment, his brow furrowed in contemplation. Finally, he sighed, reaching out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind my ear.
“You know how I feel about putting you in harm’s way, Trisha.”
“And you know I’m more than capable of handling myself,” I countered, leaning into his touch. “We’re partners, Krish. In every sense of the word. Let me have your back on this, the way you’ve had mine.”
He studied me intently, his eyes searching mine for any trace of doubt or hesitation. Finding none, he nodded slowly.
“Alright. We’ll go over the details together and figure out how best to utilise your skills.”
Relief and excitement coursed through me, and before I could stop myself, I flung my arms around his neck, pulling him into a fierce embrace.
“Thank you,” I whispered, pressing a grateful kiss to the corner of his mouth.
Krish chuckled, his arms encircling my waist as he drew me closer. “You don’t need to thank me. We’re in this together, remember?”
I nodded as he looked at me and smiled again. “I, too, have something to tell you.”
Krish cupped my face in his hands, his eyes shining with a depth of emotion that stole my breath away.
“I spoke to Dad about us and cleared everything up.”
My eyes widened in shock. I had strictly told him not to tell his father yet.
“But Krish, why did you tell him?”
“Why not?” he asked. “I didn’t want to wait any longer for him to know what a grave mistake he made by keeping us away, Trisha. Now he realises that you are the one for me,” he murmured, his thumb tracing the curve of my cheekbone. “And he approves.”
I was speechless. His father approved of us being in a relationship? That sorted almost everything that had kept us away so far.
“Once all this is over, I’m taking you to Austria to meet him officially as my partner. How about that?” he asked.
My heart swelled with the same all-consuming love I felt for this extraordinary man. Our lips met in a searing kiss as I searched for the perfect reply to give him.
Krish pulled me into his embrace, racing my heart while his eyes burned with want. I shivered at the feeling of his lips trailing along my collarbone, leaving a blazing path in their wake.
“Did you meet Meher’s cousins at the event?” he murmured huskily, unhooking the strings of my choli one by one.
Even in a situation like this, where he was devouring my body, I knew how to rile him up.
“I did,” I replied with a coy smile. “And I loved a few of them.”
Krish’s jaw clenched. I gasped as he undid the final hook, my choli hanging loose at the back. I instantly held it at my front, not letting it fall.
“You are mine, Trisha Choudhary. And I’m the only one you’re allowed to love,” Krish commanded before kissing me again.
His fiery kisses along my neck made my knees go weak.
“I was dying for this moment since morning…” he murmured, nuzzling his nose over my collarbone. “To help you out of this attire.”
I froze, suddenly feeling very exposed. Sensing my hesitation, he tilted my chin up to meet his tender gaze.
“Hey, we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to,” he said softly.
“I didn’t freeze because you’re undressing me,” I began, leaning in closer to him, my voice dropped to a teasing whisper. “I froze because your towel has fallen down, and is now pooling at our feet, though I didn’t look.”
Krish’s eyes widened in realisation, and he bit his lip, noticing his state of undress.
“Oops,” he muttered, his cheeks tinged with a hint of embarrassment.
Then, a mischievous gleam lit up his eyes as he met my gaze, and I couldn’t help but return his smile.
I leaned in teasingly, “You’re at my mercy now, Director, and not vice versa,” I added, diffusing the sudden tension with humour.
But before I could move and look away, giving him the time to dress up again, he cupped the back of my neck and looked intently into my eyes.
“I don’t need your mercy, Trisha, I need your love.”
His seductive words only inflamed the smouldering desire between us.
Dropping my hands, I let my choli fall, baring my skin to his hungry gaze.
I cupped his face and kissed him with everything I had, pouring out my passion.
Soon, his mouth was mapping every inch of my tingling skin as I took the lead, guiding him backwards towards the bed.
By the time the backs of my legs hit the edge of the mattress, Krish had divested me of my lehenga as well.
It pooled at my feet as he laid me down, nipping and stroking every tender plane and curve.
Want grew into a desperate need as his hands and lips trailed along my body with unmistakable hunger.
I craved more of his caresses, just like I needed air to breathe.
His mouth feasted on every inch of my skin, but when he buried his tongue inside me, a swirling, all-consuming ecstasy overtook my body.
I’d never been this close, this exposed to any other man before, and having this moment with Krish, making love to him, I was awash with love, desire, trust and completeness. This went far beyond the physical—it was the deepest bonding of two souls.
“There’s no going back after this,” Krish said huskily, moving up and aligning himself over my body again. “Our missions can keep us apart physically, Trisha, but our hearts will stay connected forever.”
“Always and forever,” I replied in my haze, wanting him to continue.
Krish watched me with hooded eyes as I writhed beneath him for more friction of our bodies, until he could no longer delay entering me.
The next few minutes were painful, but his kisses, his husky assurances that the pain would melt away, were all I needed to breathe normally again and continue moving our bodies together in perfect harmony.
With every touch and every kiss, we explored the depths of our desire, reaching new heights of ecstasy together.
For the next few hours, the worries of the outside world faded away. It was just me and Krish in that dark cocoon of love and pleasure, our bodies united as one forever.
