Chapter 37
It has been a month since Rebekah left town and Elijah trying to reunite the broken, angry factions.
Juniper celebrated with the wolves on them breaking the curse that Celeste had put upon them for years.
She has also kept tabs on the Mikaelson family.
Finding out that Klaus is sleeping with Genevieve, the same witch that held him and Rebekah captive.
The Queen of Demons knows that all the factions are spiraling out of control; she decided to help them by sending her demons to terrorize them.
Juniper is currently sitting on a bench in the park writing in her notebook with her head set on listening to samples of different recorded versions of a song that she has been working on for months.
With a heavy sigh she stops her music and scratches her forehead.
She tries to focus on her new song that she is writing but her hands start burning.
June quickly scratches her hands to stop the sensation, Klaus walks up to her holding a canvas, canvas stand, and paint.
"Hello, little demon," Said Klaus, smirking.
"What's up, princess?" June smiles. "You painting your feelings again?"
Klaus ignores her question, "What are you writing?"
"I'm finishing some lyrics for a song," She looks down at her notebook.
"I didn't take you as the musical type," he chuckles, "Can I hear one of your songs?"
"Actually you can help me make this decision.
So I have this song that I recorded three different versions of because-well I'm weird like that- but now I have to choose which one sounds better to upload it problem is I don't know which one to upload.
So I need your artistic ass to tell me which one sounds better. "
June hands him her head set to put on, she places her phone on top of her notebook waiting for him to completely put on the head set.
"This is the first one." She presses play with a shaking finger.
June watches Klaus intently noticing how his pink lips want to twitch into a smile at the sound of her voice.
He nods his head slightly finding the song interesting.
Once it's over Juniper plays the second one.
Once again the Hybrid King is listening intensely noting how soft this version is compared to the first one.
Klaus understands the lyrics better in this version his smile falters slightly.
The song finishes and June waits to for him to tell her to play the third.
With a small nod of his head, he tells her to play the third song.
The third song combines the roughness, and edge of the first song with the mellow and softness of the second.
Her soft voice echoes in the background of the song.
June bites her bottom lip noticing how focused he is while listening to her song, afraid that he doesn't like it.
The song ends, Klaus takes off her headset.
"I'd have to say the third song is the best." Klaus smirks, "You have a beautiful voice."
June smiles, "Thanks. So what do you plan on painting today?"
"Usually the inspiration comes to me as I paint."
"Interesting. How-" June gets cut off by a certain red haired witch.
"Don't you two look cosy," Genevieve speaks sitting on Klaus' lap.
"Don't you have someone else to bother bitch?" June glares at her.
"No I don't," Genevieve pulls Klaus in for a kiss causing June to gag.
"What are trying to do swallow each other?!" The Queen of Demons asks irritated and disgusted. "I have to go to the library, see you later princess. Bye witch bitch."
"Wait" Klaus pulls away from Genevieve, "Why do you have to go to the library?"
Juniper rolls her eyes, "Like you care, but if you really want to know it's because my mic broke like a month ago and the library is the only place that lets you use theirs without having to pay an arm and a leg. It's shitty but I'll take what I can get."
With that Juniper Claire leaves the two to go to the library to record her new song.

The next morning Elijah had asked June to stop at the Compound to help him with something. Since June was bored she agreed to help.
She follows Elijah into Klaus' room. Her dyed curled hair is put up into a messy ponytail, two pieces of hair flow on each side of her face. Her beige heels click against floor. Elijah lets her go first, June sees Genevieve sitting on the couch while Klaus paints.
"You didn't tell me it would be here." June scrunches her nose in disgust.
"Now, love, be nice." Klaus smirks. His smirk falters when he turns to her.
His colored eyes trail up and down her body.
His eyes trail down at her white unbuttoned silk blouse, showing her pasty skin.
The blouse is tucked into her cuffed ripped skinny jeans.
Regardless of the flawlessly done makeup she's wearing he can still see the bags under her eyes. And her snow like skin.
"Like what you see, princess?" June smirks slowly turning showing off her outfit.
"Now who would like that?" Genevieve insults.
"Men and women, obviously."
"Why would-"
"Because I'm fucken hot, unlike you zombie witch bitch."
"Okay, June that is enough," Elijah speaks up. "Genevieve I trust you can find your clothing and the door."
Elijah speaks up holding up Genevieve's heels by the strap watching her leave the room.
"You do recall that...woman. Tortured our sister."
"She told us the truth about our sister's treachery." Klaus argues.
"As a consequence Rebekah will be gone forever," Elijah rebuttals.
"A desire which she apparently harbored for quite some time!"
Juniper watches the two siblings argue, knowing that Klaus hasn't made up with his demons.
"Niklaus, it has been a month. Now I feel our sister's loss as deeply as you, but you must stop distracting yourself with this ridiculous behavior and channel it in some kind of action." Elijah raises his voice surprising June.
Well someone's demon is showing. June thinks, she smirks pouring herself and the two siblings a drink.
"Why must I exactly?" Klaus pouts stomping back to his painting.
"Because the city is used to having a King." June answers handing him a drink before trying to give Elijah his. When noble Original declined the drink she poured it into her glass and drank.
"Exactly. You wanted this throne now you must accept the responsibility that accompanies that."
"Apologies, but I'm rather ensconced in other pursuits." The Original Hybrid grumbles.
"If you can so easily neglect your home," Elijah takes the paint brush from his brother and throws it back in the canister of brushes," I wonder what will become of your daughter.
Have you forgotten what it was like to live beneath the threat of violence?
We must work together, Niklaus. Let's make this city whole again. "
Klaus walks closer to Elijah. "Perhaps it is too broken to mend." He reaches his arm out to grab the paint brush that he was using; pushing past Elijah he goes back to painting.
"If you won't do anything, I will." Elijah leaves the room.
"What are you up to, little demon?" Klaus asks turning to June.
"Nothing really just the usual. Slaughtering people, taking their demons.
" She answers. "Can I?" June holds out her hand for the paint brush that Klaus is using.
He hands her the brush watching her slowly walk closer to the painting.
Her hand slightly shakes as she fixes one of the lines on the beautiful painting.
"Are you okay, luv?" Klaus gets the paint brush handed back to him.
"Yeah. Just a little tired." With a small shrug of her shoulders June begins to walk away.
