CHAPTER 43

RAGHAV

Wedding Night

We are back home, and I still haven’t fully wrapped my head around what happened tonight.

I married Siya again, but this time it was different.

I proposed to her, and I did it the right way.

This time, I asked for her consent before claiming her as my wife.

This time, I gave her a choice. I stood before the woman I had once dragged into my life against her will, looked her in the eye, and asked her if she would choose me.

And she did.

Men like me don’t grow up dreaming about proposals, wedding rituals, or second chances. We grow up learning how to survive. Love was always something that was meant for other people. Softer people. Good people. Not someone like me.

And yet today, all I wanted was to give my woman the wedding she had once dreamt of.

The wedding I had stolen from her the first time.

The thought that I would do all this for a woman, that I would willingly move mountains just to see her happy, still feels unreal.

But for Siya, I would do it all over again. Every single time.

After returning home, her mother performed our grihapravesh ceremony.

I carried Siya across the threshold in my arms, and although every part of me wanted to take her straight to our bedroom, I had no choice but to put her down in the living room as calls from Trisha, Simran, and the rest of the family started pouring in.

Now, an hour later, after Baba and her mother retires to their respective rooms, I finally head back to the bedroom where I know my wife is waiting.

The moment I step inside, I stop, my gaze fixed on the woman reflected in the dressing mirror.

My wife. My Princess.

She’s standing before the dresser and is slowly removing her bangles one by one.

The dupatta still rests over her head, framing her face.

Our eyes meet in the mirror before she turns to face me.

I remove my jacket and toss it onto the nearby chair, all the while holding her gaze.

Neither of us says anything. Then she tilts her head slightly and glances around the room before looking back at me.

“Considering everything you’ve done today,” she says, raising an eyebrow, “I honestly expected you to decorate the bedroom too.”

I exhale slowly. “I actually thought about asking Esha to do that, but she was already busy with the temple arrangements. And honestly… I didn’t want anyone else to do it.”

Siya’s expression softens immediately. She understands that this villa is my sanctuary, and I’m not comfortable with anyone other than my family entering this space.

“That’s okay,” she nods in understanding. “The fact that you even thought about it, wanting to make tonight special for me and giving me the kind of wedding night I had dreamt of… that alone is enough.”

Then she reaches up and lightly brushes the collar of my shirt, a mischievous smile appearing on her face.

“Although I have to admit, the thought of the feared Dark Prince decorating a room with flowers and candles would’ve been fun to watch.”

I narrow my eyes at her, but Siya just bites her lip, clearly trying not to laugh.

“I mean it,” she continues, enjoying herself far too much. “Now that’s something I would’ve loved to see.”

I step closer to her, and she doesn’t back away My gaze first falls on the sindoor in the parting of her hair before dropping to the mangalsutra around her neck. I gently take it between my fingers, unable to stop looking at it.

Siya finally breaks the silence. “What happened?”

I lift my gaze to hers. “The last time we got married, the mangalsutra I tied around your neck wasn’t mine. I’m glad you never wore it again after our marriage.”

My fingers trace the tiny black beads before settling on the pendant… a heart-shaped solitaire diamond shimmering within an infinity symbol. A symbol of forever wrapped around a single promise.

“This one… I chose myself. Exactly the way I thought you’d like it. Simple. Delicate. Not too flashy.”

“Wow… so now you know about my taste in jewellery too?”

I smile. “There’s nothing I don’t know about you, Princess. Except for a few beautiful secrets I plan on discovering tonight…”

“Like?” she asks, slightly confused.

I slide my arm around her waist and pull her closer until there’s barely any space between us.

“Like how you moan when I devour every inch of your body... that throaty sound you make when I’m buried deep inside you...

that flushed look on your face when I work you up with my mouth and fingers...

” She clutches the front of my shirt, her breathing turning uneven as my nose brushes lightly against hers.

“Raghav…”

She tries to stop me by pressing a finger against my lips, but I gently move it aside. “... and that breathless look in your eyes when you’ll finally confess how much you love me.”

Something flickers in her eyes at those words. “You think I’d forgotten? I remember you still haven’t told me you love me.”

The flush on her face is replaced by a naughty grin. Siya slides her arms around my neck and leans closer.

“Then make me say it. I’ve heard there’s nothing impossible for you.”

My eyes darken instantly.

I love challenges, especially the ones coming from her. Before I can respond, she pulls away again with another teasing smile.

“But for now…” She reaches up to remove the necklace around her neck. “Let me get rid of this jewellery. It’s so heavy.”

I catch her hand before she can remove anything.

Turning her around, I let my gaze travel over her before reaching for the dupatta on her head.

I begin removing the countless pins holding it until it slips free.

Putting it away, I move to the clasp of her necklace.

Siya shivers as I unhook it and place it aside.

One by one, I take off each piece of jewellery from her body, my eyes never leaving her for long.

When I finally reach for the doris (ties) at the back of her top, Siya turns around, places both her palms against my chest, and pushes me. I fall back onto the bed, half sitting and half lying down, balancing myself on my elbows as I look up at her. She looks entirely too pleased with herself.

“Patience, RK,” she giggles. “And don’t tell me you’ve already started expecting certain things from tonight just because that’s how mafia marriages usually work.

” Her eyes sparkle mischievously. “Don’t get your hopes up too high.

Earning my consent for our wedding night won’t be as easy as earning one for remarrying me. ”

I know she’s just teasing me, and I f*cking love it.

Before she can move away, I push myself up, grab her wrist, and pull her towards me. Siya stumbles straight into my arms. The next thing I know, I’m almost lying back while she’s half sprawled over me.

I look up at her, my hands resting firmly around her waist. “Princess, I’ve wanted you since the first time I saw you. Since then, I’ve been living on edge.” My gaze drops briefly to her lips before returning to her eyes. “Don’t test my patience tonight.”

Siya only smiles. The look on her face tells me she wants this too.

She’s just making me work for it. Before she can tease me further, I shift and roll her onto the mattress.

Siya gasps as she lands beneath me. I brace myself over her.

She looks up at me, her cheeks flushed. I catch both her wrists and pin them above her head before lowering my face to the curve of her neck and kissing her pulse.

Siya shivers. I can feel her every single reaction… the catch in her breath, the way her body leans into me, the silent invitation in her touch. My wife isn’t resisting me. She’s just giving me every reason not to stop.

“You want this just as much as I do, Siya,” I whisper, releasing her wrists. “Accept it.”

The moment she’s free, her fingers slide into my hair and pull me closer.

So impatient. Just like me.

“I want you to be mine tonight… heart, body, and soul.”

Our lips find each other the very next second.

Kissing Siya is the only kiss I know. It’s imprinted in my soul now, and I can never stop with just one.

My tongue slips into her mouth, and she welcomes me, cupping the nape of my neck and kissing me back.

Her fingers move to the buttons of my shirt while mine untie the remaining doris at the back.

We pull apart only for her to get rid of her top and her lehenga.

She’s sprawled on the bed now in just her black lingerie. I take a moment to simply admire her. The woman beneath me, my wife, is simply breathtaking.

Her eyes darken with desire the moment I shrug my shirt off my shoulders. Siya reaches for me again, her palm gliding across my chest before wandering lower, exploring my body leisurely. I close my eyes as her fingertips roam over my bare skin, every gentle caress making me want her even more.

Only Siya could turn me into putty with her touch.

When her knuckles graze my a*ousal, my eyes open again. The awe in her expression is such a turn on.

“The gods really knew what they were doing when they created you, Raghav,” she murmurs, her fingers still brushing over my hard-on. “And they created you only for me.”

I look at her, surprised. She’s right. I was made only for her. Just like Siya was always meant to be mine. Only mine.

Grabbing her wrist, I pin her hand again to the mattress and lean over her.

“I have been too patient, Siya. But I can’t anymore… unless you want me to.”

She holds my gaze for a moment, then a wide smile spreads across her face telling me everything I need to know.

SIYA

I want Raghav. And I’m ready to make this night memorable for us. So despite the little nervousness over what’s about to come, I give him a nod.
