CHAPTER – 11

Ranveer patted his sister to sleep, she lay her head on his lap while he leaned his head on the bed rest. His palms ruffling her hair softly. After some time he too drifted off and it was after an hour that he woke up to his sister's mobile ring disturbing his sleep. He quickly silenced the ring before it could wake her up. He sighed looking at the caller Id. He was contemplating whether to pick up, but soon his phone started vibrating with Abhyansh's home extension that belonged to his study.

Ranveer sighed, he supported his sister's head on the pillow and walked out of his chamber taking his Isha's and his phone with him. Both the phones started ringing again and he got irritated at his brother-in-law's desperation.

He picked up both the phones together...

"I am your brother-in-law as well as wife for now, tell me, whom do you want to talk", Ranveer said putting both the phones in either of his ears...

"Which idiot talks to the same person on two phones", Abhyansh said with irritation at his brother-in-law's idiocy.

"When you can call on two phones simultaneously, why can't I talk on two phones at the same time", Ranveer argued...

"Idiot Rajput, I called two different people but you are talking to the same person", Abhyansh argued...

"Says who ? You may be one person, but your personality has 100 different people hidden in you, so technically I should be entering the Guinness Book of World Records for dealing with 100 people at a time", Ranveer said and Abhyansh wanted to slap some sense into Ranveer's head so that he understands when to taunt and when to stay silent.

Here he was worried for Isha since she didn't reply to his texts nor did she call him to ask about his lunch and that seemed very strange. He knew she was mad at him but that didn't stop her from caring for him earlier and he knew it wouldn't stop her now as well. He wanted to check if she was fine but instead, he had to handle his brother-in-law's nonsensical talks.

"Rajput... Do.Not.Test.My.Patience, Where is Isha ?", Abhyansh asked in his signature cold tone which gave the hint to Ranveer.

"Isha is sleeping, and before you ask, she is fine, just a little upset, I'll drop her there tomorrow", Ranveer said

"Tomorrow ?", Abhyansh scowled...

"Yes Ranawat, Tomorrow... Did you hear 2 years later ?", Ranveer asked

"Shut up Rajput", Abhyansh groaned

"Looking at your reaction, I thought you heard wrong", Ranveer teased his brother-in-law more...

Only he knew how much his heart ached to hear about Abhyansh's loss. Ranveer couldn't even imagine a scratch on his sister's body and his brother-in-law saw his sister die in front of his eyes... He knew his brother-in-law might have faced many betrayals and had gone through terrible times if he had become such an emotionless beast as he is today but he never imagined he had lost something so dear to him and that was the major reason for his transition. Ranveer is yet to know about Bhuvan and all the other things Abhyansh had gone through.

His heart ached at his brother-in-law's suffering and he wanted to hug Abhyansh tightly consoling him but he knew their relationship wasn't of that sort. So, he teased him in their equation diverting his attention for a while.

"I want my wife at home tonight", Abhyansh demanded.

"Huh... Ranawat...", Ranveer started but Abhyansh cut him off...

"I want my wife with me... Don't make me repeat... And ask her to call me once she wakes up... You sure she is okay ?", Abhyansh asked, his tone unsure at the end, he was worried for her...

He guessed she might have gone to talk to her aunt and there are chances Nandini Rana would have spat the past, of course, the lies (according to him), but he couldn't stop his wife, already he was guilty of being unfair to her by hiding the truth which she deserved to know. He didn't want to do it anymore so, he left the decision to her, it was her choice whether to wait for him to tell the truth or believe her aunt.

"She will get fine Ranawat... Don't worry, I'm here, I'll take care of her", Ranveer assured his brother-in-law...

"That woman opened her mouth... Huh... ", Abhyansh stated, and Ranveer's silence confirmed it... "Did Rani sa cry ?", Abhyansh asked with worry...

Ranveer liked how Abhyansh referred 'Isha' as Rani sa and not by her name... He could hear the immense love and respect in the tone he held for his wife. Was this the same man who disrespected her in his mad hatred and made her his slave ? Ranveer wondered

"Yeah... She broke down remembering her parents...", Ranveer said and immediately regretted realizing his brother-in-law's harsh breaths... "It would be painful for any child to hear all this and then their struggling days before their death... All this took a toll on Isha... ", Ranveer said intentionally avoiding 'Advaita's topic as he knew how his brother-in-law would react to it. He didn't like anyone talking about his sister's death, he made sure none did that's why no one belonging to the young generation knew about the Ranawat princess.

But Ranveer's careful avoidance of that topic caused Beast unwanted doubts, such as if his wife was really worried about her father's suffering more than his pain of losing his sister? Does it mean she believed her aunt without waiting to hear his side of the story... He wanted to know her thoughts. He had belief in his wife, she would respect his feelings and wait for him to reveal the whole past before coming to a conclusion, but he also knew how strongly she believed in her father's innocence, and a daughter would always incline to believe that her father is not guilty rather than otherwise, he thought.

"Did she believe in Rana's story?" Abhyansh asked, his tone was harsher.

Ranveer understood what might be running in the beast's head and he cursed himself for the lack of clarity in his words, so he quickly corrected his sentence.

"She didn't, she said she refuses to acknowledge what her aunt has said was the truth, she would only decide once she hears your side...", Ranveer cleared beast's doubt but he wanted to divert him as he couldn't discuss this topic anymore as he was afraid he would slip his tongue and talk about Advaita. "But I am disappointed Ranawat, as her husband, I thought you knew her enough but clearly you don't, my Ishu would be broken to know this", Ranveer acted...

He understood Abhyansh and where he was coming from but that wouldn't stop him from teasing his beast of a brother-in-law.

"Rajput... Don't you dare say a word to Isha", Abhyansh warned, his wife was already very mad at him, now if she got to know about this, with the extra masala added by his brother-in-law's broadcasting channel, she would even stop talking to him... God! He needed to shut his brother-in-law's mouth.

"WOAH! Is that fear I am hearing Ranawat ?", Ranveer expressed his shock... Was his little sister actually capable of scaring the BEAST ? a man who was feared by the strongest of the strong? Pride filled in Ranveer's chest.

"Rajput... Speak about this to anyone and you'll see what I would do", Abhyansh warned his irritating brother-in-law.

"I won't, why would I after your sweet little warning ? But... I'm super happy... I thought I would die without seeing you fear something at least once in my lifetime, I kept looking for that one thing that could scare you all my life, but I didn't know I was having 'it' or better say 'her' with me all the time", Ranveer teased, well he wasn't exactly teasing, it was true, Ranveer, for years, kept looking at the thing that could intimidate the BEAST like he does everyone, but he couldn't find it. But now, he was happy, very happy.

"Bring my wife home till evening", Abhyansh said and hung up, otherwise his brother-in-law would eat his head... He cursed himself for giving away his emotions that too in front of that stupid Rajput...

Ranveer laughed at successfully irritating his brother-in-law, it gave him a kind of kick, but he couldn't forget the little fear in his tone, he never heard any emotion in Abhyansh's tone, it was always neutral, cold most of the time, even if he is madder, he just increases his tone a decibel but never puts an emotion in his tone while speaking to anyone except for his wife. But now, it started changing bit by bit and he liked it.

After a while, Isha woke up, Ranveer didn't raise the topic about the past and Isha too stayed silent. Not even a drop of energy is left in her to discuss the past, she purposely avoided it.

"Bhai... Please drop me home...", Isha said after freshening up... It's evening and she didn't even realize she slept for the whole day.

"You are in your home Ishu", Ranveer frowned, he didn't like his sister calling only Ranawat palace her home... Rajput palace is also her home... It belongs to her more than anyone and he would like to keep it that way...

"I know bhai... I was talking about the home I stay in with that rude husband of mine", Isha said, she is mad at how he talked about their separation... He would get his punishment for sputtering nonsense, she determined.

"If he was rude and you are pissed at him, then why go to him huh? Stay for today, in fact for a few days, that would be his punishment", Ranveer suggested... "By the way, why are you pissed at him ?", he added

"Don't even ask... But yeah about your idea, I must say...", She said and Ranveer smirked assuming his sister was going to praise him for his idea... "It's imprudent", she said snatching his smirk.

"Ishu...", Ranveer glared at her...

"I was mad at him because he was wrong then why should I leave my home? He should be the one doing it", she said and Ranveer looked at her with wide eyes...

"What did he do that you are thinking of kicking him out of his own palace ?", Ranveer asked astonished.

"His own palace ? It was mine too, he keeps rubbing it on my face that Ranawat palace belongs to me more than him, now is the time to show him the weight of those words", Isha said

"Ishu... Poor Ranawat... Why are you torturing him like that ? You are not my little Ishu... you became a sly woman... Does every woman become like this after marriage ?", Ranveer asked earning a glare from Isha.

"No bhai... There is always a wonderful man called husband behind this transformation", Isha said smacking his brother's arm... "By the way... aren't you showing too much compassion for Rana sa ? Why don't you share his punishment? I'll lower his punishment but you have to bear it from Ragini? What's say ?", Isha said...

"No thank you... Who said I'm compassionate about your beast of a husband? I'm not... Do whatever you want to", Ranveer said making his sister laugh... Both the siblings knew Ragini was much more dangerous and Ranveer already feared her.

"I already told you, stop calling him that... Now, drop me there... I just hope he didn't have spicy food in lunch... I forgot to ask Ma to prepare him some bland food, I thought I would go back by then", Isha said

"You don't have to worry about him, and it's been so many days since his surgery, why are you still giving him bland food? He is fine and he will be fine always, nothing could happen to him", Ranveer said dismissively waving his hand and picking up his car keys from the holder.

"Bhai... It's not a scratch or normal wounds that wouldn't require any post-care, he was shot twice and the wounds were deep... stop normalizing his pain...", Isha said not liking the way her brother said it...

"I know Ishu, but it's not the first time for him, he was trained to face all this, Ranawat is strong, that's what I meant... and you know how fussy he is about food, so all I meant was give him proper food, his mood would automatically get better, and he won't irritate you anymore", Ranveer said, Isha rolled her eyes and walked with her brother to the exit.

The brother-sister reached the Ranawat palace... Isha saw Amruta sitting in the hall and reading a magazine... She walked to her, Amruta greeted the Rajput siblings and then Isha asked about Abhyansh's lunch. Amruta told her that Abhyansh hadn't come down for lunch which surprised her.

"He didn't even have lunch ? Was he so busy ?", Isha asked in surprise, her husband wouldn't like to miss meals at the dining table.

"Yeah, I was surprised, he informed me via Ramlal that he won't be having his lunch in the dining hall", Amruta said and Isha nodded walking towards her chamber.

She walked into the study to see him working... He instantly recognized her presence and sprang towards her... He took her in his arms... He didn't ask her anything as his words might trigger her pain... She closed her eyes taking in the bliss his warmth.

"You didn't have your lunch ?", she asked disentangling from his embrace...

"I did... Your mother-in-law didn't make bland food and you asked me not to have spicy foods until I recover completely... So, I cooked for myself", he said and her heart melted at how cutely he sounded, as if her words mattered to him the most.

"Okay...", she replied giving him a curt nod.

"Rani sa...", He started but she cut him off...

"You don't have an explanation, so don't even try giving one...", Isha said

"I'm not explaining, I just want to say sorry... Do you think I love hurting you ? No, it aches me more than you... But you didn't leave me a choice, you were so determined to not see a doctor, and yet you want to hear the whole truth from me ?", he said

"Rana sa... Do you think I am wrong in demanding for truth ? Especially after what that truth did to our relationship... And today I got to know a figment of it... But I'll wait for your side... Right now, I don't want to think about it, I'm blocking those thoughts, so please don't talk about it now", Isha said and he pulled her into his arms...

"Sh... Okay... Don't think about it bacha...", he said ruffling her hair softly... She breaks the hug and moves away drawing a frown from him.

"Get out...", she said calmly and his frown deepened...

"Rani sa ?", he questioned... Did he hear her right? She wanted to kick him from his study but why ?

"I can't bear your presence in the palace, so get out...", she said, her fury returning at how he talked about leaving her if she chose her father.

"Fine... How long ?", he asked accepting her punishment... he knew he made her furious and he deserved the punishment but his acceptance took a U-turn hearing her...

"I don't know, maybe a week or a month, I don't know, I want you to eat your own words... You want to get separated from me right ? Now live separately... I'm freeing you", Isha said, he thought she would ask him to stay out of palace for a day or 2 but this is too much.

"Isha... You knew why I had to say that...", Abhyansh tried but she didn't budge, he understood she was now determined to kick him out, he had to do something... "Rani sa... All the important documents are in here and I have to offer prayers to 'Mahadev' every day and if you kick me out of the palace, where would I sleep ?", he said and she raised her brows...

"I agree with your first two points... but the 'sleep' excuse is a bit too much... You hardly sleep... You only sleep when....", she started but soon shut her mouth, he only sleeps after making love to her and she couldn't say it out loud... He was a beast in bed and even talking about it made her go red...

"That's what I'm saying... you are snatching my sleep by kicking me out", he said huskily, pulling her into his arms, and placed his lips on hers, sucking her petals but soon she pushed him breaking the contact.

"Don't even try this trick on me, it's not going to work", she said and he frowned...

"It's not any trick... I can't resist you and it's a fact, you are my solace and a man like me can sleep only in his solace... You can't be so merciless to take it away, punish me in some other way Rani sa", He asked, his eyes begging her to be a little considerate.

"You should be merciless while punishing someone for their mistakes Rana sa, I have learned it from you...", she said winking at him but he soon remembered his way of punishing her... He leaned towards her kissing her forehead closing his eyes trying to hide his fury on himself and at the same time regret, but she felt his fast-beating heart.

"Rana sa...", she said placing her palm on his chest feeling his fastened beats... "What's wrong ?", she asked...

"Nothing... I'll leave for office after dinner", he said moving away, giving one final forehead kiss to her.

"Actually no, I have thought about it thoroughly, I can't kick you out of the palace, you need access to your study for the important documents and offer prayers every morning... So you can stay in the palace but you can't enter our chamber...", she added at the end earning a groan from him.

"Fine...", he said walking towards his desk sulking...

"You should be happy I'm allowing you inside the palace, don't sulk", she said, he glared at her but didn't say a word...

"Ji Rani sa... Aur kuch ? (Yes Rani sa... Anything else ?)", he asked, but there wasn't any sarcasm, he genuinely asked her so that he could obey her orders, he knew she was upset and he would do anything to cool her down. She bit back a smile that was about to slip, her husband looked hot with his dominating personality, but his soft and obliging nature was so homely and she fell in love with him some more every time he showed this side.

"No...", she said turning to leave...

"No need to hide your smile", he said looking into his files, she turned to give him a surprised look...

"Nothing can be hidden from those Eagle eyes huh...", she taunted him...

"Thanks for the compliment... That's why you love my eyes so much", he responded smugly... She shook her head and left from there...

At dinner, everyone settled in the dining hall. She served her husband the bland food which he ate expressionless but everyone knew he was having a hard time... Ranveer and Pratap enjoyed Abhyansh's misery while Amruta and Avyan sympathized with him, Rajmata Devyani Devi was neutral, smirking internally at his grandson's situation. But soon, all their feelings turned into shock upon hearing Isha.

"Bhairav... Get the first guest chamber in the left wing ready... Rana sa will be shifting there for a few days...", she announced shocking everyone. Abhyansh never stayed in any other chamber other than his own. All his properties have his chamber designed in a particular way. Everyone was waiting for him to retort but he was diligently eating his saltless food as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.

Avyan hid a chuckle while Ranveer gave a pride-filled look to his sister. Seeing the king not responding, Bhairav got the whole picture.

"Ji Rani sa", Bhairav said bowing down and left from there...

Bhairav recollected an incident that looked very similar to the one that took place a couple of minutes back, then too Isha was serving Abhyansh, and he was having his food followed by his family, but the only difference was it was Abhyansh who was announcing punishment for Isha while now the cycle took a U-turn. Karma is really a bi**h. Don't know what all his Maharaj had to bear, the karma that's in his fate, for what he did to his Rani sa, Bhairav wondered, he also knew whatever it is, Abhyansh would face it with open arms as he welcomed any pain and punishment for what he did to his wife.

"The next time you do something like this, I will announce your punishment in front of the whole palace, Yeh bhi aapse hi seekhe hai hum Rana sa(I have learned this too from you only)", she whispered in her husband's ear. Her taunt and seriousness in her tone made him understand that she wasn't saying it just like that, she meant every word and even that thought made him uncomfortable... He hiccupped suddenly, and Isha passed him some water rubbing his back. All this surprised everyone else, even after all these days of seeing Isha's normal behavior with Abhyansh, they didn't get used to it as the BEAST never allowed any of them to be like that but he sure started changing bit by bit for them as well.

-------------------------------------------------------

Days passed and Abhyansh's punishment continued, he hated it so much, many times, he just wanted to sneak into his chamber and into his wife's arms but the fear of getting caught stopped him. His wife might be a heavy sleeper but she would feel his presence strongly even in her sleep, he didn't understand whether to get happy seeing her immense love that she could recognize his words and his presence even in sleep or feel sad for his current situation.

It's been days since he properly slept, and so, Isha helped him sleep in the afternoon for some time in his room attached to his cabin.

"You are worse than a kid, even kids could be left in some elder's care if the mother is busy but you ? I can't leave you in anyone's care, you won't eat properly, won't sleep without me... keep getting angry with everyone... keep drinking...Tell me what should I do with you ?", she asked one day getting irritated...

"Nothing, just stay with me...", he replied irritating her...

"But you wouldn't change ?", Isha asked and he nodded frustrating her more...

She left his cabin in irritation making him smile at his cute Rani sa.

------------------------------------

Avyan's 'roka' arrangements started and Isha looked after them. Rajmata and Amruta helped her, and sometimes Ranveer and Abhyansh did too. Everyone suggested she take Avyan's help as well, but she refused, she declared that Avyan wouldn't work even a little in his wedding preparations, he would just enjoy them, and of course, would detail them if he had any plans or ideas about a theme but that is all, he wouldn't work on it. Isha wanted him to just enjoy the functions, and now work for them. Isha's pampering is hated by the brothers-in-law, better known as the Rajput-Ranawat pair.

His bhabhi ma's gesture touched Avyan and love towards him made him feel blessed, but how would he tell her that he would have taken part in the arrangements if his would-be wife was equally happy or she was even a percent interested in all these, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Even though he wasn't sure they would be happy, he promised to give his 100% into this marriage.

He told his sister-in-law not to stress about the arrangements, just hand over the arrangements to some event managing company but Isha refused. Isha also called Anshi to know if she wanted the function to be in a particular way but even she seemed disinterested. Isha understood the reality, she already knew it and honestly, she expected this, but she was happy at least they both were in contact with each other. After Avyan talked to Anshi about pursuing her further studies abroad, she was grateful, though Avyan was disappointed with her gesture, she also showed little trust in him just like Abhyansh expected her to. And their engine took off though at a languid pace...

The preparations went in full swing... The relatives and guests would be arriving the next day so Isha decided to revoke her husband's punishment for the time being, she didn't want anyone to talk behind their back about her husband, that would be an insult to him, though no one dares it, she didn't want to put on a show to anyone outside her palace.

So, she walked to his study to inform him of the same. He looked at her sensing her presence but frowned at her when she walked towards him.

"Rajput, I'll be there by 7, guide them to the conference hall", Abhyansh spoke into the phone and hung up...

"You are going to the office ?", Isha asked looking at his attire...

"Where are your Payal (Anklets) ?", he asked seriously, ignoring her question... "Did you take them off ?", his tone held offense... He loved the anklet sound a lot, her anklet bells always managed to calm his stress... and they made their lovemaking so memorable every single time, that's the most loved sound for him after his wife's voice. Even thinking about it turned him on.

"No Rana sa, Why would I ?", she answered knowing his attachment to her anklets... "While I was looking after the arrangements in the morning, one of them broke, so I had to take them off", she answered softly...

"So ? You could have worn another pair...", he complained... his frustration is clearly visible...

"Ansh... baba calm down, will you ? All other pairs I own, the ones you got are very heavy and are worn only on special occasions, I can't wear them daily, they weigh a lot", she said calmly rubbing his forearms... and he realized his blunder, yes all the pairs he got for her are heavy. "Acha... leave about it, You are going somewhere?", she asked

"Yes, Jaipur, have a meeting with the defense ministry of Greece in our Rajgarh palace", he informed and she nodded in understanding, she didn't want to waste his time anymore, if he was holding the meeting in Rajgarh palace, then the guests must be very important, Rajgarh is the biggest palace among the ones Abhyansh owned in Jaipur and is used only for some very important meetings or guests.

"Okay, I won't take much of your time then... Guests would be arriving from tomorrow, though they would be staying in the front palace, I don't want to take any risk, you can shift to our room till Avyan's roka", she said and he pulled her by waist holding her tightly...

"Are you sure ? Am I allowed to worship my Rani sa then ?", he asked huskily, kissing her earlobe... she closed her eyes unable to handle his proximity, this man played with her hormones as if he was a champion, well he was, her head replied and her body responded instantly agreeing.

"We have an agreement, did you forget ? Inside our chamber I'll be your wife always, so yes, I won't stop you from claiming your rights there", she said

"Only you have rights on your body, if you ask me to stop, I have to stop despite my need, urge, or any fu**ing emotion, respecting your consent is my foremost priority and it would remain that way...", he said cupping her cheek...

"I gave you all rights on my body, You are my husband and I did it willingly Rana sa", Isha said holding his palm...

"A woman should only give consent on her body, not any rights, no man deserves to have a right on a woman's body, giving rights meant the right to hurt you too, and if that's the case, it didn't remain marriage anymore, it became slavery", he said, regrets washed his eyes about how he made her his slave. She cupped his cheek bringing him out of his thoughts... "So, yeah... Anyways, I don't want rights on your body, but on your heart... the whole heart should belong to me, only I should rule it", he said and she giggled...

"You are so big that my heart has no place to fit anyone else", she teased him... he glared at her for talking as if she would have fit others if she had place... "Okay okay, just joking, by the way, What I meant was the one who punished you was Rani sa, but inside that chamber is your wife, so you can have her", she said smiling cheekily at him who bit her cheek for teasing him... "Okay now... go, you are getting late", she said

"Indeed I'm", he said smirking at her... OH! That smirk meant danger...

"What's running in your head", she asked

"I need to rush now...", he said and she nodded understanding about his important meeting, so she didn't stop him anymore... only if she did, she would have gotten a hint about the adventure her husband was planning for them that night.

"Rajput... Handle the clients... John would lead the presentation, you lead the negotiations... I won't be coming", Abhyansh informed his brother-in-law...

"Wait! What ? Ranawat ? What's so urgent that you are leaving me in the middle of a mess, don't do this Ranawat, this is my first arms deal... I can't handle it alone", Ranveer muttered... He could have handled any other deals with any organizations but this is a government agency, and the country's defense ministry is at the other end and he wasn't sure how to handle them, and the worst part is he didn't do his homework for the first time as he was busy in spending time with Ragini... Every time he made sure to do his research before attending any meeting. He thought Abhyansh would be there and he would be leading it, so he neglected it.

"I trust you Rajput", Abhyansh said and headed to buy anklets for his wife.

Ranveer cursed the cause that stopped his brother-in-law from attending the meeting not knowing that it was his own sister herself.

Abhyansh returned at night and Isha was waiting for him in the hall angrily pacing here and there.

"You are here... Bhai called me, he told me what you did... If not for the meeting, where did you go...", Isha bombarded him with questions...

"Sh... Calm down...", he said in his usual tone... He cursed his brother-in-law for complaining every little thing to Isha, his brother-in-law enjoyed filling his wife's head against him, if not for their immense love, he would have gotten them divorced much before, Abhyansh groaned thinking about his annoying brother-in-law.

"Fine... let's go to our chamber and talk... Wait! if you didn't attend the meeting, you didn't have dinner with them... huh... I'll serve dinner for you, it's not too late", she said but he shushed her.

"Will you listen to me first ?", he asked placing a finger on her lips...

"Yes, Okay, let's go in", she said as they were standing at the entrance of the main palace, not completely at the main door but at the alley to enter the hall.

They took two steps but Abhyansh didn't like his wife's steps without the anklet sound so he held her wrist stopping her.

"What...", her words were in mid-air when he took out the anklet jewelry box from his jacket pocket inside.

He kneeled in front of her before she could say a word, her eyes widened at it.

"Rana sa... what are you doing ? This is hall, servants are roaming around... get up...", Isha said looking around...

"I can't bear even a single step of yours without these... Just wear these Rani sa...", he said, Isha looked here and there, and found a few servants staring at them with wide eyes and that shocked her... Seeing her noticing them, they rushed away from there as no one was allowed to look at the king and queen's private moments, though this one wasn't anything near to inappropriate, still, they feared Abhyansh, so they rushed inside.

"Rana sa... Rana sa... get up", she whispered... But, instead, he took her right foot and helped her place it on his knee while putting her hand on his shoulder, and she fisted her palms on his shoulders taking support of them to balance her weight. "Some servants saw us like this...", she whispered, expecting him to get up at least now but he surprised her

"So ? I'm not doing something unlawful or something that is shameful, you are my queen, I would kneel in front of only you, and it's something I take pride in", he said making her wear the anklets he got on her right foot followed by left one.

She looked at him with surprise, he changed so much. His love, respect, and admiration for her only increased with every day. How could she stay mad at him when he does things like this ?

He got up and she looked at her anklet-clad feet with a wide smile...

"They are exactly like I wanted... Thank you so much Rana sa...", she said and he nodded, both of them walked inside, and the sounds soothed him, her steps mixed with her anklet sound calmed his restless heart. "But, you left such an important meeting for this... What's so hurry ? you are just too much Rana sa", she rebuked him...

"There is... How would I pass the night without these ? These are the most important players of course after us", he whispered in her ear leaning in, her cheeks tinted with red but she composed herself soon... God! her husband is too passionate and sometimes she fails to catch up with him. He managed to turn her red without even a single dirty word.

"Go and freshen up, I'll get your dinner to the room", she said and he nodded and went away.

After dinner, both of them lay on their bed in each other's arms...

"This is bliss", he said nuzzling his head in the crook of her neck smelling her...

"Hm...", Isha said moving her feet on his... The sound of her anklets raised the desire in him... He sat at her feet taking them in his palms and dropping kisses on them...

"Your feet are so beautiful Isha... But with these anklets, they are the prettiest...", he said dropping open mouth kisses on her soft feet...

"Rana sa... Stop kissing them please", she pleaded, she always felt awkward when he touched her feet, but it would remain only for some time, she would get used to it after that. He continued peppering them with kisses, she kept her right foot on his heart to stop him... He looked at her and shook her head.

He gave her a proud smile...

"Rani sa... You are a queen in all senses", he said and she smiled understanding what he meant... The happiness he felt after seeing her foot on his chest, heart to be precise was immense. She forwarded her hands inviting him in her embrace and he didn't waste a second in jumping into her arms taking her lips into his.

And just like she predicted, the whole night, till the wee hours, their room is filled with the sounds made by the 3 players as her husband said, i.e she, her Rana sa and her anklets, he made sure of it.

The next morning, Isha woke up and kept staring at her husband, it's the first time she woke up before him after they made love, she couldn't forget their night, and his love, everything kept running in her head making her go red. She looked at her legs entangled with his, her gaze shifted to her anklets and the red hue deepened but with a wide smile. The anklets were so pretty, she loved them a lot and she liked how her husband was so obsessed with her wearing anklets that he missed his important meeting to get her these.

"Good Morning!", he greeted her, kissing her head

"Good Morning", she said turning to him snuggling into him more...

"What are you thinking so deeply ? About last night ?", his tone turned husky in the end, earning a slap from her on his bare chest.

"I was just thinking about your obsession with me wearing anklets that you missed such an important meeting, leaving my bhai alone", she said

"Your actual problem is that I left your brother alone, not that I missed an important meeting... I hate the love you have for that idiot Rajput", Abhyansh said and Isha rolled her eyes at his complaints...

"Subhe Subhe shuru na hoyiye Rana sa...(Don't start with your complaints early in the morning)", she dismissed his comments, he glared at her but soon it disappeared when he saw her cutely yawning and closing her eyes to sleep some more...

"Not just these, I brought you a few pairs of toe rings and a few more anklet sets... Freshen up and arrange them in the closet, or I'll do it tonight", he said and she quickly opened her eyes to know he bought more anklets and toe rings... He expected her to admonish him but she surprised him by just nodding... He loved it when his wife was in a great mood, she ignored everything he did though she was against some things.

"Make me wear a pair of toe rings today after I freshen up... For now, let me sleep... There is a lot of work today", Isha said and Abhyansh nodded.

-----------------------------------

Soon, the D-Day arrived and Avyan and Anshi's Roka ceremony took place, it was a grand event but with a limited number of guests. Anshi and Avyan conversed like two civil people. Isha along with Amruta received Anshi's family warmly. Pratap, Abhyansh, and Rajmata Devyani Devi maintained their usual stance. Pratap with his nonchalance, Devyani Devi with her stern posture, and Abhyansh with his cold demeanor. Isha sighed at the three. There is still some time for the rituals to start. Anshi's parents are worried seeing the three of their behavior. They knew Rajmata's and Abhyash's coldness from before, but Pratap too didn't greet Anshi or respond when she greeted him. This scared her parents.

"Rana sa... look at them, they are so worried for their daughter, come on, she is their only daughter, Please go and assure them, they would definitely listen to you", Isha said but Abhyansh looked at her sternly and she sighed... She got her answer... She looked around and saw her father-in-law and Rajmata standing at some distance...

"He wouldn't listen to me at all, why is he standing with those crutches ? He could sit in his wheel chair but no...", Isha muttered to herself looking at her Father-in-law but her husband heard her...

"Now you started worrying for that man too ? Rani sa...", Abhyansh started but Isha cut him off...

"What do you mean by I started now, I worry for him always, he is family, but before I didn't talk to him much... well, even now, I don't talk to him much but it's better than before", Isha said

"There is no need to better your ties with him...", Abhyansh told her strictly

"Okay... now will you calm down ?", she said and he sighed... "I'll just come", she said and walked to her father-in-law and Rajmata...

Rajmata walked to Abhyansh seeing him alone to talk about a few things...

"Sasur sa... why don't you go and engage Anshi's parents in some conversation? If you go and talk to them, they would feel better... They are very worried about their daughter", Isha said

"Why are they worried ? they should be happy that their daughter is getting to marry a prince that too a Ranawat prince", Pratap said dismissively

"I would like you to keep your prejudice aside till this function ends and indulge the bride's parents in a respectful and meaningful conversation", Isha said with seriousness

"Is it an order ?", Pratap asked

"Would you obey only if it is ?", Isha questioned in return...

"God! How is my son dealing with you", Pratap groaned...

"Well a man called your son lucky that he got me ? who is it ? Ah! I remembered, you are that man...", Isha teased

"Who told you ?", Pratap asked

"Ma", Isha giggled

"this woman! she is about as discrete as a sieve", Pratap muttered with irritation

"Don't blame ma... She was just quoting you...", Isha said

"Well, that was before I know you, now I take back my words...", Pratap said

"Liar! you don't mean it, anyways, go and talk to Anshi's parents... Her father's name is Mahesh and her mother is Subhadra... Don't start the conversation with asking their name, till now they are just worried, hearing you they would slip into shock knowing their daughter's father-in-law don't even know their names", Isha commented, he sighed and walked away knowing his daughter-in-law though said it in a funny tone actually meant it. She wasn't wrong though, he didn't know their names until now.

The function successfully ended after the rituals and a lavish meal organized by the king and queen of Ajmer. Ragini's parents are also invited and after all the guests left, they discussed Ranveer-Ragini's engagement as not many days are left for it too. After all of it, they called it a day and dispersed to their chambers.

After a few days, Isha shifted to Rajput palace as it was just a few days before her brother's engagement and she needed to check the final arrangements, as usual, Abhyansh was against it, but Isha asked him to tag along as he was the one who promised Ragini and her parents that they would take care of the engagement.

Ragini and Ranveer got engaged in a private ceremony not as grand as Avyan's Roka, as Ranveer wanted to keep it low, they wanted to make the wedding a huge event instead and Abhyansh though reluctant at first, later agreed since the wedding will be soon and they could make the event big, while Avyan's Roka needed to be grand as they are taking a gap of 2 years for marriage and the 'Roka' needs to be announced to the world in a very grandeur manner. It's also to assure Anshi's family.

Abhyansh and his wife didn't have a memorable wedding, but he wanted Ranveer and Avyan to have a dream wedding with all the rituals & functions, Abhyansh never craved for all this but he knew his wife wanted, it's clear in how she took care of every small detail in the arrangements and wanted to make the event a success. She is searching happiness in their siblings' wedding functions. Abhyansh even asked if she wanted to marry him again, though he was completely aversive to that idea, he wanted to do it for her, but she outright rejected it and even called him crazy for coming up with something like that.

-------------------------------------

"Are you ready ?", Abhyansh asked coming out of the washroom...

"hm...", Isha nodded pinning her saree...

Both of them walked to the temple, offered prayers to 'Mahadev' and performed the 'Abhishek' together. After taking Mahadev's blessings, Isha bent and touched her husband's feet. Both of them silently sat near the pillar before Abhyansh started speaking.

"I know you hate me for forcing you to see Dr. Parthasarathy, and you might think I'm selfish, and you are not wrong. I'm being selfish here Rani sa. I'm doing this for myself, I am scared to see you in that condition again... I couldn't bear the sight... even the thought of it aches me physically, I want you to be free from your suffering as soon as possible", Abhyansh said holding her palm...

"I'm mad at you, no doubt about it, but not because you wanted me to see Dr. Parthasarathy, but how you got me say 'Yes' to it", she said

"Did you leave me a choice ? Tell me from how long was I asking you to see him huh ? Every time I raised this topic, you either diverted it or outright rejected that idea. I didn't want to force you, I wanted to convince you patiently that's the reason I gave you enough time, in fact, more than enough time, but now it has become too much, you tested my patience, Isha... I know I'm guilty of hurting you when I asked you to choose, I hurt you when I talked about our separation, and trust me I'm sorry but I don't regret it... because I was having your safety in my head and I would commit any mistake or destroy anything or anyone to keep you safe", Abhyansh said and Isha didn't know what to say, well he was right, he did try to convince her a lot calmly, she wasn't left with much argument after his strong point so she chose drama.

"Haw... Mahadev... Are you hearing him ? He said he would commit any mistake, that too in front of you, he has no fear at all", she said looking at the 'shiv ling'.

"My Mahadev understands me, well, I learned from him... He became a destroyer after Ma Sati's self-immolation, he immensely loved and respected his wife, and as his devotee, I am following his path", he said

"hm... I'm halfway through Shiv Puran... It's so good, thanks for the book", Isha thanked her husband suddenly remembering how he gifted her the book when he noticed her eagerness to learn about all this.

"Hm... Let's go, We are getting late", he said and got up, he forwarded his hand and she held it, getting up. Both of them then started to the spot Dr. Parthasarathy called them. Abhyansh wanted him to come to one of his palaces but Dr. Parthasarathy had already told him that he would treat Isha on his terms and his methods wouldn't be questioned. Abhyansh agreed to it knowing his successful track record.

He purposely called them to a restaurant Isha visited with her parents and brother during her childhood, he wanted her to get comfortable with him, and what better way to start it with some good memory? A smile appeared on Isha's face instantly seeing the place but she didn't share the details with her husband knowing his hatred for her parents.

Abhyansh and Isha greeted Dr. Parthasarathy, and he introduced his assistant. All four started having their food continuing their basic introductions. After a while, Abhyansh excused himself as requested by Dr. Parthasarathy before, his assistant too disappeared and Isha understood what was happening. But to her surprise, the session was very light and she got comfortable with Dr. Parthasarathy. But before she said anything, she told him that she wanted her privacy to be protected and she also told him that Abhyansh might have informed him. He assured her that he would never compromise with his client's privacy. Isha found the genuineness in his eyes. He also got ready to sign a confidentiality agreement, so, for now, she believed him and they got back to their conversation. Slowly Isha started sharing her childhood with Dr. Parthasarathy and some light moments with her parents, and brother. Since she was only 10, she struggled to recall some things, and Dr. Parthasarathy understood her and didn't pressure her much as it could hurt her.

And the sessions continued, it's a few weeks since they started and they became somewhat comfortable and Isha trusted the old man. She also appreciated his efforts to come to India and treat her even at this age. But still, Isha never talked about her sufferings let alone what led her to her panic attacks.

Dr. Parthasarathy met with Abhyansh and Ranveer to share the feedback up till now. He talked to Ranveer in detail about the situations and Ranveer's details helped Dr. Parthasarathy schedule sessions at those places that could trigger her memories and let her spill the beans at one or the other weak point but she didn't.

"I don't know how to tell you this... Rani sa's willpower is strong, It's tough to crack her, she had built very strong walls concealing the truth inside them... She didn't want to talk about it. I have realized some pain points like what would trigger her past, or threw her in discomfort, there are some things that make her stop talking about her past abruptly, and I have noted it all for deeper analysis. But, only if she opens up a bit more, I could decode the main issue behind her panic attacks, is it because of some fear or the pain she faced, or something else, we need to figure it out, so I suggest she stay in Rajput palace in those conditions she lived in before", Dr. Parthasarathy suggested

Both Abhyansh and Ranveer were offended with his statement. Did he mean they should make her go through all the tortures her uncle-aunt made her go through? Looking at their heated gaze, Dr. Parthasarathy understood what they thought.

Ranveer informed him about a few things Isha went through in Rajput palace including how she was caged and homeschooled there. The old man's heart went out to her... The kind queen she is didn't deserve all those sufferings.

"No Maharaj, Mr. Rajput, you are getting me wrong, I don't want to repeat all of it. Rani sa would stay there normally... But in between, I just need to observe her regarding what's causing her discomfort. I'll be staying there too", Dr. Parthasarathy cleared but still, Abhyansh was reluctant but he understood the need for it. He wanted to tag along but then he realized it wasn't a good choice as his presence would cause Isha to relax and feel safe and secure. And it wouldn't help the doctor's analysis in any way.

Both Abhyansh and Ranveer observed how Isha stayed attentive and cautious if Abhyansh Or Ranveer were not around in the Rajput palace. To date, she couldn't forget how the same walls were a cage for her for 16 years and how those lifeless barriers witnessed her sufferings silently, stopping her from escaping hell.

"But I must say, Rani Sa is strong-minded, and all these days of sessions helped her a bit... I think she is strong enough to...", Dr. Parthasarathy trailed... What he meant was Abhyansh could now start sharing the truth whatever it was, but he wasn't sure of the consequences, he was sure to handle Isha if she were to suffer another attack, because according to him, the hidden truth was causing her equal damage and preventing it was important. Abhyansh and Ranveer hated letting someone in and access the hidden truths about their families but they had no option, it was needed to to let the doctor know for him to treat Isha. But, nevertheless, they didn't have to worry as Abhyansh conducted thorough research on Dr. Parthasarathy and he was a man of integrity, in his more than 7 decades of experience, he never compromised his patient's privacy ever.

"Do you take the guarantee ?", Abhyansh asked him, he knew what was the doctor saying but he couldn't take any chance with his wife's health and let her suffer.

Seeing the old man silent, Abhyansh got up and walked away as he didn't find any use in talking to the doctor more or listening to him on this topic.

----------------------------------

Isha waited for her husband to initiate about the past, she knew she was recovering bit by bit, and now her anxiety reduced a lot whenever she thought about her past. She knew her doctor might have spoken to her husband about her improvement and she expected Abhyansh to tell her about the truth but Abhyansh never spoke about it and now she is frustrated with him.

He walked into the room, changed and sat beside her, he knew she was angry with him and he had an idea about the reason, that's why he didn't want to initiate any conversation but to his bad luck, she did it herself.

"Rana sa... Did Dr. Parthasarathy talk to you ?", Isha asked, Abhyansh nodded... "I was waiting for the truth Rana sa, Now, I am taking sessions from the doctor, I can feel the improvement, but I feel like all the efforts are only from my side, if I take 10 steps, you should at least take 1 step but you are stuck to your place, how would it work ?", Isha asked softly...

"I promised you to tell the truth, not after starting your sessions with Dr. Parthasarathy, but after fully recovering, your improvement is consistent and I'm very happy about it, but I can't take any risk, I'm still stuck to my point, yes. I will not utter a single word until you completely recover", he stated sternly. He knew she would get mad at his words but that's what is there in his mind, and he didn't want to manipulate his wife by beating around the bush but his blunt statement increased her fury.

"You are impossible Abhyansh Singh Ranawat... You. Are. Impossible", Isha shouted in the end... She has been feeling a lot of mood swings lately, and at first, she thought she was PMSing, but her period is delayed, she didn't want to tell him that, he would blame it on her health again and might delay confessing the truth. Her husband is capable of anything and she hated him for doing this to her.

"Isha... Calm down... will you ?", he asked rubbing her forearms and taking her in his arms but she pushed him away...

"Why can't you tell me the truth Abhyansh ? Especially when I have already heard it from my aunt? Do you know how frustrating it is to live with half-truth... Sach kya hai Ansh ? (What is the truth, Ansh ?) Let me tell you, the truth is you think my father killed Advaita... Right ?", she screamed, he fisted his hands to control himself, he couldn't shout at her and trigger her panic attack, no he couldn't let her suffer... he kept chanting to himself.

'I don't think so, it's a fact, your ba***rd of a father killed my sister in front of my eyes', he wanted to scream but didn't...

"Ansh... Please tell me the truth... You don't know how I'm feeling right now... I feel suffocated... It's getting hard to live with the feeling that my husband blames my father for my sister-in-law's death... Right now I feel as if I'm stuck... I can't love the two most important men in my life without feeling guilty, loving you or Baba was always my peace, it came naturally but now I feel as if I'm doing wrong with the other by doing so... baba was a king, a very respected man in the society, yet he was isolated in his last days, no one visited us to pay final respects as if he and ma were some outcasts and I know you were behind it and loving you feels so wrong but I can't stop myself. At the same time, even thinking that Baba was behind Advaita's death giving you and our whole family a lifelong scar is enough to hate him but I can't do it, he is my father... What am I supposed to do ? What am I... Supposed to do", she broke down at the end... Abhyansh's eyes turned red hearing her breaking down like that.

He tried to understand her pain... She lost her parents at a tender age, and her love and longing for them only multiplied with time... And when she is getting to live her life, enjoying her marriage and love, and accepting her parents' death, she gets to know that her father was behind her husband's sister's death and that was the reason her husband hated her and tortured her at the beginning of their marriage. Fate was always cruel to her but she was always kind to people around her. His fury always stopped him from listening to her when she spoke about her parents', especially her father but today he controlled it and listened to her and her pain broke his heart.

As a daughter, it's the hardest phase and as a wife too, it's tough to live with a man who hates her father, so much that he could kill him.

"Isha... I'm sorry... Please... stay strong, just some more time...don't lose your patience", he told her... She separated from his embrace and wiped her tears after a few minutes, composing herself.

"Get out... You are allowed only till Avyan's Roka... Don't you think you have extended your stay a bit more ?", Isha asked...

"Rani sa... Don't do this...", he said seriously... he knew she was kicking him out so that she didn't have to break down in front of him...

"Look! I'm done with you... You want to be my pain as well as my balm, but trust me, I won't let it happen anymore", Isha said... "Now leave", she said angrily...

He got up and walked inside their closet, and she frowned... Realization hit her when she saw her walking towards her with the ointment in his head... He sat beside her and applied it on her scar which was almost faded now...

"You can't avoid it Isha... I gave you pain in the past and now I want to be the balm, and trust me, I will heal you no matter what... You don't know the lava in my heart every minute remembering my behavior with you, I was trying to suppress it because I deserve the burn of it every second of my life, I won't let it burst out", he said, his voice deepening and she could hear the immense pain in his tone, her chest tightened at his agony.

"Do we deserve all this pain Rana sa ?", Isha asked looking into his eyes that are burning in regret.

"I do, you don't", he said kissing her forehead... "Sleep now... I'll be in my study", he said getting up and walking away.

She stared at the ceiling thinking about everything. She regretted asking her husband to go away. She needed him at the same time she didn't. These days her mood swings are at their peak, one second she is extremely happy for having Abhyansh in her life, and the next second she is angry with him. She knew she had to leave for the Rajput palace to stay there for a few days, as per her doctor's request, he said he would like to treat her but in an unprecedented way, and for that she needed to be available for him 24/7. Staying in Ranawat palace isn't an option as there would be her whole family and it's not suitable for the treatment, so he preferred Rajput palace. Well, that's the reason the doctor told her. So, she decided to oblige him, if she agreed to see Dr. Parthasarathy, she decided to give her 100% in getting better, instead of doing it for the sake of it.

After a few days, Isha decided to leave for Rajput palace, since the family didn't know about Isha's treatment, they thought she was going to Rajput palace to stay for a few days with her brother.

"Isha... beta... I'm again telling you, Why go there when Ranveer could stay here ? Don't go", Amruta said for the nth time... She didn't like her daughter going away...

"Ma... Just for a few days... Bhai and I miss our old days, and I want to enjoy it in the place where we grew up", Isha said gently hugging her mother-in-law... Amruta nodded in understanding but the BEAST had to taunt his mother...

"Is it the love for your daughter-in-law or fear that you have to handle all the responsibilities, especially my meals ?", Abhyansh asked coldly... Isha sighed at him, but surprisingly Amruta's face didn't pale, she was happy he was at least talking to her.

"Why would I fear from handling my son ?", Amruta responded but instantly regretted seeing him clenching his teeth, she was not supposed to say that, God! now he would again get mad at her and show her, her place. She cursed herself, don't know what got into her. She waited for his cold words but they never came. "I... I meant cooking for you", she said when he didn't say a word... He just nodded, Isha smiled at so much change in him.

"I'll leave now...", Isha informed turning towards her husband who nodded at her. She turned to Rajmata and Pratap, and informed them the same.

"Take care... Rani sa", Pratap said surprising everyone.

"Ji... you too Sasur sa", Isha responded respectfully.

Ranveer and Isha walked away... Isha didn't want to go but she had to, Abhyansh also didn't want to let her go but he had to. He wouldn't let her go after all this is sorted out, he determined not knowing what fate held for him.

A few days passed, and the session with Dr. Parthasarathy didn't have a particular time, also as he said, it was really an unprecedented way as they didn't feel like sessions to her. And Dr. Parthasarathy was happy to see his technique working, in these few days, he had gathered a lot of information and pain points related to Isha by just observing her.

He started his treatment accordingly and Isha showed positive results. Though her mood swings are worst and mostly Ranveer and the doctor took the brunt of it as Isha sometimes blasted at the old man for pushing her too much but he didn't give up.

---------------------------------

"Ishu... bacha... Don't you think you are getting angry too much these days ? Is there a problem ?", Ranveer asked

"No bhai... that old man pushes me too much...", Isha complained

"I understand you got close to him but still you are not someone who disrespects such an elderly man even behind his back", Ranveer expressed his surprise at his sister's words...

"Don't know, Okay, anyway I'm gonna cook something for me, Do you want some ?", Isha asked, Ranveer shook his head wondering how she was eating so much... She just had a heavy dinner an hour back...

"Aren't you eating too much ?", he asked, she glared at him and walked to the kitchen, he also followed her and helped her with cutting vegetables.

Isha too realized the changes in her body and she suspected if she was pregnant but that doubt was cleared when she got her period a few days ago, this time though, she didn't bleed much, in fact very little. She was surprised. Was it even a period ? She doubted but soon shook her head at her weird thoughts.

"Bhai... Can you take me to the doctor tomorrow ?", she asked, it's better to see a gynecologist...

"I was already telling you that for weeks now...", Ranveer said and Isha glared at him for exaggerating...

"But our visit should be kept private, I don't want Rana sa to know, he would unnecessarily worry", Isha said while cooking...

"Nothing can be hidden from him", Ranveer muttered to himself but his sister heard him...

"Then I'm not going to the doctor", Isha said and Ranveer sighed in irritation...

"Ishu...", Ranveer said but Isha shook her head... "Fine... I'll ask the doctor to check you at home", Ranveer said

"Rana sa would know then too", Isha said and Ranveer sighed

"I know... I have a solution for that too, Why are you being so impatient these days ?", Ranveer said... "I'll tell him Dr. Parthasarathy wanted you to get certain tests... I know these are interlinked, Dr. Sangeeta also said these therapy and mental stress could affect your periods and all, so Ranawat would understand", Ranveer said

"He would understand, but won't stop worrying for me... Anyways, tell him that Dr. Parthasarathy advised me to get certain tests, Call him yourself to inform him, after our visit to the doctor...", Isha said, so that her husband wouldn't insist on joining her to the doctor, at the same time wouldn't spy on her behind her back if her brother calls and informs him.

She felt a lot of changes in her body and she is worried if it's what she is thinking. She remembered they forgot to use protection a few times in recent times. It's not like she didn't want a child but she felt the situations weren't right.

She is done with the cooking and had her meals. And after talking for a while, Ranveer dispersed to his chamber... Isha lay on the bed and soon fell asleep thinking about her husband. She is feeling a lot tired lately and all these symptoms were scaring her.

The next day, Isha and Ranveer visited the doctor which Dr. Sangeeta recommended, she is the mother of her very good friend and she got ready to keep their visit low. Ranveer waited outside so his sister could explain her problem to the doctor without hesitation...

"I suspect you are pregnant... I would suggest you go and take the test Rani sa", the doctor said and Isha nodded, her hands shivered but she kept her calm...

Isha came out of the doctor's cabin followed by a nurse...

"Kya hua bacha ?(what happened bacha ?)", Ranveer asked... Isha just wanted to dodge his question but the nurse couldn't keep her mouth shut...

"The doctor asked Rani sa to take a pregnancy testYour Highness", she said, and to say Ranveer was shocked is an understatement...

"What ? Ishu... didn't you deny bacha ?", Ranveer said, according to him, it was not possible, he couldn't imagine his beast of a brother-in-law taking his sister's innocence. It's normal between a married couple but who would make this over-protective brother understand, also he still didn't forgive his brother-in-law for what he did to his sister, and he thought his sister didn't too... Well, she didn't forgive him but she did accept him as her husband and loved him.

The nurse looked at them weirdly...

"Bhai... You are embarrassing me", Isha whispered to her brother... she felt very awkward hearing his question, how should she deny the doctor when she wasn't sure herself ?

"You are still a baby, my baby Ishu... How can you be pregnant my bacha ?", Ranveer panicked...

The nurse giggled at how adorable Ranveer is... He loved his sister too much, she thought.

"Guide me to the restroom sister", Isha asked assuring her brother that she would be back soon...

Isha and the nurse walked to the washrooms, Isha dispersed the nurse from there and went inside the washroom, her heartbeat rose, she was hell-nervous... She waited for 3 minutes for the results and the two Red lines shocked her... She is Pregnant . God! she can't believe it, she is going to be a mother, and her Rana sa is going to be a father... She got teary-eyed with happiness. He would be the best father, like her father, she thought. And just that thought snatched the smile on her face and replaced it with worry. Now, he would never tell her the truth, citing her pregnancy and the stress is not good for her. She knew him very well.

Her phone started ringing, and looking at her brother's caller ID, she wiped her tears and walked back to doctor's cabin, she knew her brother would be shocked to know all this.
