CHAPTER – 6.2
The D-day arrived, Abhyansh, Ranveer and Isha were waiting for this day for various reasons...
Abhyansh was waiting to avenge Ranveer for trying to separate his wife from him multiple times, but mostly he was awaiting this moment so that he could finally start the customized hell he prepared for Kailash and Sheela Rajput.
Isha was excited for her brother as he would finally get settled in his life, that too with her best friend.
Ranveer brought Ragini home, though Ragini visited the palace twice before, this time it intimidated her a lot more than before...
Amruta and Isha talked to Ragini to ease her worries and she got comfortable but as soon as the Beast walked in, he brought the cold aura with him, and everyone felt that his cold aura was stronger today. Ragini cursed her fate thinking they came there on a day when the king's mood was bad, but Ranveer knew his brother-in-law would behave the same way whenever he would have brought Ragini.
"Maharaj...", Ragini stood up greeting him, Ranveer followed, He looked into Abhyansh's eyes and on finding the glint of mischief in his brother-in-law's eyes, he sighed deeply, the BEAST was gonna play with him today, he got it by now. Amruta left from there to the kitchen to arrange snacks for them.
"Ranawat...", Ranveer cleared his throat before continuing... "So, this is Ragini, my partner and I would...", Ranveer started but Abhyansh interrupted him.
"I thought Vikram was your partner Rajput...", Abhyansh said, there was no hint of humor in his tone so Ragini is startled but Isha and Ranveer understood what he was doing...
"She is my girlfriend and I want to marry her Ranawat...", Ranveer said quickly...
"Oh! Are you sure you want to marry him ?", Abhyansh asked Ragini sternly... He wanted to intimidate her and she was actually getting intimidated, and it came as a surprise to Ranveer and Isha who knew her fierce personality...
"Y...Yes Maharaj...", Ragini answered...
"This man here is not reliable Ms. Shah... You still have chance, think about it clearly... Marriage is a big decision, I think you should take some time and decide it with a clear mind", Abhyansh said seriously... Ragini's seemed like she fell into deep thinking. Ranveer glared at her and Abhyansh simultaneously...
"Really ? You are having second thoughts, listening to him ?", Ranveer said, getting pissed. Abhyansh smirked and Ragini noticed this and got the whole picture, she already had an idea of the bitter-sweet relationship between the brothers-in-law, so she decided to play along.
"Yes, Maharaj... I'll think thoroughly, thank you", Ragini answered Abhyansh ignoring Ranveer's words...
"What ?? Hello, excuse me, you had the option to say 'No', but that expired now... Don't even think about it", Ranveer said
"Bhai... shhh...", Isha tried to calm her brother down...
"Say this to your husband... 'Rana sa... shhh', tell this to him, he needs it very badly", Ranveer told his sister... Abhyansh raised his brow at Ranveer's impatience.
"Bhai... calm down, Rana sa is kidding", Isha said
"No, I'm not... I can't watch you spoiling a girl's life, definitely not my wife's best friend Rajput", Abhyansh said coldly... For a second Ragini thought he was being serious...
"Rana sa...", Isha slapped his arm glaring at him, and that's when a soft smirk appeared on his face that turned into a smug look as soon as he turned towards Ranveer.
"Fine...", Abhyansh said to his wife...
"Now you too, answer with an 'yes', fast", Ranveer commanded Ragini. Ragini rolled her eyes but answered with an 'Yes'.
"Thank you for your concern Maharaj... But, now that I have signed up for this disaster for my life, I can't back out now", Ragini said sadly...
"You have my sympathies, Let me know if you need any help in disaster management", Abhyansh told Ragini...
Isha is surprised to see her husband's humorous side with Ragini, well, he teases her and her brother, but this whole conversation with Ragini did came as a surprise to the Rajput siblings, well for Isha it was a pleasant surprise, but can't say the same for Ranveer who is fuming looking at the both of them.
"Ragini doesn't need but can't say the same about Isha, not just help, my sister needs a complete course on disaster management since you are not just a disaster but a destroyer...", Ranveer said, Isha shook her head at their banter...
"Sure,I'll destroy your life first", Abhyansh said glaring at Ranveer.
"Ranawat...", Ranveer started but stopped seeing Amruta walking towards them followed by house staff with snacks and coffee and tea with them.
Abhyansh stood up buttoning up his coat and looked at Isha...
"Rani sa... Get me a coffee, I'll be in my study", he said and she nodded with confusion, as he didn't confirm anything about Ragini and Ranveer and Abhyansh understood her unasked question.
"Ms. Shah, ask your parents to come and talk to me", Abhyansh said before walking away from there...
Isha jumped in happiness hugging her brother and Ragini. Amruta quickly dispersed the staff and hugged Isha with a wide smile but calming her as well...
"Hehe sorry ma, I got very excited", Isha apologized for forgetting the decorum and jumping in happiness. She looked behind to see her husband walking towards his study. She looked at him to see if he was upset. She cursed herself for not containing her excitement and jumping in front of the staff. A queen is supposed to conceal all her emotions and react in a composed manner in any time.
Abhyansh knew his wife was waiting to know his opinion, he can feel her stares though his back was facing her. So he stopped walking and turned to her, he blinked his eyes with a soft nod, and walked away. Isha sighed in relief and smiled widely. Her husband wa okay with it, rest all opinions don't matter to her.
Ragini observed everything and she got scared, Will she be expected to do the same in the future?
"Ishu... Should I...", Ragini started but Isha and Ranveer got her question.
"No... Don't worry", Isha assured...
"Ranawat is the king, so as a queen Isha is expected to do all this, I'm not... So chill", Ranveer said
"But you are the crown prince, if not today, soon you'll be crowned Ranveer... You can't leave the throne vacant like this for years, it's not good for the people", Amruta said
"I know Aunty but who will do my coronation? I'm aware my bhabhosa announced me as the crown prince, but...", Ranveer trailed...
"Let's not talk about it now...", Isha diverted the topic... because this would open a lot of wounds which she doesn't want them to think about in this happy moment. "You guys keep talking, I'll come after giving coffee to Rana sa, bhai, you need something ?", she asked turning towards Ranveer.
"No bacha... I'll have a dry fruit milkshake at night", Ranveer replied, Isha nodded and walked to their chamber to make coffee for her husband and take it to him...
After dinner, Ragini left, Ranveer asked one of his trusted men to take Ragini home since he had something to talk to Abhyansh about his parents.
"Ranawat...", Ranveer started and Abhyansh sighed knowing why was his brother-in-law here in his study now...
"They did not die Rajput", Abhyansh replied. It's their routine, right from Abhyansh took his parents, every week, Ranveer asks Abhyansh if his parents were alive or dead. He just wants to know their state, especially his mother's but Abhyansh refused to tell him that, so he just asked if he could at least know they were alive or dead, and Abhyansh agreed to disclose it.
"Okay... I have a request Ranawat... I was the one who took the promise from you to not kill my father and I know you abide by it, I want another promise from you today", Ranveer said
"No Rajput", Abhyansh said immediately... He knew what his brother-in-law wanted and he didn't want to give him that...
"Please Ranawat... Don't torture my mother, just kill her please... I mean torture her for all the pain she caused Ishu, but do it in a single day and end her life... I am not able to take the thought of her suffering in your den like that... I know my mother was very cruel to Ishu but my heart couldn't be at peace thinking my mother is in a place like your den... Trust me, no man would want their sister/mother/wife/daughter to be in such a place no matter how much of a sinner she is...", Ranveer said
"Your mother doesn't deserve my mercy Rajput... But yes, I promise you, I wouldn't give her more pain than she deserves... and I'll end her life soon but your father... he had to live here, seeing hell every day", Abhyansh said, Ranveer nodded.
"Take me there when you are torturing my a**h*le of a father, I want to witness him dying every second for hurting my bacha", Ranveer said with venom dripping in his words. Abhyansh nodded, and Ranveer left from there.
He would have taken him today itself but the plan was torturing the wife and husband together, and Abhyansh knew Ranveer was a bit sensitive about his mother so he didn't involve him for this time.
Abhyansh finished his work and walked to his chamber... He saw his wife in a call with someone but hearing the conversation his blood boiled.
"Vikram... I know bhai is angry with you but you can't let him do this to you, sort this out... How can he not tell you about all this ? He asked me to inform you which is not right but I don't blame him for it, I blame you... You should have sorted this much before...", Isha spoke into the phone...
"Yaar Ishu... You know I tried a lot, he wouldn't talk to me, neither will he listen to me, what should I do ?", Vikram said and Isha huffed rubbing her forehead, she was tired of trying to sort issues between her brother and his best friend...
"Rani sa... Stop taking other's tensions on your head", Abhyansh's voice boomed in the room...
"I'll talk to you later Vikram, think about what I said", saying this, she hanged up and looks at her husband who was fuming in anger with almost puffed cheeks...
"Rana sa... I'm not taking their headache on my head, it's my headache in the first place, both of them use me as a mediator, bhai asked me to inform Vikram about his marriage thing while Vikram asks me to talk to bhai to listen to him, I'm done with both of them", Isha said
"Exactly... You should stop taking both of their calls...", Abhyansh said
"Rana sa...", Isha started
"No Isha... sort this out or I'll have to sort it in my ways", Abhyansh said
"Nahi Maharaj rehne dijiye(No Maharaj, You leave it), I'll handle", she said joining her hands, he chuckled at her irritation.
"Good, you have two days", Abhyansh said combing his hair in front of the dressing table...
"Rana sa...", she whined
"Fine... you have 3 days", he said spraying perfume, she frowned at him.
"Leave that, where are you going at this time getting ready like that", She said, a frown etching her face. He smirked at her jealousy...
"To the den", he said and her frown deepened...
"To the den ? like that ?", she asked, he seemed to be in a very good mood and that even surprised her, usually he would be in a very bad mood while going to the den.
"Yes, Am I smelling nice ?", he asked leaning towards her...
"Rana sa... what's going on ?", she asked with irritation... He looked very good and she somewhere didn't like seeing him going away from her looking like that.
Everyone knew him as the BEAST but only she knew how he felt before going to the den. He is not in favor of killing people, his situation forced him to become like that and now it has become an innate trait of his.
"I'm in a great mood... Don't wait for me, I'll see you tomorrow", he said and was about to leave but she held his collar and pulled him closer...
"Enough of teasing me, tell me the truth", she said and he smiled...
"I'm not teasing you bacha... I'm genuinely happy today, and if it's jealousy that's making you mad, then don't... No woman has the courage to look at me like you do", he said and she smiled...
"I know... Okay go, but try to come sooner...", she said and he nodded kissing her forehead...
"Hm... sleep now...", he said
"It's hard to sleep without you...", she whined
"Hm... Come...", he said settling beside her opening his arms... She smiled widely and moved into his arms cuddling him, he slowly ruffled her hair and she fell asleep soon, he made her lie comfortably on the bed, covered her with a duvet.
"Sorry my jaan, I'm leaving you to sleep alone tonight, won't repeat it again", he said placing one last forehead kiss before leaving from there.
The thought of torturing Kailash and Sheela Rajput brought a kind of pleasure to him... He could never forget the pain they gave his wife. He knew he still was unaware of many things.
He entered the den and his men got the elder Rajput couple ready for him.

"Let's start eh ? Since today will be the first session, let's keep it light, I don't know why people call me heartless, I'm thoughtful enough to tell you the reason before punishing you...", Abhyansh said, Sheela Rajput was sobbing with fear while Kailash Rajput tried to put on a brave front but his profuse sweating gave away his fear. "Bhairav...", Abhyansh called him and he came in with his expert men skilled with different abilities at torturing people, some of them were ex-police, military, Navy, and airforce people. Bhairav asked them to wait in the outer den as Abhyansh doesn't want them to know what all happened to Isha, it was very personal to her and he wanted to keep it that way. So only Bhairav came in first, where Abhyansh is sitting in his throne chair royally in front of the tied Rajput couple.
"It was the first day after Rani sa's parents' passing away and you, the cruel bas**rd uncle of her announced that she won't be continuing with her studies, locked her in a room when she tried to protest, and when your mother Saanghvi Devi tried to protect her, you refused and shouted at the older woman frightening Rani sa", Bhairav read from the Diary Abhyansh has gotten prepared... "And you Sheela Rajput, you failed to show the basic empathy towards Rani sa, instead behaved cruelly to her when she came to you that day in a hope that you would protect her from your husband", Bhairav read.
When Bhairav finished reading it, Kailash and Sheela breathed a sigh expecting a lighter punishment since their crimes were not big compared to what they had done to Isha in the later days. But what they didn't know was that Abhyansh made a note of every little thing they made his wife go through and he vowed to avenge every single tear of hers. Not just from the Rajput couple, but from everyone who had hurt her, including himself.
Abhyansh signed Bhairav to call them in, in the next minute, the expert and well-trained men and women made their way in.
"Show them what helplessness is... first start with the lady, make her cry till there are no more tears left in her, but her sufferings shouldn't end", Abhyansh said, two men came forward and suddenly hit Kailash Rajput on his face that startled Sheela... She started sobbing heavily seeing her husband's condition.
A man held Kailash Rajput from behind, tightened his hold on his chest and that made it very difficult for him to breathe, his eyes rolled back, his limbs moving frantically struggling for breaths...
Sheela started begging Abhyansh to leave her husband, and after some time when he understood that Kailash couldn't take it anymore, he signaled his man to leave him and he did.
Sheela sighed in relief but it was momentary as two women held her hair and forced her face up, tied her arms and legs and hung a glass of water just above her mouth, she was feeling extremely thirsty and with all the crying she did now, it only intensified, she tried reaching the glass but couldn't, her every attempt hurting her tied limbs but nothing mattered to her except for the glass of water... The helplessness Sheela felt satisfied the BEAST. His wife might have felt the same when she was deprived of basic things.
Sheela stopped her attempts when she suddenly heard her husband's scream... She turned and a shilling scream left her throat looking at him, particularly at his right thumb where his nail was pricked and it's filled with blood. Soon he lost 5 of his nails making Kailsh scream in extreme pain and Sheela with fear and pain... Her throat completely dried with all the sobbing she did, and this continued for the next few hours, when she was on the brink of losing consciousness, Abhyansh signaled his staff to give her some water. She had it and soon she was freed from the ropes but there was no energy left in her to even get up, she tried to, and fell on the floor with her limbs going numb with pain. Kailash Rajput was also freed but he couldn't dare to look at his right hand which was now filled with blood.
"Please at least ask someone to clean the blood and bandage it...", Kailash said
"Oh! Please ? You learnt manners in just one day I see...", Abhyansh said with a smirk...
"Please... bandage...", Kailash asked, Abhyansh looked at Bhairav and signaled him.
"Don't bother about it, your blood will do the job by itself in some hours", Bhairav said,
"Please... The pungent smell of blood is making me puke... Please clean... Please", Sheela said joining her hands...
"Tch... Tch... You are already giving up on just Day-1 ? there are a lot of things you need to suffer for", Abhyansh said and walked away leaving them in terror. If a small mistake of theirs could have this repercussion, they were scared to even imagine what he would do for all the major sufferings they gave to Isha...
Sheela passed out crying on their fate, cursing themselves for ill-treating Isha. Abhyansh reached in the wee hours, freshened up, and went to the temple to carry on with his prayers.
Days passed and in the next week, Ragini's parents came to talk to Abhyansh. After some talks, they finalized a date after 2 months but their engagement will be done after Avyan's Roka. Isha couldn't contain her happiness, she hugged her brother congratulating him with happy tears in her eyes...
"Awe... bacha... you are this happy for your bhayyu's wedding ?", Ranveer asked wiping her tears, holding her shoulders securely.
"Yes, bhai... you can't even imagine how much", she said, Ranveer kissed her forehead.
"I love you so much Ishu... be happy like this always... I'll do anything for this happiness", Ranveer said
"I know bhai... me too... Will do anything for your happiness", Isha said, Ranveer smiled kissing her forehead.
"Oh hello, if you are done with congratulating your brother, congratulate your best friend as well", Ragini said
"Looks like someone is jealous...", Isha teased her and hugged her tight.
"Well, Ragini can dominate me in anything and I'll let her, but not in sharing my Ishu's love", Ranveer announced
"Acha ? We'll see that, your Ishu is my best friend and soon she will love me more than you", Ragini challenged Ranveer...
"Impossible, even Ranawat couldn't achieve this feat till now, my Ishu loves me more...", Ranveer said and Abhyansh glared at him and then at Isha...
"Bhai... shut up...", Isha said, Ranveer pouted at Isha for not saying anything to her husband... Ragini chuckled looking at his expressions.
After lunch and some discussions, Ragini and her family left finalizing the dates and other things.
"Ranawat, when will you be going back ?", Ranveer asked
"Next week", Abhyansh answered
"And return ?", Ranveer questioned again, Abhyansh glared at him for purposely putting him on the spot, as he knew he didn't have a fixed answer for that and Isha would get mad at that...
"He doesn't know bhai", Isha answered instead, Abhyansh got the fury in her tone while others couldn't get it except for Ranveer. He smirked since his job is done.
"Okay come back before the functions hm ?", Ranveer said to fuel the fire since there is about one month for Avyan's roka and Ranveer's engagement.
"That means you won't be back till one month Rana sa ?", Isha asked furious at her husband
"I will return before that Rani sa...", Abhyansh quickly responded and Ranveer shook his head at his brother-in-law's fear for his wife.
Soon days passed, and it's time for Abhyansh to leave, he didn't instruct Isha like last time and that showed his confidence in her and she was glad for it. That showed his trust in her despite her mess-up and indicated he forgave her completely. "Come soon and take care hm ? Wake up an hour before and I'll guide you in cooking, I won't listen to anything in this Rana sa", she ordered and he nodded obediently kissing her forehead.
"You too... take care", he said and she nodded.And he left for the airport and soon reached Europe.
