This guy on the airplane today told me, “I know your type. You’re one of those outspoken hippies who puts animals and plants

ahead of humans and then you think you’re so much more enlightened than everyone else.”

I was rendered mute by his rudeness and then finally said, “You don’t know the first thing about me.”
