Chapter 9

(Please note that I haven't had this edited yet.)

“This Atlas Stavros is a little young and inexperienced, don’t you think?”

I placed my elbow on the chair in front of my father’s desk and rested my chin on my fingers as I stared out the window and bounced my leg. Once again, I felt like a fucking child.

“You said Linden and I could hire who we wanted,” I replied.

“Your last PA was superior in experience, Hugh. You’re downgrading.”

“And look how that turned out?”

I could practically feel his eyes bore a hole into my head to get my attention.

He was trying to give me one of his looks that said he wasn’t to be trifled with.

I was a fucking grown adult, dammit. That was why I hated working here.

I was good at my job, but it wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life, and I was constantly under my father’s thumb.

Linden and I used to talk about starting our own home remodeling and design business, along with some house flipping. He was damn good at woodworking as a hobby, while I’d taken architectural design classes for fun back in college.

“Look,” I breathed. “Patricia was experienced, but she was rude, demanding, and too big for her panties.” Honestly, if she hadn’t quit, I would’ve eventually fired her. “This job isn’t complicated, and we wanted someone who meshed with us better.”

“So you replace her with incompetence?”

I snapped my head to him, feeling the anger burn.

To be honest, I had no idea how well Atlas would work out.

What I did know was that he would go out of his way to do a good job.

I could tell right away what kind of person he was.

He had been eager to please even after I’d gotten angry at him when he first showed up here.

“Atlas isn’t incompetent, but we are giving him the benefit of the doubt and a chance.

All his employers have spoken highly of him and his work ethic.

It doesn’t matter what jobs he’s held. And all of them informed us he was a self-starter and a quick learner.

” I sighed to cool my temper. I was coming across as too defensive.

The last thing we needed was to arouse suspicion.

“Linden and I need someone who has some experience, but a person we can mold into who and what we need. Patricia wasn’t that.

She was stubborn and refused to bend in the slightest.” While that was true, in a sense, it wasn’t the reason we’d hired Atlas.

I just hoped my words were enough to appease my father, since he’d be meeting Atlas soon.

“You had others to interview, and you dropped the rest of him to hire Mr. Stavros.”

Fuck, he was really going to push this. I knew he wouldn’t like it when we did just that, but I hadn’t expected the long lecture and scrutiny.

“Dad, you have pushed Linden and me to come work for you here at Cross Corp. We have done so without complaint. Have we not done our jobs well? Are you not raking in millions? Linden and I even scored the hospital job.” God, I wanted to tell him that he was never fucking happy, no matter what we did, but I was already pushing things with him.

I didn’t need him diving deeper into my life more than he already was.

“Have we let you down yet?” I raised my hand before he could remind me of the lawsuit.

“Yes, you don’t need to remind me of Tamara.

I’m just asking you to trust that Linden and I chose the right person for us. ”

I inwardly winced that if I fucked up and my father found out about Atlas, that trust, or whatever was left between us, would be blown to smithereens.

I wanted to care, but I was tired. Tired of never being good enough.

My sister was braver than I was when she left to pursue her own dreams, even though it meant being cut off.

If I were forced to work here, why couldn’t I do what I wanted with the other parts of my life? What did it matter? But that went against my father’s control-freak nature. Mom just went along with whatever he wanted to keep the peace, though she wasn’t much better.

Before we could talk more, someone knocked on Dad’s office door.

“Come,” he said gruffly.

Liden opened the door and leaned against it to allow Atlas to enter first. He looked handsome…

and a little green. Linden must have warned him about my father.

But Atlas swallowed it back, squared his shoulders, and stepped forward with confidence, holding out his hand.

I smiled at that. I knew he’d quickly adapt.

“Mr. Hanley, it’s a pleasure to meet you, sir. I’m Atlas Stavros. What an amazing company you’ve grown here, and I’m excited to be a part of it, even in my small way. My father is a construction foreman, so I have some insight into what you all do here at Cross Corp.”

Humble and professional. Christ on a cracker. I wanted to bend him over my desk and pound into him.

Dad took his hand and shook it. “Nice to meet you, Atlas. That’s a unique name you have there.” At least he was relatively polite, though he didn’t wear a smile.

Atlas beamed. “Thank you. My brothers and I have ‘A’ names. Greek parents,” he said, chuckling as if that explained everything. Perhaps it did.

Then his attention drew to me, and his smile stretched across his face. “Hello, Mr. Cross. I’m looking forward to my first day.”

Oh, I was looking forward to it, too. I loved that he called Linden and me by our last names. Patricia always addressed us by our first names. Atlas was showing his subservience perfectly.

“Hello, Mr. Stavros.”

I glanced over at Linden, who sat on the couch, out of sight, out of mind, just the way he liked it.

Our meeting wasn’t long, wrapping up after thirty minutes of Dad grilling Atlas. He did his best under the pressure, and it only made me respect Atlas more. Father finally gave in and let us go.

When we left his office, we all marched back to ours in silence. Finally, when we reached Atlas’s new workspace, he stopped and fanned himself with his notepad.

“Oh gawd, I’ve never been so sweaty.”

Linden and I suddenly burst out laughing, the stress suddenly alleviated.

“Dad’s good at that. Sorry, Atlas.”

He waved a dismissive hand. “Psh, he’s the boss. Bosses can do whatever they want… well, almost.”

“I gotta admit, Atlas, I was impressed with you in there,” Linden said, leaning against the wall that divided up the office from Atlas’s space.

“Indeed,” I agreed.

“Holding your own against Uncle Hanley was hot.”

Atlas snorted a laugh and rolled his eyes. “Temperature hot, maybe.”

Without thinking about it too hard, I tugged on his hand and pulled him into my office, with Linden close behind. As soon as the door was shut, I was on Atlas, nipping at his throat from behind. Atlas fell into his princess role instantly. God, he was adaptive. Responsive.

“Linden’s right, you were definitely hot. Are hot.”

Linden stepped forward and sandwiched Atlas between us. His long fingers dug into Linden’s chest as I pressed kisses to his throat. Linden kissed the other side of Atlas’s neck and cheek, pulling a groan from him.

My cock quickly swelled and tried to punch through my slacks.

“Put your hands around my neck,” I ordered.

His arms reached over his head from behind, and he clasped his hands around my neck.

“What should we do with her?” Linden asked, switching into his role as well.

“Our princess needs to be rewarded for how well she handled Dad.” I gently bit Atlas’s earlobe. “Would you like to be rewarded, Princess?”

“I’d love a reward, King.”

And just like that, we were back in the nightclub from two weeks ago.

“I’m loving your smell,” I said, inhaling him. “New perfume?”

“I thought you might like it.”

“I do… flowers smell good on you, Princess.”

“Definitely,” Linden said as he sat on his knees to unbuckle and unzip Atlas’s pants. “I couldn’t get enough of his perfume when I showed him around the office.”

Once his slacks were pooled around his ankles, Linden slid down the cute white panties covered in cherries.

“Fucking cute,” my cousin whispered before swallowing Atlas’s cock down.

He sank his back into me and groaned, digging his nails into my neck. I wrapped my arm around his chest, and I slid a finger from my free hand through the crease of his ass and rolled it around the tight hole.

“Oh, god… best first day of work ever,” Atlas rasped.

I chucked before licking the shell of his ear, then I rested my chin on Atlas’s shoulder and sank my finger into him, while I watched Linden. He took it easily, even without lube.

Watching someone I was into getting sucked off was almost as good as fucking them. And Linden was especially good at giving blowjobs, better than I was since he’d had a lot more practice.

As I watched his lips stretch, it wouldn’t have been the first time I wondered what his mouth would feel like on me. I’d always resisted the urge to ask, and I wouldn’t ask now.

Linden’s blue eyes suddenly landed on mine, and he didn’t remove them as he sucked Atlas harder and faster. The gagging, gurgling, and slurping sounds were loud. Those noises were a favorite of mine. His eyes started to water, but he didn’t blink away from me.

My cock, pressed against Atlas’s ass, was hard as steel, and I was desperate to get off, but I’d worry about myself later. It was all for Atlas—our princess.

I thrust my finger faster and slipped my hand into his suit jacket to pinch his nipple through his dress shirt.

“How do you like Knight’s mouth?” I growled in his ear.

Atlas groaned and writhed. His lips parting and his eyes closing were my only responses.

“Answer me.”

“H-he’s amazing. So hot… God, that tongue. I’m… so close already.”

I glanced down at Linden. “Should we let him come?”

He popped off Atlas’s cock and stroked it as he smirked up at me. “It would be fun to edge him, but we need to get back to work.”

“Party pooper.”

“Ugh… please…” Atlas whined.

Linden chuckled and swallowed Atlas back down, moving faster, harder, and deeper.

Suddenly, Atlas froze, and his hole clenched around my finger. I had to rush to cover up his mouth as he cried out.

“Don’t swallow it,” I ordered Linden.

His breathing through his nose was loud as Linden finished him off. When Atlas had nothing left to give, my cousin stood and raised a brow at me for further instructions.

“Kiss our Princess and give him his cum.”

Something flashed in Linden’s eyes, but I wasn’t sure what it was. It was gone as quickly as it had come, but it felt… disconcerting. I shrugged it off when they started kissing. Linden’s tongue thrusted into Atlas’s mouth, sharing the cum.

“Fucking hot,” I growled. “Now enough.”

Linden pulled back, and I cupped Atlas’s face to turn him toward me, then I also kissed him to taste his bitterness. His hands dropped from the awkward position, and he fell into the kiss.

When I moved away, Atlas’s eyes slowly opened to look up at me. His swollen lips were parted before they curved into a smile.

“I think I’m going to like it here,” he said, making Linden and me laugh again.

I bopped his nose and let him go as Linden squatted to pull up and zip Atlas’s pants.

“Okay, get settled in. Go through our email, filtering out the spam and junk. Highlight what’s important. Then I’d like you to familiarize yourself with our calendars.”

“Yessir, Mr. Cross.” His smile carried a sense of satiation, and his eyes had a dreamlike quality as he sauntered out of my office, sashaying his ass for us.

“We’re so fucked,” Linden said, as we watched Atlas go.

“Yep.”
