Raven:

Miss your face, Sloane. When are you coming home?

Lizzy:

But you don’t miss mine?

Lanie:

Or mine…? Man, I feel like chopped liver now! You can look in the mirror to see hers.

Raven:

Ha ha… very funny! I could walk down the street to see the two of you. Sloane, on the other hand, abandoned us all and is on the whole other side of the country.

Lizzy:

From what Cameron says, she’s kicking ass and finding show-stopping talent!

Lanie:

Do we expect any less from Sloane? (rolling eyes emoji)

Sloane:

Yeesh… some of us have to work year-round and don’t have summers off…. ANYWAYS… I found two amazing bands I’m trying to sign…. (head exploding emoji)

Lizzy:

If anyone can close those deals, it’s you. (dragon slayer sticker)

Raven:

Have your boys broken Dad yet? I haven’t heard from them today.

Sloane:

Ha ha… he’s fine… or at least he hasn’t said otherwise. (shrugging emoji)

Lizzy:

I ran into them long boarding this afternoon. They all look to be in one piece.

Sloane:

God. I miss them like crazy… Jax, too. Why is NYC so far away? (sad face emoji)

Lanie:

I can’t imagine. But you’ll be home as soon as you can, AND you’ll bring two new acts with you! (champagne emoji)

Sloane:

From your lips to God’s ears, as Nana would say.

Sloane:

Oh, since we’re all here… you’ll never guess what I heard today!?!?!

Raven:

That turkey sandwiches do taste better with Doritos on them?

Lanie:

What is wrong with you?

Raven:

Apparently, my kids are the only ones with superior taste buds as they insisted I make sandwiches like that today. I blame Milli. She’s the one who showed them.

Lizzy:

She’s not wrong. (Shrugging emoji)

Slone:

HELLO! I’m trying to talk here… Anyways… Word on the street is that Dad invited the neighbor over to watch movies and eat s’mores last night.

Raven:

Mrs. Rimer must have kept her hearing aids on low and just enjoyed the sweet treats.

Sloane:

The boys couldn’t stop talking about Dad’s neighbor. Apparently, they played UNO and watched a movie together, and she even came over for breakfast this morning.

Lanie:

When your boys aren’t trying to dominate the world, they really can be sweet. I’m glad they included her. You know her kids hardly ever come around.

Lizzy:

So Dad just invited her over? Or did she invite herself?

Sloane:

I don’t know… but however it happened, the boys were on cloud nine. They wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise.

Lanie:

That is really sweet. I’ve seen her watching the kids while they play in the yard. Maybe we should invite her over for family dinners.

Raven:

She may like the Lancasters better in small doses. We’re A LOT when we’re together. I’d be happy to invite her next time I see her, though.

Lizzy:

Gotta run. We’re heading to story hour. Will we see any of you there?

Sloane:

Not me. (crying emoji)

Raven:

Girls are still at camp.

Lanie:

I’m in. See you in twenty.

Sloane:

Give my boys a hug for me if you see them. I hope I wrap this up soon.
