Epilogue

They say, ‘the key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let go.’

I choose to let what happened to me go. Let go of the pain Costi’s mother inflicted on me since I was a little girl.

I never let her harsh words cut too deep, but there was always a lingering wound that dwelled deep within, wondering what I did wrong to make her hate me so much.

Now I know it wasn’t me at all she hated. I was just a reflection of something she couldn’t let go.

Needless to say, that was weeks ago, and Bishop Blackstone is no longer a problem.

Dead. Once and for all. Body accounted for and buried.

Now, the Four Families can get back to business. Dean fully updated us on the other three daughters, who are all alive and well:

Mia had been kept safe by Sebastian in her own unconventional kidnapping. After he recovered from a short stay in the hospital, he returned home to run the New York operation.

Ava never knew Bishop was even after her, being away on a movie set kept her busy.

Giana was captured by one of Bishop’s men, but everything worked out in the end.

“I have to be nice to this man?” my father asks, standing in the kitchen of his Miami estate.

I hug him. “Yes, Daddy. Remember, Constantine kidnapped me for my own good.”

My father scrunches up his face after he releases me from a giant bear hug. “I still think he could have told me about his plan. I was worried sick. All the manpower I wasted looking for you.”

“Well, maybe you can make him sweat a little.”

Constantine joined me in Miami to take his place at my side. To say it’s been a whirlwind of activity is an understatement.

“Gino’s not pleased,” my father reminds me.

I’d completely forgotten about the man my father wanted me to marry. I never planned on marrying him, but it still doesn’t change the fact that my father planned to turn over a sizeable portion of his business to him. He still might.

“What are we going to do about him?”

My father tugs at his chin, contemplating his next move. “I think Gino can figure it out. I wish you would have told me how he treated you earlier.”

I shrug. “It’s not important.”

Costi wraps an arm around me. “It is important. You’re important.” He kisses the top of my head and my father smiles.

“How was the move?” I ask him, changing the subject, wondering how everything went while bringing most of his possessions to Miami.

“Everything went great.” He releases his hold on me to shake my father’s hand. “Thank you for having me, sir.”

“This is your rightful place,” my father says, smiling.

“I won’t let you down,” Costi says.

We leave my father’s house, making our way across town to my high-rise condo.

“So, all your junk is in my place now?” I ask him as we ride the elevator up to the top floor.

Costi leans in. “No.” He shakes his head. “All your junk is in my place.” He steps closer, boxing me in against the giant mirror on the back wall of the lift. “We’re going to christen this entire building. We can start with the elevator.” He slams a fist against the stop button of the elevator panel. His mouth attacks mine in a fervent kiss.

I wrap my arms around his neck, needing him closer. We kiss the most passionate kiss, and he pushes me against the wall.

My legs instinctively wrap around his waist. His hands are everywhere, pushing underneath my dress, inching up my thighs. “I need you right here,” he whispers against the shell of my ear.

I’ve never done anything so scandalous, but my body lights with a white fire I find erotic.

“Yes,” I call out.

His fingers push past the panel of my panties, and he runs his middle finger along the seam of my wetness.

I claw at his pants, unzipping them and pulling him out. All hard flesh, pulsing and angry. I stroke him as he pushes my dress up.

He leads his dick to my entrance and pushes in, both of us stilling when he’s all the way in deep. “Fuck, you feel so good.”

I kiss his lips, needing him to move inside me. “Yes, Costi.”

He thrusts his hips, the two of us panting with passion. “Look how good you take this thick cock.” He stares at the spot where our bodies are joined.

He moves inside me, his body pushing deeper than I thought possible. He reaches a spot that makes me scream out in pleasure.

So much pleasure.

My breaths come out in shallow bursts. “Yes, right there.” I cling to his body, loving the feel of this man in my arms. The world sizzles around me, and I gasp as he slams into me with such force.

A white-hot heat travels through my system, turning me on even more as he pummels into me with speed and veracity. Like a wild beast.

With a rough hold on my hair, he grips each strand into his fist, tugging them with each thrust of his body.

“You’re mine,” he whispers against my lips as if there’s any question I am. His teeth scrape across the skin of my collarbone and then he bites down, roughly. “Mine.”

I love Costi’s animalistic side.

So primal.

“All yours,” I reassure him, tugging his hair with my fingers.

He slides his tongue between my lips, moving his mouth over mine. He growls and I swallow it down, loving how turned on I can make him. “I love you.” His voice is raspy, almost hypnotizing me.

“I love you.”

He pushes inside me again, over and over and my body builds and builds. I want him to kiss me everywhere. Forever.

Every touch. Every kiss. Every single thing he does is a major turn on. Even when he stares at me like he is right now. Like I’m the sexiest woman on the planet. And I love how he thinks I am. It makes me feel it. He makes me feel it with everything he does.

He fondles my breasts, sinking his teeth into my flesh, rubbing my nipples with his fingers, pinching them every so often. He possesses every inch of my body and I find it thrilling each and every time he does.

“I love you,” he says on repeat as his body moves with mine. I can see my orgasm over the horizon, getting closer with each touch from Costi. With each kiss from his lips.

“Yes, yes,” I pant out, my body shaking with bliss.

Costi tightens his hold on me, his body picking up speed as he groans through his own release. Our lips are mere centimeters apart, and my body explodes.

“That's what the stars told me all those times you asked. They said I'd never find anyone but you. No matter what life threw at us, we were destined to be together,” he whispers.
