The Talented Senior Sister Betrayed and Exiled

By Elara Frost

Prologue

Because I lost my little junior sister, I was cursed and resented by my Master and the other disciples.

They exiled me to the northeast as an exchange student.

I flew through the night on my sword toward Changbai Mountain.

I had even written my farewell letter.

But the moment I landed, my new Master wrapped me in premium tiger pelt like a dumpling.

“This kid—wearing so little in this weather? Trying to freeze to death?”

My senior sister shoved a handful of thousand-year ginseng into my hands.

“Have a couple bites first. I’m going to hunt a flying dragon and stew it for you.”

My senior brother stuffed a premium immortal sword—complete with sword spirit—into my arms.

“I don’t have anything better. Take it. Don’t argue with me.”

That night I sat on the scorching hot kang.

Hugging the sword and gnawing on ginseng, I suddenly choked up.

So this was what home felt like.
