Chapter 13

Chapter Thirteen

Monday morning, Rod stretched and grunted as he woke. “How’s my handsome rancher this morning?”

“Admiring his sexy cowboy.” Wyl leaned to kiss Rod’s forehead.

“Mmmmmm…I love waking up next to you.” Rod snuggled up to Wyl, put his hand on his chest, and gently stroked. His elbow nudged Wyl’s hard cock. “Oh…the little rancher is standing at attention.” Rod dragged his fingertips down Wyl’s chest and teased the stiff shaft.

“You keep that up, and the little rancher will fire his ammo,” Wyl moaned. His fingers drifted down Rod’s chest and stomach, ending at Rod’s taut sack. He knew Rod’s sensitive areas, and when he touched him…everything was sensitive.

Rod’s hard cock pressed against Wyl’s leg. Wyl loved how Rod felt in his hand and how his touch gave Rod pleasure. Rod moaned as he spread his legs and gave Wyl full access.

“Your fingers are the most magical in the world. You send me into orbit every time you touch me,” Rod whispered.

Wyl leaned over and kissed him deeply. Their tongues danced as they savored each other. The taste and smell of Rod always turned him on.

Wyl’s pre-cum flowed freely. Rod moistened his finger with it and brought it up to their lips. Wyl had never tasted his own pre-cum. But the flavor of their sex brought an intensity to Wyl’s feelings that bordered on euphoria.

Rod threw back the bedcovers to expose Wyl’s naked body. He suckled his nipples, tongued his navel, and moved down to lick the pre-cum from his cock.

Wyl’s pleasure sensations intensified. “Oh, baby, your little rancher is about ready to shoot.”

Rod reversed direction, and Wyl buried his face in Rod’s crotch…deeply inhaling his musky essence.

Wyl laved his balls, and Rod growled in ecstasy as his cock throbbed and pre-cum oozed out. Wyl took Rod in his mouth and savored his deliciousness.

“Oh, my God.” Rod gasped, then took Wyl in his mouth and used his tongue to tease Wyl’s stiff shaft. Wyl began to tremble as his orgasm started. He could feel Rod vibrating with pre-orgasmic tension. Cocks swelled in mouths before they both erupted with waves of ecstasy.

Wyl pulled Rod up, and they kissed passionately, sharing the flavor of their sex as they came down from the euphoria of their lovemaking. Holding Rod in his arms, he whispered, “Cowboy, I don’t know how I survived before you came along.”

Rod chuckled. “We each had moments of doubt, but we kept going after each other. I guess that means we were destined to be a couple. Almost like fate or something.”

“No guessing about it, babe. We were fated to be together.”

Rod pulled Wyl into a quick kiss. “How about breakfast? Is my Marine hungry?”

“Boy howdy.”

They showered, dressed, and then prepared the house for closure for several weeks. With the upcoming trip to San Francisco, the Hill Country home would stay vacant until at least September and perhaps October as they work to catch up after their trip.

Wyl’s stomach growled. “Didn’t you say something about breakfast?”

“Do you mind fixing it while I do some cleaning?”

“I can do that. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast okay with you?”

“Sounds good. Let me know if you need anything.” Rod went to do his cleaning.

Wyl busied himself preparing breakfast and soon called Rod to eat.

“Your breakfast smells terrific.” Rod came to Wyl and cradled his face, kissing his soft lips. “Thank you for cooking, babe. You’re my hero. Want a mug of coffee?”

Rod reached into the cabinet and brought out two mugs. He activated the pod device, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee soon joined the smells of breakfast. Rod set the steaming mugs on the table as Wyl set the plates of hot food on the placemats. They sat to eat.

“What time do you want to leave?” Wyl lifted a forkful of hot scrambled eggs to his mouth.

“We should be ready by eleven.” Rod buttered Wyl’s toast before buttering his own.

Wyl smiled. “We can grab lunch along the way and be at the ranch by three.”

Rod glanced at Wyl and saw something flash in his eyes, gone as quickly as it appeared. “I see an expression on your face like the days before you proposed to me. Something is going on.” He nibbled a piece of crisp bacon.

“Me? Plan something?” Wyl grabbed bacon and shoved the entire piece in his mouth before Rod could make him say more.

Rod laughed. “You’re a master at secret plans, Wyl Sterling. Too bad you never developed a poker face.”

“Can’t a guy grin at his husband without anything going on?” Wyl spoke around a mouthful of bacon.

“There is your smile grin and the I’m planning a surprise for you grin that you try to disguise. You can grin at your husband all you want but know that your husband can tell which grin you are grinning,” Rod teased.

“How could I be planning something? Since Walt's death, we had stayed apart only one night, and that was when I was in Dallas last fall, handling Mitzi and her lawyer. Surely you don’t think I planned something eight months in advance.” Wyl winked.

“Maybe my mind drifted to how we woke up this morning.”

“Uh-huh.” Rod popped the last bit of toast in his mouth and talked around the bite, “But I did enjoy how we woke up. Early morning ecstasy with my handsome Marine is always nice.”

Later that morning, they left their Hill Country home, planning not to return until after their trip to San Francisco. At three o’clock, Wyl took a left turn in downtown Blackfield and drove west toward the ranch.

“So, Smiley, you gonna let me in on the secret?” Rod’s curiosity finally got the best of him.

“What secret?” Wyl tugged his lower lip between his teeth to keep a grin at bay.

Rod punched his shoulder. “You are hiding something, and I figure I will discover it when we get to the ranch.”

“You think I have a surprise for you?”

Rod huffed. “I don’t think, I know. You’re horrible at hiding things.”

“Okay,” Wyl winked. “I’ll tell you. My surprise surrounds safety and security on the ranch.

I mentioned my dad’s intention to put up a new ranch gate.

Walt considered following through on Dad’s idea, but died before he did anything about it.

I decided to make that idea a reality. While we were in Kerrville, contractors built a new gate at the entrance to the ranch.

On either side are stone walls about four feet high.

In the center is an automatic solar gate we can activate from our vehicles, a keypad at the entrance, or the house.

Nobody can get in unless we let them in.

Above the gate is STERLING RANCH in big letters, and beneath in smaller lettering is Wyl and Rod Sterling. ”

“Oh, my God.” Rod gasped. “I can hardly wait to see it.”

As they neared the entrance to the ranch, the white limestone walls came into view. Wyl slowed down so they could see the new addition.

Rod gasped, and Wyl said, “What the…”
