Epilogue

CATFISH

Wren.

No second name.

Four letters that do little to tell me anything about who they are.

But color me intrigued by the person who was delivered to us by the Iron Outlaws New Jersey chapter.

Their personality leaves me wanting to keep them safe, one minute, and to push all their buttons, the next.

And some days, I’m glad there’s a hands-off protection clause in place, because fuck knows how the club would react if I started a relationship with someone who dances over gender lines like Wren does.

I always thought I’d end up married to a woman, one day, but Wren intrigues me more than anyone I’ve ever met.

Because when we’re together, we’re wrapped in the kind of banter you see in the old TV series’ in the nineties. And when we’re apart…I dream of undressing them and fucking them in a million different ways.

But King made it clear.

And Grudge reinforced it.

My only job when it comes to Wren is to protect them.

So, as Wren sits in the corner of this goddamn cabin, and I do my best to ignore their tears to keep watch, in case anyone figures out where we are, I hope they all understand why I’ve done what I’ve done:

Wren was meant to be mine.

And they’re all about to find out just how far I’ll go to keep Wren safe.
