Chapter 22

Chapter Twenty-Two

Archer left Elton to grab a bite while he made one final hosting pass around the first floor, filling glasses and checking on guests, before returning to the kitchen and setting down his corkscrew and hosting duties for the evening. “Shout if you—”

“Go,” Ezra said with a flick of his hand. “Show him off.”

“Pretty sure it’s the other way around.” Elton ditched his plate and took Archer’s outstretched hand, gaze roaming over him from head to toe again.

The outfit had definitely been the right call.

He’d debated going more rugged or more minimal, but he’d opted for sexy and elegant, manifesting the sexy and elegant man he’d wanted to spend the evening with.

And Elton had made it.

Leading him by the hand, Archer drew him through the arch at the other side of the kitchen and down the hallway toward the stairs.

A combination of heated looks and thankful nods greeted their every step, past the library decked out as a speakeasy tonight, then the guest room where Rocky and James were scening, onlookers crowding the doorway.

Archer paused just beyond the edge of the crowd and drew Elton closer. “Do you want to watch?”

“If you do,” he said. “I’m interested in what you like, so I know for next time.”

Next time.

They’d talked about the future, and Archer believed Elton when he’d told him that he wanted Archer to be a part of his, but Next time painted a clearer picture of that future than Archer had ever allowed his heart to hope for.

A likelihood more than a mere possibility.

He hauled Elton the rest of the way in for the long, lingering kiss both of them had been wanting since Elton walked through the door.

“Finally,” Elton sighed once they broke for air.

Archer chuckled. “More where that came from, but first, come with me.” Arm through his, he led Elton up the stairs, past the group scene in the primary, to the smaller room where a man was tied on a cross, being flogged by a person in leather.

Archer leaned a hip against the wall outside the door, a view to what was going on inside, and Elton stood behind him, arm around his waist, lips at his ear. “I don’t know how to use a cat.”

“You know how to use a crop, and besides, it’s not about the pain for me. At least not anymore. My body has enough aches at this age.”

“It’s the restraints,” Elton correctly deduced. “Like our first morning together.”

“Exactly. It can be your weight, or it can be ropes, pulleys, a rack.” He lifted his ass, rutting back against him. “All while being overwhelmed with sensation. I want to let go and come alive.”

Elton cinched his arms around him tighter and rotated on his hip, turning them away from the scene and back against the wall, notching his erection more firmly against the groove of his ass. “Like the things you grow.”

He nodded, then leaned his head back on Elton’s shoulder, giving him more neck for his lips. “It’s better when I’m tied down and don’t have to think. I don’t have to manage everything. I can just feel.”

“So, if I take you back to the cabin, tie you to the bed, and kiss every inch of this beautiful body . . .” He coasted a hand over his torso, fingers slipping beneath his plunging V-neck and around a nipple.

Archer let his eyes slip closed, drowning in the tight hold and teasing sensations. “But don’t let me come right away. Make me struggle for it a bit.”

“Like your grapes.”

“Makes better wine.”

Elton nibbled at the tendon in his neck. “So not until I say so.”

Archer’s cock was rock hard, but so was the one rutting against his ass. And he wanted to know more. What about this situation was turning Elton on? “What do you need?”

“The edge,” Elton said. “To be brought right there but not to come until my partner does.” His hand drifted lower, cupping Archer through his pants.

“If you’d let me, I’d tie you down, straddle you, and ride this piece of yours so it pounded my prostate over and over, but I wouldn’t come until after I told you too, after I felt you explode inside me, and then I’d make a mess all over this gorgeous chest again. ”

“You’d let me fuck you? Bare?”

“If that’s what you wanted. I’m negative. No one but you since my last test.”

“Me too, and yes. Fuck yes.”

Elton pinched a nipple and Archer groaned, thrusting into the grip around his cock, seeing everything Elton described behind his closed eyes and wanting it, wanting all of him, desperately. “I need you.”

Elton rocked into him, harder and faster. “I don’t think we’re going to make it to the cabin.”

Archer racked his lust-drenched brain for hidden spaces in this house, someplace private like Elton wanted for their first time. He’d just landed on the laundry room when a shattering glass downstairs gave him a better idea.

Brought him back to that night last fall when a future Archer had thought a fantasy had suddenly come to life after fifteen years. “I know where we can go.”
