Chapter 12

For the portrait background, Flurry took over an unused ballroom and went to town on a corner of it, turning the space into a pocket of wintery forest complete with snow-covered trees and a mounted pair of rabbits.

That last bit wasn’t as creepy as it sounded, but it did make me feel a little like a Disney princess with my woodland friends.

“If they end up not being to your liking,” Delyse said on a laugh, “I can cover them up. I’m just sketching now, so you’ll get an idea of what they look like from the start.”

The rabbits were sitting about a foot to the left of me. I could look over my shoulder and see them, but Delyse had asked me to stop moving. “This is only the second time I’ve been this close to a stuffed animal. I mean the dead kind, not the toy.”

“Oh? Do they not practice taxidermy in the human realm?”

“Oh, no, they do! Maybe not as much as they used to. I don’t know anyone who goes hunting, actually.

” I watched her drawing me, really wanting to look over my shoulder.

“There was a stuffed bird of some kind in my hotel room, and I had to throw a blanket over it because it kept staring at me. Like, I swore its eyes followed me around the room. Man, I wonder what they think happened to me.”

And how had that slipped my mind until now? Sure, a lot was going on here, but I was a missing person to my friends. I’d just disappeared right there on the trail. Had any of them seen me step into the ring? Were they even able to get help since they couldn’t explain where I’d gone?

“Because you fell through the ring?” Delyse asked.

“Yeah. I was hiking with friends. We’d stopped on the trail, so I’m guessing it looked like I just vanished right in front of them.”

“And they didn’t follow you?”

I shrugged before making myself be still again. “I was the only one who came through to here, so I don’t think so. I can’t imagine what’s it been like for them with trying to explain where I went.”

She peered around the canvas at me. “Do you have family and work to miss you as well?”

“No family. That’s part of what drew the four of us together in the first place. We were all foster kids.”

“What does that mean?”

“Oh, um… Orphans?”

“Ah. My condolences.” She returned to sketching.

“Thanks. We were each other’s family, really. And work, well, I lost my job to a robot just before our trip, so I don’t have anyone to miss me there.”

Delyse frowned at me. “A what took your job?”

“Uh…” How to explain AI to a fairy? “It’s like a metal person that someone, um, used magic on to make it do a job. It doesn’t always do it correctly and often requires more supervision than the human it replaced, so a lot of people don’t think it’s an improvement.”

“That sounds both idiotic and dangerous.”

I smiled. “Pretty much, yeah.”

“Relax your face.” She returned to sketching.

I relaxed.

Until I got itchy.

Turned out that when rich guys wanted to get fancy for portraits, they wore skintight pants with a bejeweled codpiece tied over their dicks.

I hadn’t tried undoing it to take a piss yet, but it did have a matching ribbon in a bow on top.

And some part of it was starting to make me want to scratch.

I tried to discreetly roll my hips a bit for some relief.

“Milo?”

“Yeah?”

“Just scratch it.”

I blushed but reached down and took care of the itch. It wasn’t the first time. Probably wouldn’t be the last.

But of course this was the time that Flurry walked in and caught me digging at my crotch.

“Uh, it’s itchy,” I explained as my blush burned hotter. I stopped touching myself and put my hand back on my hip.

“I see,” he said as he sauntered over to look at the canvas.

Delyse was trying not to laugh and snorted instead. The two of them disappeared behind the canvas for a moment. Then Delyse set her tools down, took off her apron, and shot me a wink and a grin before she left the room.

I looked to Flurry, confused. “What just happened?”

“We’re taking a break.” Flurry came around the canvas to eye me with the same critical expression Delyse had been giving me for the last hour.

“Oh, good. I need to move. By the way,” I said, “was this you making a statement of some kind?”

I pointed the staff with a crystal bauble on the end that either was or looked a lot like the one I’d taken from him during my initial interrogation. I’d been standing there with it on the ground but aimed ahead of me, like I was about to lead an expedition into the wild unknown.

“Maybe,” he said with a grin.

I shook my head and laid the staff on the ground before carefully stepping out of the snow at my feet so that there was only the one set of footprints. I shook my arms out and then did a few squats.

“I hadn’t realized how hard it would be to stand still for so long,” I said as he walked over.

Today, Flurry was wearing a long gown that dragged behind him by a couple feet. It was silky and a soft blueish-silver color, and he had on a fur shawl that was very white and fluffy across his shoulders. I wasn’t sure which part of him I wanted to pet more.

He held out a hand to me. “Then perhaps you should sit down.”

I grinned at him curiously and took his hand to let him lead me over to one of the chairs under the window. He was being weirdly formal while also asking Delyse to give us some privacy. Was he planning— Oh.

Flurry stood in front of me and opened his gown from neck to ankle, revealing his beautiful naked body.

I licked my lips and reached for him, but he held my hands, kissed both palms, and then set them on my thighs as he knelt between my legs.

A shiver of anticipation went through me as he smirked at me and started untying the ribbon holding the codpiece over my cock.

“Remember how that’s tied,” I cautioned him, “because Delyse’s probably already sketched it in just so.”

“You think she’s unaware of my plan to debauch you right now?”

Debauch me… I chuckled. “I guess not.”

He set the cover aside and leaned in to kiss the head of my cock. “Perhaps I’ll make you a crown.”

“Sh-should I wear a crown?” I ran my fingers through the fur covering his shoulders as he licked at my dick from base to tip.

“Of course you can. I want you to,” he said before he took me into his mouth and sucked.

I moaned as I petted the soft fur and watched him bob up and down. I noticed his arm moving like he stroked himself at the same time and loved knowing he enjoyed this that much.

“Fuck, Flurry, you’re so beautiful. Look at you.

” I slid my hands under his clothes and caressed the back of his neck and his shoulders.

The strange texture of his skin on my hands and the way his spiky hair poked my abs reminded me over and over that he wasn’t human but he wanted me anyway.

A gorgeous, complicated fae prince, and he was mine.

I touched him, watched him, listened to his little sounds of pleasure, and gave myself over to the ecstasy building inside me.

When he had me writhing in my seat, panting for breath, and moaning with every exhale, I tried to warn him.

He didn’t stop sucking and then he was moaning as I came in his perfect mouth.

The way he swallowed had me twitching because it was like he wasn’t going to let a single drop escape him.

And when he sat back, eyes hooded and swollen lips parted, I got to watch him come in his hand. I leaned down and kissed him, tasting myself on his tongue. “So beautiful,” I whispered as I stared into his eyes.

He sat back on his heels, and I slouched in the chair as he…did something with—

“No! Flurry, you can’t!”

He was fashioning a crown from his cum! I tried to bat it out of his hands, but he twisted away with a laugh and stood up.

Gown open to continue revealing his athletic form, one shoulder of that fur trim slipping low, and his face gently flushed, he looked like a sexy imp as he kept molding his fricking cum into a damn crown.

“Flurry, I swear to god, I cannot wear that. I mean, maybe for you, in private, but not for the portrait. We’d both know exactly what it was every time we looked at it!”

“That’s the point,” he said with a grin.

I glared at him as he set the crown on my head. It was an amazing creation, just like everything he made from snow and ice. Under other circumstances, I’d tell him it was stunning and beautiful. As it was, I just knew Delyse would mention it. Ask where it came from.

“She’s going to know.”

He shrugged and stood back to admire his work. “Why would she? It’s white as the snow. Shiny like ice. She’ll probably just assume it’s the same as everything else.”

I could feel my blush spreading over my face. “That’s how she’ll know,” I said, pointing at my cheeks that were, no doubt, blazingly pink.

Flurry giggled and gave me a kiss on my cheek. “Get back into position, and I’ll go get her.” He stepped back and did whatever it was that sealed his gown closed again to the point that there was hardly a seam.

“Uh, excuse me.” I pointed at the hole in my pants that let my dick and balls hang out.

He snorted and retrieved the jeweled codpiece. “Stand up. I’ll fix it.”

I did, and he wove the ribbon back around the hole, sealing me back inside again. It was still itchy and now I had a semi from his fiddling. I glared at him all over again and gave myself a scratch.

Flurry chuckled like a little devil and sashayed over to the door.

I got back into the corner, making sure my feet fit into the footprints in the snow just right.

I had to hold the crown on as I picked up the staff—it did feel like ice, but there was no forgetting what it was.

By the time Delyse came back in, I was standing there with the staff pointing ahead of me and my hand on my hip.

“Oh, a crown,” she said with delight. “That’s a very nice touch.”

I closed my eyes for a second and gulped.

“You’re going to need to stop grimacing and blushing, though. Milo?”

I cleared my throat. “Might need a few minutes for that. Maybe work on my feet or something?”

She laughed a little and went behind her canvas.

I spent the next couple of hours trying not to think about what was on my head.
