Chapter 17 The AlliesFoes

The Allies Or Foes

Harper

I spend all of first period thinking about that kiss from Luke. My grades are definitely going to suffer from their attention, but it’s only the first week of school. Not much happens in the first week. I’ll be used to this soon. When the bell rings, I stand, determined to get away.

Luke steps into my path and grabs my ponytail. I will never wear my hair like this for him again. He closes the distance between us, and I draw in half a breath before his lips crash down on mine.

He grabs my ass and draws me into him, making me gasp. Taking advantage, his tongue explores my mouth like we have all the time in the world. He tastes like mint with a hint of bitter coffee. Heat rushes over me. As he crushes me against his hard body, wetness gathers between my thighs.

Losing myself to his kiss would be so easy.

Someone lets out a whoop, and I withdraw.

“Don’t flash anyone those panties, princess.” Luke’s cold eyes dance with a dark light. He squeezes my ass.

“Only you then?” I lift my eyebrows as I gaze innocently up at him.

“Get to your next class,” he growls and releases my hair.

I still beat the others to AP Statistics and have a moment to myself to take a few deep breaths to slow the racing of my heart. Besides being grounded, I don’t have any way to fight against what they want to do to me.

Maybe I should give in less, resist more. What might happen? More punishments? Luke’s eyes flash in my mind. Yeah, he’d like to give me punishments all day long. It’s why he likes my defiance.

“Deep thoughts, sweetheart?” Jack slides into the desk behind me.

“Making plans to take down the patriarchy,” I say over my shoulder.

“That skirt is heading in the right direction.” Jack grunts in approval. “I know I’d go down for it.”

I just shake my head. Caden and Eli slide into their seats. There are still a few minutes before class starts. Fuck it.

“What’s on the agenda for lunch?” I ask.

Caden smirks, and I remember making lunch this morning. His hot breath against my damp panties. I cross my legs. Caden’s gaze drops to them and he grins wickedly.

Eli turns sideways in his seat and his dark eyes drink me in. “Cafeteria, unless you want to find a quiet spot to be alone.”

I lift an eyebrow and lean forward a little. “Is that allowed? I mean, Luke said you guys aren’t trustworthy with me alone. I’d hate to get you all punished.”

Eli’s grin is positively evil. “You should worry about your own punishment, kitten. I mean, denying us a weekend because you’re grounded ought to be worth…hmm, what kind of punishment do you think that’s worth, guys?”

“Twenty lashes.” Caden grins.

“You are not whipping me.” Fuck that. I cross my arms over my chest. I’ll tell my mom everything before I let that happen. Fuck the consequences.

“With my tongue on your sweet pussy.” Caden’s eyes dip down to between my legs, and I squeeze them tighter around the ache his words cause.

“Or her breasts.” Jack leans in and trails his fingers down my neck. “I guess that would be more like twenty sucks or tugs.”

Shivers course down my spine and I can feel my nipples tighten.

“You never got to play seven minutes in heaven.” Eli’s finger tips my chin up so my gaze locks on his dark eyes. “I’m sure we can find a dark closet all together—”

The door opens and the teacher walks in. I’m barely breathing. The images these boys filled my brain with are way too enticing. Being stuck with all of them in a closet, surrounding me with their heat, touching me wherever they want.

They all turn to face forward, and I inhale. I need to figure out a way out, and fast.

Kisses from three horsemen usher me into third period. I collapse in my seat next to Kenz.

“You look worked over.” Kenz brushes a stray hair from my forehead.

“And they’re only kissing me so far.” I fan myself with my art book.

“Hi, Harper.” Some platinum blonde in wedge sandals and a short skirt waves at me as she stops beside my chair expectantly.

Shit, do I know her? “Hey, you.”

“What do you want, Penny?” Kenz says, emphasizing Penny.

Penny Wright.

Oh yeah, she’s been in art with me since freshman year but hasn’t said a word to me in all that time until today.

“You’re so funny, MacKenzie. I’m just checking in with Harper to see if she needs a ride to the away game tomorrow.”

I must look at Penny like she’s an alien because her smile droops a little.

“I mean, we have room in our car. Me, Izzy, Nat, and Vicky always go to the away games and figured since you’ve never gone to one, it would be nice to have someone to sit with.” Penny clutches her books to her chest and swivels on her heels like she’s a little girl asking me over for a playdate.

“I’m not going to the game,” I say slowly.

Her face falls. “But the guys—”

“I’m grounded. So the guys will have to make other plans.” I give her a smile as an idea pops into my head. “You know, maybe you should keep them company this weekend. They’ll be all alone at parties and probably need some relief after a hard week of school.”

Her brown eyes narrow on me. “You won’t be at the parties either?”

Maybe this girl likes me and not the guys. Weird. “No. Grounding means I can’t go anywhere this weekend.”

“How long are you grounded for?”

“Two weeks from Tuesday.” I frown like I’m devastated and not dancing in my chair because I figured out a way to stay out of the horsemen’s evil clutches. For a little while, at least.

She pouts. “That sucks. Can’t you get your parents to reconsider?”

Not that I would want her to, but… “No, Mom’s a stickler.”

“I was hoping we’d get to know each other better.” She smiles. “You should give me your phone number so we can keep you posted on what the guys do. We can be your eyes at the party.”

“Oh, uh, sure?” What the hell is happening right now? I glance at Kenz, who shrugs. I rip out a piece of paper and scribble my number on it. When I hand it to Penny, she grins like I’ve handed her gold and not a scrap of paper.

No one has ever asked for my number before.

“I’ll text you right away with my name, so you’ll have mine.” She starts to turn before she says, “Do you mind if I give it to Izzy, Nat, and Vicky?”

“Why not? Go crazy.” I smile like I honestly give a shit. No one but Kenz, the guys, and my mom text me. Oh, and I get coupons from this pizza place I’ve ordered from occasionally.

Penny grins and hustles back to her seat.

“What the fuck was that about?” I whisper to Kenz. I glance back at Penny, who’s sitting next to Natalie Edwards. They both wave at me as if we’re best friends now.

“That clique always had boyfriends during high school. They lost their virginities the old-fashioned way to said boyfriends. My guess is they’ve heard of the horsemen’s…”—she clears her throat—“sizeable assets and wanted to get a taste this year, but you’ve got them locked down.”

“So the only access point to them is through me?” Fuck my life. “Not only do I have to put up with seduction and punishment from four dicks, but now every girl will want to be my friend to get on said dicks? Even though the guys aren’t allowed to touch another girl?”

Kenz grins. “Something like that. Oh, don’t forget the other guys.

There will be the ones who want to earn favor with the horsemen.

The ones who might want to pull a fast one on the guys and try to seduce you themselves to get back at them.

And then the ones who will run when they see you for fear looking will earn them a beatdown from Caden. ”

“You know, senior year was supposed to be easy. The most stressful thing was going to be getting into college.” I shake my head. Pulling out my pencil, I open my sketch pad.

“All because you still have a hymen.” Kenz bumps her shoulder into mine.

“Lucky me,” I grumble.

Ms. Sullivan begins class today by talking about our portfolios and what type of work should go into them for college. Something I’m not worried about, so I focus on the wire dragon sculpture in the corner. Ms. Sullivan keeps some of her students’ art.

This one is from last year. Whoever worked on it was in a different class, but I saw it grow and develop over months.

While the teacher goes on about portfolios, I start sketching the wire dragon.

I’ve seen some of the other works by that artist, but whoever it is, they always sign it with a symbol and not their initials.

A sword through a crescent moon.

Not that I will get to know the artist, but I definitely admire their work. I can’t wait to see what they make this year. Unless they were a senior last year. That thought makes me a little sad.

But they could be in this class.

“How long do you think the grounding will hold them off?” Kenz asks as Ms. Sullivan leaves us to do solo work for the rest of the class period.

I drag in a breath and exhale. “Hopefully the whole time. I might have to come up with another reason to get grounded that won’t make them punish me. I think part of why they aren’t pushing too hard yet is because of the webcams.”

“Webcams?” Kenz’s eyebrows almost meet her hairline. “They webcam you?”

“Shh.” I look around to make sure no one is paying attention. Natalie waves at me, and I wave back before turning around. “They hacked my laptop and they have webcams in their rooms too.”

“Have you seen their dicks? Because I heard Caden’s is huge, like not even exaggerating.” Kenz leans into me so we can talk low.

I sigh and blush. “I’ve seen Jack’s.”

“Hard or soft? How many inches? Is it thick?” Kenz pauses and purses her lips. “Brandon’s isn’t that long, but it’s thick.”

I open my mouth and close it. Having very little to compare Jack’s dick to, I shake my head. “I’m not discussing dicks with you in class.”

“When then?” She grins. “Oh, why don’t I come over Friday night, and we can watch some movies and talk then? We can waste time until the guys get back from the game.”

I smile. I could use some girl time. “Sounds good, but probably not a sleepover, just in case the guys pop on after the game.”

Kenz’s eyes sparkle. “We definitely have a lot to talk about.”

Maybe together we can figure out how to get me out of this arrangement with the horsemen.
