Chapter 24

Savannah

I wake feeling deliciously sore in all the right places.

Muscles I didn’t even know I had are making their presence known, but I wouldn’t trade this ache for anything.

The weight of two strong, warm bodies presses in from either side, keeping me cocooned in their heat. My heart does this ridiculous small flutter when I realize they’re still here. As if they don’t want to let go of me, they are still tangled up with me.

I remember last night—they are serious about this relationship, want to marry me. I smile into the pillow, and my body is heavy with satisfaction. And I said yes.

Damn, last night was… something else.

It isn’t just the pleasure. It is the way they take their time, the way they work together, the way they know exactly how to push me over the edge again and again and again…

I shift, and a deep, satisfied soreness pulses between my thighs. Yeah. Definitely again and again.

But nature calls, and I’m gonna have to wiggle out of this cuddle pile if I don’t want to embarrass myself.

It takes some effort, but I manage to slip from between them, their combined heat lingering on my skin. Todd stirs, mumbling something unintelligible before settling back into the pillows. Colton barely moves, his heavy arm draped over the blanket where my waist used to be.

I tiptoe to the bathroom, closing the door softly before turning on the light.

The mirror confirms what I already feel. My skin is flushed, marked in places where ropes and hands held me down. The indents on my body are faint, slight impressions of where the bindings once were. I run my fingers over them, and a shiver runs down my spine at the memory.

They took total control. And I loved it.

A slow, wicked grin spreads across my face.

I should thank them properly.

And also, maybe… get a little payback.

Something fun.

Something devious.

I sneak back into the room, biting my lip to keep from giggling. They’re both so relaxed, sprawled out in the sheets, oblivious to what’s coming.

I sneak into the closet, intending to steal the ropes. When I open the bag, moving so slow the sound of the zipper is barely audible, I decide on the cuffs instead. Taking two pairs, I return to the bed and slip under the blanket, on Colton's side.

He’s utterly still in that heavy, deep sleep only men who’ve thoroughly wrecked a woman can seem to manage. He doesn’t stir when I slip the cuffs around his wrists. After a bit of fumbling in the dark, I manage to clip them together.

Todd is next.

Playful, devious Todd.

Carefully, I crawl to his side under the blanket. I’m a woman on a mission.

He stirs.

I freeze.

Then he sighs and relaxes again.

I bite my lip, resisting the urge to laugh.

Slowly, I reach my destination, and soon his wrists are bound as well.

And then?—

I pounce.

Todd jerks awake with a startled yell, his entire body snaps into tenseness as I launch my attack. I run light fingers over his sides and under his armpits.

Todd jolts. “What the fuck?” He barks the words, half-groggy and half-incredulous.

I throw off the blankets.

From the other side of the bed, Colton grunts, blinking blearily. “What…” He tries to turn but his arms are tied to the headrest.

I sit up, all innocence and straddle Todd’s stomach with a triumphant grin. “Good morning, my Masters. Did I wake you?”

Todd glares, trying to catch his breath. I run my fingers over the sensitive flesh again.

“What kind of menace are you?” He shudders and bucks.

“The sexiest kind.”

“The ‘in trouble’ kind,” Colton growls.

“Oh yeah?” I’m giddy with glee. “And how is the big, mighty Dom going to get me in trouble? You’re... a bit tied up at the moment.”

He growls, and I bite back my laughter.

“Look at her.” Todd is fighting a grin and presses his lips together in a firm line but his eyes sparkle and dance. “All smug and pleased with herself.”

Colton snorts. “You’re playing with fire, Starling.”

I tilt my head, feigning confusion. “Am I?”

“You’ll have to release us at some point.” Todd sounds all reason.

“But I can have fun until I have to, can’t I?”

“You can,” Colton agrees.

I lean forward to resume my tickle-fest on Todd, but I halt when his brother speaks again.

“How well do you handle being tickled?”

Uhm. Not.

“Ah, I can read your face. You hate being tickled, don’t you, baby?”

I do. I don’t speak the words, but Colton nods like I have.

“See.” Colton sounds reasonable and regal. “Well, I’ll remember everything you do, and we will both pay you back for each infraction.”

I blink, stare at my hands, only inches away from Todd’s skin, and blink again. Bad idea.

I grumble under my breath.

And start to release the men.

Todd sits up, scrubbing a hand down his face, still looking thoroughly unimpressed. Then his gaze sharpens, and a slow, knowing smirk curls around his lips.

Oh.

Oh no.

I barely have time to react before Todd lunges, tackling me back onto the bed.

I shriek, kicking and laughing as he pins me down. “No! Wait!”

“You started this, baby.” His voice is all gravel and promise.

Colton chuckles darkly, shifting to loom over us. “And now we’re gonna finish it.”

I swallow hard.

Maybe this wasn’t such a smart idea after all.

Or maybe it was the best one yet.
