31. June

CHAPTER 31

JUNE

T wo days after my trip to San Diego with the boys, the principal informed the school faculty that Jake, Lachy, Ryan, and Banksy were coming to the school to talk to the students this Friday. I thought that only my boys would come, but the more the merrier. The kids will be so excited.

I’m cooking them dinner tonight, and I asked to host. I love their apartment, but tonight I wanted to be home—even if it’s temporary. The pets are all on their best behavior, including Admiral, who hasn’t cursed in days.

For once, I’m not running behind. I’ve showered, and I’m wearing a super cute new dress that I know the boys will love. It’s a white eyelet fabric with a sweetheart neckline that makes my boobs look great. It’s tight around my waist and hips, then the skirt flares out, stopping mid-thigh.

There’s a knock on the door, and Lachy opens it. I’d already told them I’d leave it unlocked.

“Good evening, lass. What smells so good?”

I stop for a second and watch my three hotter-than-sin boyfriends walk in. My heart overflows with so much love that I can barely breathe.

“It’s the chili,” I say. “We’re having Frito pie.”

“That sounds delicious.” Lachy snakes an arm around my waist and pulls me to him, claiming my mouth in a hot and delicious kiss. It makes me dizzy in an instant. Mercifully, he steps back quickly.

But I don’t have a chance to recover because Jake and Ryan kiss me next, and it’s like they’re competing for who can make my head spin faster. By the time all the greetings are done, I’m flustered and burning up. I open the fridge and stay in front of it for a couple beats.

“What are you looking for, darling?” Jake asks.

“Nothing. I’m just cooling off.” I shut the fridge door and turn around. They’re all staring at me with shit-eating grins. “Don’t let that go to your heads.”

“Too late.” Ryan smiles. “I brought dessert.” He points at the foil-covered baking dish.

I frown. “You didn’t need to bring dessert. I said I had vanilla ice cream.”

“I know, but I had the time and the inspiration.” He shrugs.

I arch a brow. “What did you make?”

“Fresh peach cobbler.” His grin broadens.

My cheeks become hotter. I guess I was the inspiration. “That sounds amazing. I haven’t had peach cobbler in a long time.”

“I can’t wait to try it,” Jake pipes up, looking at me as if I’m the dessert. Who am I kidding? They are so planning on eating peach cobbler off me. It’s become our thing.

Ryan turns the oven on while I finish laying out the ingredients for the Frito pie. He pinches my ass as he walks by but runs away before I can retaliate.

“I’ll get you later,” I say.

“Bring it on.”

“Well... dinner is ready.” I point at the slow cooker, which holds the steamy chili. Then I open the bags of Frito chips.

I let the boys serve themselves first before I fill my bowl and join them at the table. Mrs. Carpenter has a square table instead of rectangular, which works out perfectly for us. I’m not too far from any one of them. Jake picks up the bottle of red wine he brought and asks if I want some.

“Just one glass. I do have to work tomorrow.”

“Right... but you don’t have to go to sleep early, do you?” He arches a brow.

I shake my head, smiling. “Nope.”

Once everyone has their drinks, Jake lifts the glass. “A toast to our beautiful chef.”

Ryan bats his eyelashes. “Aww, thanks, Jakey.”

“You’re such an eejit,” Lachy mutters.

I laugh. “You’re all silly.”

Ryan winks at me and holds my stare as we sip the wine. Heat spreads through my body like wildfire, and it’s not because of the wine or the food—I didn’t have a chance to take a bite yet.

“Silly for you,” Lachy replies.

“Man, this is good,” Ryan says after swallowing the first bite.

Jake and Lachy say the same thing, making pride swell in my chest. I know my Frito pie is yummy, but when they enjoy my cooking, it’s extra special. I guess there’s extra satisfaction in feeding the people you love.

“We finally have a date for your visit to my school. The kids are super excited,” I say.

“Only the kids?” Jake asks.

“Me too... but I’ll probably be a wreck. What if I’m too obvious that I’m dating all of you?”

The boys trade a glance, and something changes in the air. The lightness is gone. They all grow serious, and it makes me tense. Shit. This is it. They’re going to tell me it’s over.

“About that...” Jake starts.

My stomach drops. “You’re breaking up with me, aren’t you?”

Jake’s brows shoot to the heavens, and his shocked expression is quite similar to Lachy’s and Ryan’s.

“Lass... be serious. Where did you get that notion?”

“You’re acting all... cagey.”

“It’s because we want to propose something you might not like,” Ryan replies.

I wait for someone to elaborate, but when they all remain mute, I say, “Are you going to spill it on your own or do I need to knock you over?”

“We’re not happy about our current arrangement,” Lachy replies.

I blink fast. “I don’t understand.”

“We don’t want to hide our relationship, Peaches. We want more,” Ryan pipes up.

The sinking feeling in my stomach returns. They want to date me out in the open, confess they’re all my boyfriends. This should be wonderful news, but the anxiety squeezing my chest says otherwise. I can’t imagine my life without them, but at the same time, I can’t picture how I could be their girlfriend and not have my life implode.

My parents come to the forefront of my mind. They’ll never accept I’m with three men. I’ll be cut off, shunned. I can’t get air into my lungs, thinking about being labeled an outcast by everyone.

“Are you okay?” Jake asks.

I push my chair back and get up. “I need a moment.”

“Where are you going?” Ryan asks.

My heart is beating so fast, I can’t answer him right away. “I... I just need some fresh air. I’ll be right back.”

JAKE

My stomach sinks as I watch June head to the balcony. We totally ambushed her with this conversation. Fuck. We should have waited.

“That went well,” Lachy grumbles.

“We caught her by surprise. She’ll come around,” Ryan replies, but his face doesn’t match the optimistic message.

“What if she doesn’t want to openly date us all?” Lachy turns to me.

I rub my face. “Then we have to respect her wishes.”

Ryan refills our glasses of wine, then he drains his. “Being in love sucks.”

“Do you regret inviting her to our afterparty?” Lachy asks.

He twists his face into a scowl. “Hell no. I’d do it all over again, even if the result was the same heartache. Call me a glutton for punishment.”

By the time June returns to the dining room, we’re already on the second bottle of wine. No one finished their food. Her eyes are red, and her cheeks are damp, making my guilt multiply by a hundred. I make a move to stand but she motions with her hand. “No, don’t get up.”

“Lass... were you crying?”

She sniffles, pressing her lips together. Her facial muscles are all tense, as if she’s trying to keep herself together. “I... I can’t do it. I’m sorry.”

Ryan’s face crumbles. “Peaches...”

“It is not that I don’t love you. It’s scares me how much I do. But... there are other things to consider. I understand if you want to end things now. I won’t hold it against you.”

Lachy gets out of his chair and pulls her into a hug. “We aren’t going to end anything. It’s okay. We should have waited longer.”

She leans back and looks into his eyes. “What if I can’t ever give you what you want? It isn’t fair to anyone.”

“Do you want to break up?” I ask through the lump in my throat. The idea of not being with her anymore is pure agony.

Her eyes widen. “No. That’s the last thing I want.”

I get up, and while June is still in Lachy’s arms, I cup her cheek and slant my lips over hers. I take my time savoring her mouth, letting her know I need her like the air I breathe. Ryan joins us, then drops into a crouch and puts one of her legs over his shoulder. I break the kiss, then slide one spaghetti strap of her dress down her arm while Ryan lifts her skirt and disappears underneath the drapes of fabric.

June gasps, arching her back. An invitation I can’t resist. I trail open kisses on her shoulder and up her neck. Dinner is completely forgotten.

But Winston decides we’re playing games and comes to join the fun. He jumps on Ryan, distracting him from what he’s doing.

“Okay. We’d better move to the bedroom,” I say.

“Right.” Ryan unfurls from his crouch, lifting June off the floor and throwing her over his shoulder.

She squeaks. “What are you doing?”

“Moving this party to a better location,” he replies.

Lachy is the last one to follow us into her bedroom, and he makes sure Winston doesn’t slip through before he can close the door. Winston complains. “Sorry, buddy.”

“Can you put me down, please?” June asks.

Ryan looks at me, and smirks. “Not so fast. Jake wants a taste.” He pushes her panties aside, revealing her pink pussy.

My cock is so hard now, it’s straining against my jeans. I need relief, but I can’t resist the offering. I step closer, replacing Ryan’s hand with mine, and lick June as if she were a delicious popsicle. Moaning, she squirms in Ryan’s hold, making him dig his fingers into her ass.

“Give me a kiss, lass,” Lachy groans, and a moment later, her kitten sounds disappear.

Before Ryan complains, I step back. “Put her down.”

He sets June in the middle of the mattress, and I can’t help but think she looks like a bride on her wedding night, with her white dress and flushed cheeks. Ryan’s suggestion that we marry her comes to the forefront of my mind. Obviously, she can’t legally marry all of us, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have a marriage. If anyone can share a wife and make it work, it’s us.

“You’re so beautiful,” I say in awe. “I can never get tired of looking at you.”

“You make me feel beautiful.”

Ryan joins her on the mattress, sliding next to her. He runs his fingers across her cleavage, making her chest heave. “Any special requests tonight, Peaches?”

She swallows hard. “Anything you want.”

I take off my clothes before I lie down on her other side. “I want this dress gone.”

“The zipper is in the back.” She rolls to her side, facing Ryan.

He claims her mouth, kissing her deep and hard, while I open the zipper. Lachy, who’s still standing at the edge of the bed, assists in getting June out of her dress. I roll on my side too, pressing my cock against her ass.

She’s now sandwiched between Ryan and me, and I know it’ll be only a matter of time before Lachy rearranges June so he can join the fun too. I push her hair out of the way to kiss her neck, then slide my erection down until it’s between her legs. Damn it, she’s so wet, I wouldn’t need lube to fuck her tight ass.

“Spread her legs for me, Jake,” Lachy says, fisting his cock.

“Hold on.” I lean close to June’s ear. “Are you ready for me, gorgeous?”

“Yes,” she murmurs. “Always.”

I tease her puckered hole with my head until her muscles relax. Then I slide in slowly, letting her get used to my girth.

“Oh God,” she whispers. “This feels good.”

“I know, babe. I know.” I lift her knee as I go in deeper and spread her legs in the process.

Lachy brings his face to June’s pussy, and whatever he does, makes her gasp loudly.

“Do you like that, Peaches?” I move my hips, thrusting a bit faster. “Do you like when Lachy eats you out?”

“Yes,” she hisses.

“How about when I suck your lovely tits?” Ryan asks.

“Oh... I love that too.”

“You’re made for us, gorgeous,” I whisper. “Only for us.”

“Yes. I’m yours, only and always yours.”

“Good girl.” I fuck her harder until I lose myself completely.

She may not want to share what we have with the world yet, but one day, she will.
