Epilogue
THOR
3 WEEKS LATER
T oday, my woman and I are finally leaving for our honeymoon. Maddy and I have been married for two weeks now. We got married at the courthouse. Her family joined us inside the courthouse along with my club. I told Madison that if she wanted, she could plan a wedding. I just wanted to make her my wife as fast as possible. She told me a wedding wasn’t necessary because being married is the only thing she wanted too.
Ethan has started prospecting along with Blade and Torch’s best friend, Wyatt. Luis and Kevin have been patched in. Luis’s road name is Storm and Kevin’s road name is Ghost. We had their patch party last weekend. It’s one of the reasons why Maddy and I had to hold off our honeymoon.
The other reason we couldn’t leave is because the clubhouse was under investigation. The FBI wasted no time serving us with search warrants. They went through every single thing inside the clubhouse and the family homes. That had Viper fuming. Going through his children’s rooms was stepping out of line.
When they confiscated Cara and Sara’s computers, the girls had a hard time keeping the laughs in. We all knew they wouldn’t find shit on their computers. For FBI agents, they hadn’t done their homework. If they had, they would know the girls used to work for the government as hackers.
In the end, when they couldn’t find any evidence linking us to the murder of Thomas, plus they saw video surveillance of the clubhouse the day it happened, they were forced to drop the case.
My mom called me during the investigations. She left me several voicemails asking me if I would come to Thomas’s funeral. I couldn’t believe the audacity of her. Her brother was a monster but in the end, it didn’t matter to her.
I didn’t matter.
When we talked on the phone, she grilled me about Thomas’s death. At one point, she accused me of pulling the trigger myself. I spoke my peace to her that day, wished her the best, and ended the call. I can’t have her in my life. Knowing that she chose him over me is like a knife to the heart. I don’t have kids, but I would never side with someone who has wronged them. I don’t care how much I love that person.
Construction finally started on our home. I handed the reins over to Madison. I want her to build her dream house. I’ll be happy just having her near me.
The bathroom door opens, breaking me from my thoughts. Madison steps out fully dressed with a smile.
“You ready?” she asks.
Nodding, I get up and pull her into my arms, pressing my lips to hers in a brief kiss. “Let’s go, baby. I can’t wait to have you to myself for two weeks.”
Living in the clubhouse doesn’t offer much privacy for us. Either the brothers are loud and partying, or Liam somehow finds his way to my room looking for Madison. I love him to death, but I can’t count how many times he has cockblocked me. I honestly don’t know how Viper and Cara have sex.
I sling both of our duffle bags over my shoulders before grabbing our suitcases. Madison shakes her head and grins when she tries to grab one of the bags and I smack her hand away.
We get down to the common room and Paul walks over to us. “The plane is waiting and ready. Have fun,” he says with a smile.
“Are you really not going to tell us where you’re sending us,” Madison whines.
Paul chuckles and grins at her. “I’ll give you a hint.” Madison lights up and bounces on her toes. “You’ll be staying in one of my hotels.”
Her face falls and she frowns at him. “That’s not a hint. You have hotels everywhere,” she cries.
“Well, that’s all you’re getting.” He gives her a hug before shaking hands with me and walking off.
“That’s so not fair,” she moans, pouting.
I laugh before shaking my head. “Babe, it’s what he does. Viper, Bear, and Blade all were gifted surprise honeymoons from him, and he didn’t breath a word of where he was sending them.”
She sighs and mutters a “fine.” The brothers all say their goodbyes to us. Right before we’re about to leave, Cara shouts our names. She rushes across the common room and pulls us into tight hugs.
“Do me a favor, will you?” she asks when she pulls away.
“After what you did for us? Anything.”
Cara smiles at me and says, “Go make me a godbaby, please.”
Madison and I throw our heads back and laugh. Before I can tell my best bud I don’t think Madison is ready for that, she speaks up. “Done.”
I turn to her in shock, and she giggles. I might have expressed a few times wanting to knock her up, but she never said anything back. I assumed she wasn’t ready.
“I had my IUD taken out last week. It will take some time but?—”
I cut her off, smashing my lips against hers. Cara giggles and claps her hands while bouncing up and down. “Yes!”
I pull away with a raised brow. “You seem awfully happy about this.”
“My reasons are purely selfish. First, I can’t wait to be a godmother. Second, you two having a baby will make my mom stop demanding more grandbabies from me. If Madison gets pregnant, that will be two babies on the way and she can leave me the hell alone!” she hisses and walks away.
Blade and Bianca announced they were expecting a few days ago. The clubhouse went wild. As happy as Crystal was, she still asked Cara and Sara to give her more. They ran faster than a fat kid chasing an ice cream truck.
“Let’s go, baby. Soon as we’re on the plane, I’m taking you to the bedroom and we’re going to start making that baby.”
There’s an SUV with a driver waiting for us out front. He helps me load the luggage and takes us to the airport. When we get on the plane, we speak to the flight attendants, and I throw Madison over my shoulder, doing exactly what I told her. We spend the entire flight sleeping and fuckin’.
This has to be one of the longest flights I have ever been on. After ten hours, we’re forced out of the cabin in search of food. Evelyn comes out of the pilot’s cabin and asks us if we’re hungry. She tells us to take a seat at the table and returns and sets down two steak dinners. We dig in enjoying our meal in silence.
When she collects the plates, I stop her. “How much longer do we have?”
“About six hours.” She smiles and walks away.
Maddy and I look at each other with furrowed brows.
Where the hell are we going?
We head back to the bedroom and decide to try and sleep a little more. By the time we wake up, the pilot is asking us to strap in our seatbelts for landing. We hurry and get dressed. Once we’re strapped in, the pilot begins to land. We come to a complete stop and Madison looks out the window.
She gasps and a beautiful smile stretches across her face. “He sent us to Tokyo!” she gushes.
I had mentioned to Cara a while back that Madison and I always wanted to visit Tokyo. Growing up we used to be obsessed with anime cartoons. I guess she passed the message to Paul.
I can’t help but return Maddy’s smile. I love seeing her happy. It’s the reason I live and breathe. No one will ever take her from me again. She is mine. For the rest of my days, I’m going to fill her life with love and happiness. Our forever is finally starting. I will never let her go.
