Epilogue
Two years later.
If someone told her two years ago, she would end up marrying Holden, Waylan, and Myles and have a one-year-old son and another on the way, she would never have believed them. Throw in her running her own restaurant, since food was her passion, and she would have laughed.
If someone told her two years ago, she would be living on a ranch in Montana, surrounded by an abundance of love, being protected, cherished, adored, and made love to every single night of her life, she would say that was the kind of life she wanted.
And she had exactly that.
As for her step-sister, Annique. Mercedes couldn’t thank her enough. It was after all her step-sister who had orchestrated everything, with a few mean words, that led to Mercedes finding again the three true loves of her life. Annique came around eventually and they were much better friends now.
Mercedes had everything her heart could desire.
