Chapter 79 Orion
ORION
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” a shrill voice demands, interrupting our moment. My dick is still wet as Nina comes bursting in, right when the halls are finally quiet.
“Oh hello, there.” I smile because I just came all over the prettiest woman alive, and not even my girlfriend’s crazy sister can wipe it off my face.
Nina barely glances back at me, quickly averting her eyes when she realizes we are still naked. “Can everyone put some clothes on? Goddammit, every time!” she complains.
“You need to stop sneaking up on us.” Sable shrugs but starts putting her clothes back on, and we follow her lead. “You know exactly what you walk in on, so maybe stop walking in.”
Nina curses loudly, eyes still averted, and of all the bitches and creeps in this place, I’m the most comfortable with her.
Now that we know that this is the real her, anyway.
She’s respectful enough in the weirdest way, and I can appreciate that, but I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to this.
Maybe I should give her a chance, though. She’s our only family left.
“Tell me why you came to my castle to scream at me, Nina,” Sable says loudly for the people still trying to listen. They scurry away as they realize she’s noticed them.
Nina makes an exasperated sound, but finally looks at us again. Her shoulders relax when she realizes we are dressed. The cum under Sable’s clothes is making me crazy, though.
“Why are you here, Nina?” Sable asks.
“You gave me money,” she accuses.
I chuckle ’cause no way that’s true.
“Yes.” Sable nods. “And?”
“What?” we all say at the same time.
Why is Sable going around giving this chick money? What the fuck is going on here?
Sable shakes her head and ignores our questioning looks, heading straight to Nina. “I gave you half of the Briarwick money. You’re my half sister. You got nothing on the Colefax side ’cause that’s not your family.”
Nina pushes Sable’s shoulder, and I snap into action. What the fuck is wrong with this girl? Before either of them can blink, I’m between them, shielding Sable.
“Don’t ever touch her!” I shout, and anyone remaining runs as quickly as possible.
“Please, Nina is not strong enough to bother me.” Sable laughs behind me and tries to push me aside. Nina reacts, sticking her chin up and stepping forward. Nina is begging to start something here, and I don’t fucking trust anyone with Sable.
“Come on, Orion.” Sable pushes me again, and this time, I move. Just because I like doing what she asks.
“I’m not complaining that I didn’t get the stupid Colefax money, you bitch.”
Sable chuckles at the name-calling. I’m so fucking lost that I turn to the others for help, but they all mirror my helpless expression.
“Well, so what’s your problem, then? You got bank fees or something? That’s not my problem!”
Nina rolls her eyes dramatically. “My problem is that I didn’t expect you to just give it to me, okay? I hate you!”
Sable laughs loudly. “You’re butt hurt because I’m not a bitch? Go to therapy, Nina. You have money now. You can afford it.”
Nina opens and closes her mouth like she still can’t believe what’s happened even though Sable confirmed it. “I might have to. The number of times I’ve seen my sister naked with her boyfriends might not be fixable even with a lifetime of therapy.”
“Please, you have so many other issues. Don’t even try,” Sable tells her.
They grin at each other, and I decide that their sibling relationship is worse than mine is with Soren. Really, girls are weird. And crazy, but I’m glad to win at something.
“There’s something else, though I’m not sure I should give you anything else with that attitude,” Sable says as she takes an envelope from her pocket.
Yes, I make my woman gowns with pockets. And I share her with my best friends and twin brother. Honestly, I’m the perfect catch.
“What’s this?” Nina asks before opening the letter Sable’s dad left her.
Her eyes fill with tears, but she swallows the feelings so quickly that if I hadn’t been watching, I’d have missed it.
“It was for you.” Sable shrugs. “I read it about a million times anyway.”
“So… can I keep it?”
“Yeah.”
They are quiet for a bit, and none of us know how to deal with that. We are all overprotective of Sable, but maybe it’s good that she has a sister, someone who was her best friend at one time.
“Fuck you, Sable, damn! I didn’t want to have warm and fuzzy feelings for you.” Nina seems frustrated, which is crazy ’cause she’s rich now. What is she complaining about?
“You were nicer when you were Liliana.” Sable chuckles.
“Tell me this one last thing. Is it true that you killed them all? Every last of the four families?” She looks back and forth, but the room is truly empty now. I would be very surprised if many people are left.
“You heard the gossip, or you heard the screams?” Sable smiles.
“Fuck.” Nina rubs her eyes with the heel of her hands. “Is it really over?”
Sometimes I forget how many people will celebrate over the grave of our fathers. Nina processes the information with a lot of cursing, but finally she nods to herself and looks back at Sable.
“Okay, but there’s one last Briarwick in this castle.”
“What?” I move into action, my eyes narrowing to every crevice, watching for an intruder. Who the fuck is left?
“What are you talking about?” Sable asks.
Nina smiles. “Carl Briarwick? I stole his body. He’s in the tunnels.”
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” I ask genuinely. Seriously, what is happening with this chick?
“You brought a corpse to school?” Sable asks.
Nina shrugs, unbothered. “You made corpses in a school. You made all the corpses we’re fighting about actually.”
“Whatever.” Sable waves the situation away. “One more to clean up, right?”
Nina laughs as if it’s the funniest thing she’s ever heard and leaves—not through the front door, but back in the bowels of the castle.
“Stop living in my castle!” Sable shouts after her, but I doubt Nina cares enough to pretend to listen.
“Okay, everyone is out, but your crazy half sister is still here…” I exhale.
“And the corpse of her uncle,” Lex adds.
“Not bad for a start.” Sable smiles, and then she’s back to the throne where she belongs.
