Letters

Wren,

How cross you must be to have written such a short letter. And to resort to our formal names. Though I did not question your loathing of me, it has been confirmed in a remarkably concise manner. I suppose a great writer knows how to convey her point in little words.

As for your question, it seems you have made an assumption about my character. I fear if I tell you it is incorrect, you won’t believe me. So instead I will point out that your only basis for such a claim is that you found me in a dark place.

Well, Storyteller, I found you there too. Do you deal in the darkness? Perhaps our answers are one and the same.

Yours,

Castien
