Letters

My dearest Castien,

Your bargain comes at the perfect time. We are approaching the date of Heron’s turn of year. It was our tradition for me to write him a story as my gift. I was grieved at the idea of losing that experience, but perhaps I can continue it with you.

Don’t scold me, but I stayed up all night writing the included story. It’s about two friends who go on a perilous adventure to make it to a magical cottage in a hidden forest. I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for encouraging me to write for joy again. I have missed it.

Your storyteller,

Wren
