Chapter 7
Chapter Seven
Tiffanie scanned the ballroom as the guests of the birthday girl streamed inside. Their reactions to her decorations thrilled her. The newly turned sixteen-year-old sparkled in a gorgeous pink gown.
In less than five minutes, the guest of honor found her tiara and squealed in delight. The mirror next to the photo booth became the most popular spot in the ballroom as all the girls carefully added their sparkling crowns to their hair. Then the picture-taking exploded.
One cute teenage boy approached and bowed regally to the birthday girl. Tiffanie smiled as he waved a hand toward the dance floor. Eagerly, she nodded and took the elbow he offered.
Princess. Phineas had thought she was beautiful when he’d first seen her.
She’d dated handsome men before. The chemistry between Phineas and herself sizzled at an insane heat level, unlike anything she’d experienced before.
Just being with him in the same general area made her happy, and who got wet panties from across the room? Was that because he was a Daddy?
A gust of cold air brushed past her shoulder. Tiffanie checked the vents above her for some visible problem. Everything seemed normal. She looked at the other side of the ballroom where Essie watched the dance floor. The event coordinator stood with her hand over her mouth in merriment.
Tiffanie followed her line of sight. To her amazement, the skirt of one of the young ladies rose as if the fabric had a mind of its own, and the material sharply slapped her dance partner’s hand that had drifted down to the young lady’s bottom.
The teenage boy yelped and lifted his touch from her derriere.
“How’s the chaperoning going?”
With a smile, Tiffanie turned to Zander. “I haven’t had to do anything,” she confessed.
“We have some additional assistants.”
“Really? Did more parents show up?”
Zander laughed and shook his head. “No, this definitely isn’t gentle parenting. More old-fashioned manner of enforcement, I believe.”
Tiffanie studied his face, struggling to figure out what Zander implied. Obviously, he knew information she didn’t. Before she could ask questions, Zander walked toward the punch bowl where two teenagers glanced around surreptitiously as if checking to see if anyone was watching.
“Hey, boys! We’re so glad to have you at Ferguson’s Folly. Are you having fun?” Zander said loudly. Unable to resist, Tiffanie followed him. What was going on?
Immediately, they straightened with guilty looks. A flash of white caught her eye, and the shorter teen juggled something and missed catching it. They both scanned the floor.
“Can I help you find something?” Tiffanie asked.
The other one gathered his composure to answer, “No. Nothing important.” He changed the subject. “I’ve never been in a ballroom before.”
“This is a memorable day, then. Did you need some punch?” Zander asked, ladling a small amount for himself.
He tasted the concoction before saying, “Perfect. I was concerned someone had messed with the recipe. This is my favorite. Help yourself.”
Tiffanie fought to control her expression. Guilt flashed across the boys’ faces. From their reaction, she figured out what Zander had seen. They’d tried to spike the punch.
A loud meow sounded from the floor. Everyone glanced down. Marmalade sat in front of the two teenagers. Under his paw, the smart cat pinned the screw-top. Having a great time, Marmalade batted the trapped lid and raced after it, skittering here and there.
“Tony, Jason!” the birthday girl called. “Come dance.”
“On our way!” The boys nodded respectfully to Zander and Tiffanie before they fled. As Tiffanie watched, one stopped at the restroom. She guessed he’d dumped the alcohol to avoid spilling the hidden, open container.
“Oh, you’re good,” Tiffanie said.
“Marmalade and I are becoming quite the team,” Zander said with a laugh. “I’ll grab the top so no one stumbles. Have some punch. It really is great.”
Tiffanie shook her head as she picked up a cup. Might as well taste his favorite recipe. “Mmm. This is good.”
Returning to her chair, Tiffanie kept an eye out for other strange happenings.
Maybe she missed other daring escapades, but the shenanigans seemed to have ended.
The kids had a great time. The girls slid off their shoes within the first fifteen minutes, bemoaning how uncomfortable high heels were.
Watching them barefoot and wearing tiaras, Tiffanie reminded herself how fun life could be, especially if headpieces were involved.
She needed to find her joy again. Phineas’s handsome face popped into her mind. Yeah, she needed to enjoy herself too.
Stretched out on her bed a few hours later, Tiffanie dove into the second book Phineas had suggested for her. As she read, Tiffanie wondered what kind of Daddy Phineas wanted to be. Strict and spanky? Gentle and spoiling?
She bit her bottom lip as she imagined Phineas in those different roles. The funny thing was Tiffanie could picture him in both profiles. The attitude she couldn’t imagine Phineas adopting was belittling or angry. That kind of Daddy wouldn’t be right for her.
Her phone buzzed. Using his business card, Tiffanie marked her place and checked the screen. Speak of the devil. Phineas.
“Hey, you,” Tiffanie said.
“Hi, Princess. I hope I’m not calling at a bad time.”
“Not at all. I’m home from helping at the sweet sixteen party. I’ve been reading the second book you recommended. It’s good. I’m already invested in the story.”
“Awesome. I thought you’d like it. I called to see if I could steal you away to my place tomorrow.”
“We’re going to watch a movie, right?”
“That was my plan, but I’m flexible if you have another idea.”
“Oh, no. I love films. That’s fun. Could we see the show in the afternoon? I wear out pretty fast in the evening.”
“Of course. We can build in some nap time as well for you. All Little girls need their rest.”
“You don’t want me to sleep through our visit,” Tiffanie said quickly. She’d already conked out on him once.
“As long as we’re together, Princess, I’m happy. Who knows? I might need a rest too.”
A picture of Phineas wrapped around her as she snoozed popped into her mind. Instantly, she wanted to experience this. She squeezed her thighs together as intimate heat gathered and her heart rate rose.
“Tiffanie? Did I lose you?” Phineas’s voice pulled her out of the delicious daydream.
“Sorry, something flew past the window and distracted me,” she lied.
“So I’ll pick you up at ten?”
“PM?” she squeaked. Had he not heard what she said?
“AM, Princess. You sleep in. I’ll come to get you at ten in the morning, and we’ll hang out and take in a movie or two between rest and naps. Does that plan appeal to you?
“That’s like the whole day. You’re going to get tired of me.”
“Never, Little girl.”
“You sound very sure of that, Phineas.”
“I am sure. I’m just giving you time to catch up.”
Suddenly, she couldn’t wait until tomorrow. “Sounds like fun.”
“I agree. Remember to bring Biff with you. I want to impress him.”
Phineas remembered her stuffie’s name. That was amazing. “He’s looking forward to meeting you officially.” She figured Phineas had tucked her teddy bear into her arms when he’d placed her in bed.
“I’ll do my best to convince your treasured friend that I’m good enough for you.”
“Of course you are!”
The dynamic man was confident in his lifestyle choices and desires. Before meeting him, she’d wondered if Daddies even existed outside of fictional stories. Phineas vanquished all her doubts, making her fantasies come true.
A question popped into her head. “When did you figure out you were a Daddy?”
“I didn’t find out that name until I was in my late teens.
A girl I was interested in asked if I was a Daddy.
Of course, I thought she was checking to see if I had kids.
Her parents were part of the kink lifestyle and extremely open about sex and relationships.
When she discovered I didn’t understand what she was talking about, Passion introduced me to her folks. ”
“Her name was Passion?” Tiffanie asked, hearing the incredulity in her own voice. Who would do that to their kid?
“Yes. Dom was her brother.”
“That could go badly if she was asexual and he was a sub,” Tiffanie said.
“So you’ve met them?” Phineas asked.
Three seconds passed as she searched for something to say to that. A weird, muffled sound came through the phone. “Are you laughing?” she demanded.
“Sorry, Little girl,” he said, chuckling.
“You are so bad. I can’t believe you made that up.”
“Oh, I didn’t lie about their names or the story.
Passion and Dom’s parents were quite pleasant as they ran through some of the more common personality types they met at the club’s dungeon.
Dom is very controlling. The idea of him as a sub got me,” Phineas said, humor resounding through his explanation.
“You’re kidding me. And I guess Passion didn’t grow up to be a nun?” Tiffanie said in exasperation.
“No. She did not choose a religious path. Passion excelled at pain and discipline. I’m sure she hears a lot of Oh, God but only in a good way.”
“Next you’re going to tell me she spanked your ass with a ruler.”
“She definitely didn’t do that,” he said before snickering.
Tiffanie wished she could see his face. Fascinated by this conversation, she asked, “Who decided you were a Daddy?”
“I did. Since I was over eighteen, Passion and her family invited me to visit the dungeon with them the next weekend. I walked in and spent thirty seconds scanning the open area before making a beeline for a punishment demonstration on a curvy woman wearing a schoolgirl outfit.”
Scanning down her body, Tiffanie swallowed hard. She definitely didn’t have ample curves. She’d always been slender but had lost weight due to the chemo.
“Speaking to the woman and her Dom later, when the scene finished and she’d had recovered in aftercare, I discovered who I was. The dedicated couple was married and enjoyed public play. She was her Daddy’s Little girl twenty-four/seven and a spectacular brat. An adorable handful, but not for me.”
“Why not for you?”
“Her Daddy was into punishment. His Little excelled at pushing boundaries. As they talked to me, a Little played on the floor with stuffies, having a tea party all by herself. I wanted to join her. While I am strict, I do not wish to spend the majority of our time together dealing with poor choices.”
“Meeting them helped you figure out you were a Daddy?”
“Visiting the dungeon showed me a variety of interests. I hadn’t known how to classify myself. I learned how I was wired and had a chance to experiment.”
“I’m not curvy,” Tiffanie blurted. She closed her eyes, appalled at herself.
“I am attracted to the beautiful package you come in, Princess. I wouldn’t change a thing about you. Well, other than to get you well so you can enjoy life to its fullest without worry.”
She liked that answer a lot. Maybe sharing information about what worried her was a good idea. “How did you guess I was Little?”
“I didn’t until you helped me select a book for you.”
“I told on myself?” she asked.
“You totally did. I did lure you down that path by asking questions.”
“You’re kind of rascally,” she said, slipping slightly into Little space. Letting herself be Little was easy around him. Phineas was such a genuine guy—nothing artificial.
“I am, Princess. Do you think you can put up with me?”
She nodded before she remembered he couldn’t see her, so she quickly whispered, “Yes.”
“I’m glad to hear that, Tiffanie. Now I bet you’re tired. Blow me a kiss and hang up the phone. I’ll pick you up at ten.”
Without second-guessing herself, Tiffanie followed his directions. “Mwah! Night.”
“Night, Princess.”
She loved that he stayed on the line until she disconnected. Wrapping her arms around Biff, she hugged him to her chest. “Did you hear that, Biff? Could he be more perfect for me?”
