Chapter 36
Thirty-Six
Theo
The ruin of Rafael Delucci began with moving him from the chair.
I knocked him unconscious with the whack of a two by four round the back of his head, then tied him to a foldout bed I’d found in a cupboard, the mattress thin and littered with broken springs poking through. I made sure I was rough, that each of his limbs smacked into concrete as I moved him.
That was followed by the removal of all his clothes, all his dignity as I ripped every cloth from his body then positioned him so that he was fucking exposed. I tied his legs up so even his hairy asshole was visible to anyone walking down the stairs.
And there was nothing he could do to stop it. He was restrained so tight his skin turned purple fast.
When he woke up groggy and disorientated, he tried to squirm. Fuck, it was satisfying to see he couldn’t move a damned inch. I tipped a few gulps of tepid water through his gag and left him there to rot, exposed, scared, confused. No explanation.
Let him come up with a million awful scenarios while he stared into space.
Violet had been happy to let me take the lead for now, trusting me while she healed up.
We’d spent a long night talking everything through, about our family, how to move forward as the only ones left.
We didn’t miss them, at least I didn’t, but there was a lot up in the air now.
Shit to unpack, to solve, people to answer.
Money. Property. Investments and shit. Nothing I wanted, but would use to better Violet’s life.
Our father wasn’t just a sicko with a fetish for handing his kids over to criminals; he had a very successful business.
And the responsibility for that now fell on us.
Sucking it up, I’d called the VP only a few hours ago and told him to deal with everything for the time being. Informed him that everyone was dead.
That after a huge family tragedy, an unexpected fire wiping out so many of the Lewis’s at once, leaving Violet and me reeling, suffering. We needed time to grieve.
The heaviness in my voice was only for my sisters, but it worked. The VP spluttered, held back a cry of anguish and hung up the phone, telling me he’d take care of everything.
I contemplated the idea of coping with the grief of it as I sought my sister out, following the sounds of her singing somewhere on the property.
Was it something I even needed to do? Everyone was gone, gone together, no more.
The Lewis bloodline would end with us because we sure as shit wouldn’t be making any babies.
But grieving, for the life we could have had maybe. But not for anything else.
Violet was outside on the back porch, a blanket over her shoulders and a glass of wine in her hands, watching the world drift by.
The trees that backed the property weren’t too dense, so it was possible to catch the occasional animal moving through.
As it was late afternoon, the sun was still high in the sky, but on its descent, casting long shadows across the greenery.
She stopped singing when I sank down next to her, humming in pleasure instead. Without a word between us, we shuffled so her legs fell over mine, and my arm curled around her shoulders. How we should be. Connected.
“I was just hoping to catch sight of an animal,” she murmured, stroking a hand along my thigh.
“You were singing.” I kissed the top of her head.
“In the Disney movies Mother would let me watch, singing always attracted animals.” Violet shrugged, like she knew that was silly, but couldn’t help herself.
She’d been grieving differently from me, hanging onto the good moments that were few and far between.
Remembering the brief times she found happiness instead of focusing on all the sadness.
“I was hoping to see a bunny or a deer or whatever. I don’t even know what animals they have here… ”
“Oh well, in that case—” I started singing a Queen song at the top of my voice, yelling about satellites and sex machines while Violet laughed her ass off before joining in, screeching out the words in a much worse voice than she’d been humming in before.
We spent a lot of time in this cabin listening to music. I’d make her dance with me, stomping our feet and getting her to laugh so Rafael could hear her joy. We only had old records, things Christian’s family had left behind, so it was a lot of classic rock and blues. Violet lit up to everything.
It was one of my greatest joys in life watching her tick over to who she was meant to be. Not squashed into any mold.
We jostled each other as the song came to an end, and I pulled her up onto my lap, letting her legs fall on either side of my thighs. “I don’t think any animals are coming,” I muttered, heat rippling between us as it so often did.
“What were you doing down there?” she asked me, her voice so quiet, her brow furrowed.
I laid a kiss on her chin. “You really want to know?”
Tentatively, she gave a nod. “I think I’m almost ready.”
“Well, let’s wait until fully ready.” I paused. “But I can tell you how he is at least?”
She shook her head and frowned, though it was teasing, mocking of him. “I really don’t care.” Her lips connected with mine, a joyous, happy kiss. I snaked my tongue into her mouth, chasing the taste of the white wine as I let my hands roam down her hips and to her ass, groping hard.
She squealed and laughed, pushing harder back into my grasp and shaking, almost like she was twerking, showing off everything she had back there.
“I love your fat arse,” I said against her mouth, digging my fingernails into the flesh.
I moved deeper until my fingertips touched her asshole and tapped against it, making her squirm more.
She spread her legs wider, sinking her clothed pussy over my hard cock.
Too much fabric between us. God, this was never difficult, always so natural, even now.
Everything was over, almost, and we still wanted each other with as much ferocity.
My hand snaked between our bodies, and I released my cock to the air before pushing her underwear to the side.
“Get on my cock now,” I groaned, rubbing my fingers through her wetness to make sure she was ready for me, moving the fluid from her hole to her clit, spreading it all over and making her moan.
She nodded and kissed me, holding my face as she lifted, then settled back down, her pussy swallowing up my desperate cock in one swoop.
She was so wet, so needy, she sank all the way down with no resistance, sighing as I stretched her out.
Perfect. So perfect. There wasn’t a single way we didn’t fit.
I tipped my head back in pleasure as she squeezed around me.
It didn’t take us long to explode together. She bounced her hips, kissing me hard and moaning, breathing heavily as she reached her peak, fucking me, taking from me what she needed in a harsh, desperate fuck.
As her pussy throbbed and clenched around me, her body twitching and tensing while she fed me breathy moans, I filled her with my cum, my vision blanking for a second as perfect sensation overwhelmed everything.
I held her tight, our bodies pressed together, unwilling to separate as we both settled through the last of our orgasms, enjoying the aftershocks as we relaxed again.
Once we both came over the other side, sinking back down, we didn’t move, still holding on to each other, just resting as one, connected and satisfied, safe.
I loved this woman until the end of the earth, with so much deep pain, all-consuming aching warmth.
She was mine, wholly and completely. I was hers, maybe even more so.
In that moment, we existed only for each other; we lived only for each other. We were one.
“Theo,” she whispered against my ear, her warm breath tickling my sweat-slicked skin as she sighed.
I smiled, holding her head to my shoulder, stroking her hair, running tired fingers through her sweaty strands. “Yes, love?”
“Carry me to bed?”
Violet and I existed in peace for a few more days, ignoring the presence of the demon in the basement.
We ate the good food delivered by Christian, we watched endless TV shows and movies, we fucked, we snuggled and we just existed together.
My favorite thing, apart from being balls deep in her, was making her laugh.
She was so innocent there, so it was easy to make her light up with jokes I’d heard a million times or playing stupid games. We kicked a ball about in the backyard, and when she scored a goal between my makeshift posts, she jumped up and down so sweetly I just had to fuck her then and there.
There was so much I wanted to show her in the world, not just media or whatever, but the entire fucking wide world. But for now, we were happy in this cabin together. A bubble built for us.
With the devil in the basement beneath our feet.
I made sure Rafael didn’t dehydrate to death, but otherwise, he remained alive, in that position with his ass out and his limbs extended, not able to move, to eat, to exist anywhere except in his disgusting head.
Violet never saw him, never asked about him.
She was content with me taking the load, and it was my pleasure to take it from her.
The piece of shit moaned and tried to beg through the gag wherever I was down there, but I never said a word to hurt him or to placate him, nothing. At no time did I look him in the eye or give him anything other than the minimum amount of water for survival.
I shut the basement door behind me with a slam after checking on him for the night, it would be a fucking shame, after all, to discover he’d died without his full punishment, and found Violet waiting for me, leaning against the kitchen counter, drinking a glass of wine with a frown tipping her mouth down.
“Hey gorgeous,” I said, moving in closer. “What’s up?”
I’d left her in bed after fucking her mouth and eating her pussy, with her eyes shut and a satisfied, sleepy expression across her beautiful face. This was a surprise. Never a bad one to see more of her though. But there was something different about her.
She smiled, a bright thing, but with the darkness behind her gaze I hadn’t seen a glimpse of since that night in the Delucci mansion. “I’m ready,” she said. “I’m ready to end this.”
