Chapter 26
Tino
My ass was sore. That was my first thought as I opened my eyes in the morning. Rubbing said eyes, I looked to my left and found Tair sound asleep. He looked so peaceful. So at ease.
Yesterday was perfect. It had been my turn bottoming and I’d loved every second.
I had trouble deciding which I preferred.
I hoped Tair felt the same so we could switch up who did the fucking in the future.
Once all of this was over with, we could spend every night inside one another, without worrying about the future like now, where our moments like yesterday felt fleeting. Rushed.
My need to pee had me leaving behind the warm bed, even if I wasn’t ready to get up yet.
Our bathroom filled with soft light as I got ready to pee.
What? A small bump on my dick had my eyes adjusting quicker to the light and I saw the metal piercing.
Had he done this while I was asleep? Just how fucked out had I been?
The stone inside was a brown one with swirls of lighter brown mixed in.
It looked like his eye color. He truly had a thing with eye colors.
I chuckled to myself, then finished peeing.
I couldn’t even be mad. The piercing was perfect and now it held a part of Tair too.
It was like he’d claimed my dick as his own.
Like he’d done with his own dick, putting a stone that represented me on it.
I rather liked having a visual claim on his dick.
I walked back inside our bedroom to find Tair awake. He looked nervous, likely knowing I wouldn’t be able to pee without noticing his little gift. I leaned down and pecked a quick kiss on his lips. “I love it.”
He sighed in relief, then beamed up at me. “The stone too?”
“Especially the stone,” I said, kissing him again.
“It’s a tiger stone. I know it’s too small to see much detail, but it was what felt most fitting.”
“I love it. Which stone is in yours?”
“Blue sapphire,” he said, getting up from the bed. “When I saw Silver’s and Niam’s rings, I knew I wanted one, too.
“So, you picked a dick piercing instead of a ring for our fingers?” I said, amused.
“Of course! I don’t want to copy them, and this way we have something only we get to see.”
“But what if I want my claim on you to be visible?” I asked seriously.
“I guess we could do ink markings, like a sort of tattoo,” he mused, tugging on his pants.
I began getting dressed, too, knowing breakfast would soon arrive. “I’d love a tattoo that symbolized you.”
“When all of this shit is over and done with, I’ll brand you with my name for all to see,” he assured me, grinning widely.
“Can’t wait,” I grinned back.
After a hearty breakfast, we left to train. The dummies had been replaced, just like Nujik had said they would be. The mages responsible had to be working long nights, but training was essential so it made sense they prioritized it.
Nujik oversaw our training like he’d done yesterday, giving out advice as we tried different combinations of magic. He also mentioned more than once to use just one element once in a while and to not forget the power just one element held.
Our familiars joined in, proving just how badass they were with their own magic as they left dummies burning, their movements swift as wind magic carried them through the hundred dummies. Sometimes they would disappear, only to show up on the other side a second later.
Nujik called out for us to stop and joined us when it was safe for him to do so. “It’s time to practice your abilities, and since Willow and I think it’s best to hide your special powers from others, you need to practice on me.”
“I feel comfortable enough with my power,” Xarius said, seeming genuine.
“Me too,” Niam said.
“Us too,” Silver said, gesturing to him and Wilston. “We had lots of time to practice ours. We should focus on Altair and Tino. They’re the only ones who haven’t fought using theirs yet.”
“I’ve tried mine enough to be comfortable with them,” Tair said, looking at me. “We should focus on yours.”
I shrugged, not disagreeing with them. It was harder to practice since I felt I needed the consent of others before ordering them against their will.
“You can use your magic on me, just no killing,” Nujik winked and gestured for me to bring it.
I laughed with the others and thought about what I should make him do.
I thought something safe would be best, so I willed him to kick one of the dummies until it broke in half.
He rushed towards the one I’d picked out and began kicking furiously.
“He seems to be in a trancelike state. I wonder if he’ll remember doing it afterwards,” Niam said, tracking Nujik’s movements.
We stood there watching in silence as Nujik “killed” the dummy.
As soon as half of its body was kicked off, Nujik seemed to gain control over himself again.
He turned away from the dummy and ran awkwardly back to where we stood.
His smile was strained as he approached us.
“It worked, but damn it was horrifying.”
I winced. “How so?”
“I was aware of everything, felt everything, but I couldn’t control myself. It was as if another person had taken over my body. It was probably the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced.”
“I’m sorry,” I said quickly, not liking I’d made him so uncomfortable.
“It was my own decision, and I’m glad I was the one doing it. Kicking that dummy was the only purpose so my actions were focused on that, and not hitting my target without hurting myself.”
“Is that why your shin is aching?” Niam asked, looking down Nujik’s right leg. “And bleeding from the looks of it!”
Nujik winced at Niam’s tone, then shot him a pained smile. “Had it been someone else it might’ve been broken now. My height came to good use today.”
“Let me help,” Tair said, kneeling at his leg. He pushed the darkening pant leg up, showing off just how badly he’d hurt himself. “How did you even run back to us?” Tair asked incredulously.
“The pain didn’t truly register until I was next to you, when I finally got control back, I forgot to feel the pain,” he explained, a frown marring his features. “I didn’t feel anything to be honest.”
“That was because I took care of it,” Niam said. “I could feel your pain but didn’t dare use my powers on you before I knew you were done being coerced. I had to let go of it when you reached us to figure out how hurt you were.”
“Thank you.”
Tair was focusing on the bleeding wound. From where I was standing, it looked as if the skin had ripped because of friction from the pants meeting the dummy. Light filled the air around Tair’s palm as he guided his magic to heal the skin.
“There,” Tair said, sounding satisfied as he stood.
Nujik sighed in relief. “Much better. Thank you both. And amazing use of your powers, all three of you.”
We continued training with our familiars again after that. Julie had been asked to join the other mages after lunch, so we likely wouldn’t see her until just before bed.
“Again,” Nujik encouraged us, and so we continued raining down hell on the dummies.
